After a while, Easton Walters’s cold voice rang out: “Collecting my True Fire, are you? Let’s see how you handle this instead!”
Suddenly, the raging flas were swept away entirely, replaced by an endless surge of Cold Ice Energy that poured in fiercely, enveloped within thick white mist. Though invisible, the temperature plumted sharply.
The air that had been scorching hot beca icy and bone-chilling. The temperature rapidly dropped, as if the two had gone from being roasted in a furnace to being thrown into a freezer. The cold air flooded toward them, threatening to seal them into ice statues.
Carson Flores blinked. First he tried to roast us alive, and now he wants to freeze us to death?

Selah Ellison Fairy remained unmoved, turning her head to Carson Flores. “What now?”
Carson Flores chuckled. “No problem, I’ll just heat things up a little.”
He raised the Water-Fire Mirror, and fiery light burst forth, unleashing a fierce blaze that swept across the air.
The raging flas instantly dispelled the bone-chilling cold, and the air turned dry as the temperature rapidly rose.
Selah Ellison Fairy laughed out loud. “So it can release fire too, huh?”
Carson Flores grinned. “Yes, it can both absorb and release fire.”
Selah Ellison Fairy looked at the other side of the Water-Fire Mirror. “What about the other side—what does it do?”
Carson Flores smirked. “This side is the Fire Mirror; the other is the Water Mirror, and they work the sa way.”
Selah Ellison Fairy asked in amazent, “The Water Mirror—can it absorb water and release it?”
Carson Flores nodded. “Precisely, it absorbs the energy contained in water and fire. For instance, this ultra-low-temperature mist—it can absorb that. Ordinary water, however, it cannot.”
With Carson Flores’s explanation, Selah Ellison Fairy understood and smiled. “Doesn’t that an you’re invincible against water and fire?”
Carson Flores replied with a chuckle. “Invincible is a stretch, but with this mirror, if the enemy uses water or fire, I’ll have a significant advantage.”
As Carson Flores and Selah Ellison Fairy chatted leisurely, Easton Walters—manipulating the formation—was boiling with rage.
