The scarlet blade light slashed at the Azure Dragon light barrier, which trembled violently, its light dimming instantaneously as if it were about to extinguish.
Jorge Gross spat out a mouthful of fresh blood as he raised the pottery bowl in his hand and shone it onto the dark, ghostly energy barrier ford by the Blood Fiend Flag.
It was as if golden light was pouring out of the bowl, disrupting all the unwholeso energy in an instant and creating a large golden hole in the wall.
The hole led outside the formation.
This scene was like soone shining a flashlight in the dark night, creating a road of light that pierced through the darkness, leading to brightness.
Deacon Wolf, the Blood Skull, his face slightly changing, sneered, “Think you can escape?”
A streak of Blood Light fell into the Blood Fiend Flag, whipping up a gale of shadowy wind that instantly squeezed the newly ford large hole shut.
At the sa ti, the torrent of Hollow Void Practitioners from the Skeleton Bandit Group and the Arhat Bandit Group, along with a horde of Deity Transformation Experts, rushed over.
The path to escape vanished in a flash, and with it, the chance of survival.
In Jorge’s eyes, despair surfaced.
The Vajra Gang had already been weakened in the last catastrophe, only he and Kellan Gentry remained at the Hollow Void Realm.
Both the Skeleton Bandit Group and the Arhat Bandit Group had at least three Hollow Void Realm mbers each, totaling six, in addition to the even more nurous Deity Transformation Realm mbers.
How could they possibly hold them off?
Caden Compton roared, “There’s no escape, fight them!”
Zaire Schneider glanced at Carson Flores, offering a bitter smile, “If you have the ability to escape, then hurry.
We’re done for today!”
Carson scanned the surroundings quickly, all the Vajra Gang mbers displaying a look of despair; each prepared to make their final stand.
Without any hesitation, Carson stepped forward, taking a position at the vanguard of the group.
With a wave of his hand, the Water-Fire Mirror appeared in his grip.
The spell was cast, and a burst of fla erupted from the mirror.
In the next second, a vast spread of cyan flas engulfed the sky, enveloping the two approaching bandit groups.
“Trivial tricks!”
Deacon Wolf let out a cold snort of disdain, flicking his hand, and the sky filled with Blood Light, quickly extinguishing much of the flas.
The crowd surged forward, but then, soone let out a scream of terror.
“What is this!”
“What kind of monster is this!”
“Aargh!”
Scarlet spots began to appear on the bodies of the leading pack of bandits, these spots expanding at a rate visible to the naked eye.
Their flesh was lting away!
The screams were unending as all the mbers of the Vajra Gang watched in horror at the scene unfolding before them.
At least twenty or thirty people who rushed into the sea of fire had dense clusters of bloody spots appearing on their bodies, which rapidly expanded into gaping bloody holes.
Among these people were even two Hollow Void Practitioners.
Their protective Spiritual Energy shields were no defence against these spots, and like the others, their flesh continued to corrode!
Everyone was left in shock.
What was this thing that even Hollow Void Practitioners couldn’t withstand?
“Blood Mist!”
Deacon Wolf looked around frantically and suddenly shouted, “Be careful of the Blood Mist in the air, don’t let it touch you!”
Everyone fearfully retreated, daring not to cross the region scorched by fire.
Utilizing the firelight, they also noticed the Scarlet Mist drifting through the air.
The screaming cultivators had been contaminated with this Blood Mist, which swiftly dissolved their protective Spiritual Energy shields and then rotted their flesh.
“My Primordial Spirit!”
A Hollow Void Practitioner cried out in horror as his Primordial Spirit flew out.
What terrified everyone was that his Primordial Spirit was also tainted with the Scarlet Mist, causing it to corrode and dissolve uncontrollably!
Another Hollow Void Practitioner retreated in terror, tearing open his own body, now skeletal, allowing his Primordial Spirit to erge and escape being contaminated by the Scarlet Mist.
As grim as the Hollow Void Practitioners were, those with Divine Transformation Strength fared even worse, having no resistance at all.
The lucky ones had their Primordial Spirits escape, while the unlucky ones were also tainted by the Blood Mist, walking a path of despair towards death.
The sudden calamity stunned everyone, causing even Kellan Gentry and Bentley Frost, locked in fierce combat, to instinctively halt their struggle, their gazes unanimously fixing on Carson Flores.
Jorge’s eyes widened in shock.
He had long sensed that Carson was no ordinary person and that he must have had a purpose for joining the bandit group.
But since Carson was rely at the Nascent Soul Strength and they were the ones who had approached him, they discounted the possibility that he was a spy from another sect, rely observing him secretly.>
When Carson abruptly made his move, in one fell swoop, he annihilated about twenty to thirty people, including two Hollow Void Practitioners!
It was terrifying!
What was Carson’s background?
A hopeful light suddenly burst in the desperate eyes of all the Vajra Gang mbers.
While it was true that Carson was indeed rely at Nascent Soul Strength, his sudden strike had decimated so many; it was hard for them not to hope that he might pull off sothing more.
