1217: Chapter 1217: This…

Can’t Even Count as Tickling, Right?

The Kui Ox hide is a fine thing, but Kui Ox are not easy to kill.

More than ten teams arrived, numbering over a hundred; yet not a single person took the initiative to attack.

From within the torrential rain, a graceful figure ca wandering, it was the Demon Ancestor Vivian Cobb.

“Kui Ox?”

A look of surprise and delight shone in Vivian Cobb’s eyes, “This is indeed an unexpected joy.”

Vivian’s gaze swept over, spotting the various factions’ squads hidden all around.

A group of Great Demons; their presence couldn’t be hidden from anyone.

Suddenly, Vivian spoke out, her voice spreading across the fields, entering everyone’s ears.

“The hide of the Kui Ox is of divine significance and has a great use.

It should not belong to one person, but to the entire Demon Race.

I, as Demon Ancestor, command everyone to join hands, work together to slay the Kui Ox, and present its hide to His Majesty to create a war drum, to bolster the might of our Demon Race Army.”

“Everyone who takes part, I will take note of you and ensure His Majesty bestows generous rewards upon your departure from the Secret Realm!”

Upon these words, many from the Demon Race were instantly encouraged to agree.

Everyone wanted the hide of the Kui Ox, but none had the strength to slay it.

Even if everyone attacked in the ensuing chaos and killed the Kui Ox, snatched its hide, it would most likely end up confiscated by the Demon Emperor; after all, this would be considered an incredibly valuable strategic resource.

Since that’s the case, it’s better for everyone to cooperate in the slaying, then offer it to the Demon Emperor, in order to gain a corresponding rit.

“We shall heed the command of the Demon Ancestor!”

Hearing over a hundred Demons bow and comply, Carson Flores frowned.

With over a hundred Demons working together to kill the Kui Ox, he didn’t stand much chance.

Upon further thought, Carson let it go.

Lilianna Norman is the Demon Race Holy Maiden.

Even though she currently does not support the war between the Demon and Human Races, as a mber of the Demon Race, she would not want the Kui Ox hide to end up in her hands.

If it really ca down to a fight, and he turned it into a war drum, wouldn’t the ultimate adversary still be the Demon Race?

There might be internal disagreents within the Demon Race, but when it cos to the great conflict between the Demon and Human Races, she would ultimately stand on the side of the Demon Race.

Vivian Cobb shouted aloud, “Everyone, heed my command.

The Kui Ox has incredibly strong defenses and is impervious to blades and spears.

Its weaknesses are the eyes, belly, and inside the mouth.

Use your strongest attacks, and strike together.”

“Rember, the Kui Ox has imnse strength; no one can withstand its charge, so engage in long-range combat only, and do not get close!”

“If anyone is attacked by the Kui Ox, abandon your assault at once, create distance, and do not harbor any hope of luck.”

“I repeat, no one can endure a direct blow from the Kui Ox; avoid any head-on collisions!”

The voice of Vivian Cobb resonated through the heavens and earth, reaching the ears of every Demon.

Lilianna Norman turned and said, “You don’t act, stay far away.”

Carson asked, “Are you going to act?”

Lilianna nodded, “Since Vivian Cobb wants to offer the Kui Ox hide to His Majesty for the entire Demon Race, It is only natural for , as the Saintess, to contribute my part.”

Carson said with a nonchalant smile, “If I don’t act, I’ll stand out, which could attract unwanted attention.

I’ll just strike casually and blend in; you just take care of yourself!”

Lilianna uttered a sound of acknowledgnt, her figure lightly drifting forth.

Amid the downpour, over a hundred Demons braced themselves and were ready to burst forth.

“Attack!”

Following Vivian’s fierce shout, over a hundred magical treasures carrying the might to shatter heavens and earth smashed towards the Kui Ox.

“Boom!”

The ground trembled, the earth cracked open, and endless Spiritual Energy rampaged wildly within the vicinity, tearing all things asunder.

“Howl!”

The Kui Ox let out a roar that shook heaven and earth.

The surrounding mountains collapsed in pieces, and boulders tumbled down as if prophesizing the apocalypse.

Carson had already sealed his hearing and plugged his ears.

Although he couldn’t completely prevent the roar, as sound doesn’t just travel through the air but also through flesh and bone, he could greatly weaken its force.

Carson’s heart suddenly contracted, his blood rushed, fueling a sensation of bursting forth, his vision dimming as if struck by an invisible blunt instrunt.

How fierce!

Carson floated from afar, holding a cannon-shaped Aura Umbrella, targeting those deep blue eyes from a distance; yet the Kui Ox effortlessly evaded the attack with a twist of its head.

The Aura Cannon hit upon its mountain-like body, igniting a burst of fireworks-like Golden Light, then went silent.

Barely even a tickle, right?

Shocked internally, Carson’s actions remained unhurried.

As soone at the Divinity Transformation Stage, it was logical that he couldn’t injure the Kui Ox.

Hanging around the periphery and playing it cool was also reasonable, wasn’t it?

The massive body of the Kui Ox was struck down by over a hundred powerful attacks, collapsing onto the ground with dust billowing up.

The Kui Ox, after being attacked, caused the ominous clouds in the sky to disperse strangely, and the pouring rain ceased instantly.

The sun once again pierced through the clouds, casting its light upon the earth.

All the Trialists finally got a clear view of the Kui Ox’s true form; each one of them inhaled sharply.

The Kui Ox had the shape of an ox but without the usual pair of horns.

Its body was as large as a mountain, with legs as robust as buildings, its body in shades of green, its skin like rock—with Layered Peaks and crags; from a distance, it truly resembled a rugged mountain peak!

After such an onslaught, did it rely fall, unhard?

Truly terrifying!
