He was inviting her to his bed, to lie down beside him?
What was he intending to do?
Could it be that he desired her?
Though Shirley had never been with a man, she understood that for a normal man to cohabitate with a beautiful woman like her, seeing her in a nightgown day in and day out, yet unable to touch, would be a trendous temptation and torture.
Did Carson reach a breaking point and, seizing today’s opportunity, wish to take her to bed?
Shirley bit her lip, “I should get up there?”
Carson’s smile intensified, “Yes, co up, sleep here.”
