“Fairy, this Glazed Universe Umbrella is a spiritual treasure, and you don’t want it?”
“It’s yours.”
Selah Ellison Fairy casually replied, thought for a mont, then turned her head and glanced at Carson Flores, a slight smirk playing on her lips. “For soone like you, who attracts trouble wherever you go, if you don’t bring at least so defense treasures and escape artifacts with you, even ten lives wouldn’t be enough for you to squander.”
Carson Flores called out in protest, “Fairy, no way, co on. You saw it yourself; from beginning to end, I never intended to provoke the Supre Heaven Sect! It’s them who want to kill . Who did I offend or provoke, really?”
Selah Ellison Fairy pressed her lips together. “Maybe it’s because you’re naturally irritating to people.”
Carson Flores retorted with a snort, “Not at all, Fairy… at least *you* don’t hate . So what are *they* even? They’re just jealous, jealous that I got the Heavenly Sword Inheritance…”
Halfway through his words, Selah Ellison Fairy had already deciphered his aning. She bit her lip discreetly, shooting a glare in Carson’s direction.
This guy was clearly implying that even though he had seen her body, she hadn’t hated him or killed him…
“Try bringing that up again two more tis and see if I’ll take you out or not.”
“I wouldn’t dare.”
Carson Flores laughed sheepishly and quickly changed the subject, “So, are we heading to Fiery Fla Canyon now?”
After spending so much ti together, he had co to understand that Selah Ellison Fairy was soone who adhered strongly to her principles—not the type to bully others or kill indiscriminately. Otherwise, just the fact that Carson had seen her body would have been reason enough for her to kill him ten tis over.
Of course, Carson also didn’t dare to push the jokes too far. Won, when they beca truly enraged, could often do things that left n utterly dumbfounded.
Selah Ellison Fairy nodded slightly, “Yes. Who knows, you might even be of so help.”
Carson Flores was puzzled. With his ager strength, how could he possibly be of any help?
Seeing his confusion, Selah Ellison Fairy clarified, “The Water-Fire Mirror.”
Carson suddenly understood. “Got it!”
The two of them headed toward Fiery Fla Canyon together. Along the way, Carson refined all the magical treasures he had just acquired, embedding his spiritual mark into them and equipping himself.
His sense of security instantly skyrocketed!
After a month of travel on the Flying Boat, the two finally reached Fiery Fla Canyon.
It had to be said—the Immortal Domains were vast and boundless. Rumor had it that the Thunder Immortal Realm was one of the relatively smaller realms, while Skyland Continent was just a portion of the Thunder Immortal Realm. Even with the Flying Boat’s remarkable speed, traveling to any random place took dozens of days—or even longer.
Fiery Fla Canyon was an enormous gorge filled with magma. At the canyon’s end was an expansive volcanic region, with multiple craters emitting blazing flas and heavy plus of smoke.
Carson surveyed the surroundings and asked, “Using the natural heat for incubation?”
Selah Ellison Fairy replied, “The Golden-Winged Great Roc is a rare and extraordinary species. The temperature required for its eggs to hatch is extrely high, and it also requires a stable, consistent heat—no wild fluctuations. This place stays scorching hot all year round. We’ll find a suitable spot with the right temperature, place the egg in an optimal position, and simply wait.”
“Understood!”
The two circled around Fiery Fla Canyon and eventually found a location where the temperature was just right.
Selah Ellison Fairy threw a casual punch, blasting a massive cavern into the nearby rock wall, then took out the Golden-Winged Great Roc’s egg and placed it inside the cavern.
“So we just leave it here like this?”
Carson Flores rubbed his chin thoughtfully. “Sohow, it feels… unrefined. When hens incubate chicks, they sit on the eggs to let the heat penetrate inside, not just remain on the shell.”
Selah Ellison Fairy replied, “The Golden-Winged Great Roc isn’t that fragile. As long as the outer temperature is high enough, it’ll naturally penetrate inside. It’s not a problem.”
Carson shrugged. “Alright, then how long do we have to wait?”
“About a year.”
Carson asked curiously, “Fairy, though the Golden-Winged Great Roc is indeed formidable, it doesn’t seem like it would provide much help considering your current strength. Why did you take such a big risk to steal the egg?”
Selah Ellison Fairy responded, “Because I was bored.”
Carson was at a loss for words.
Upon deeper thought, it did make so sense. At near Celestial Immortal Peak, there wasn’t much room for improvent. The only significant step forward would co from the Nine Revolutions Great Land Pill—but that was nowhere to be found.
She had heard about Divine Brilliance Tower appearing in the Blackstone Mountain Range, so she went there to investigate—only to spot the Golden-Winged Great Roc and, to her surprise, its egg. If it had been him in her shoes, he’d probably also be tempted to steal it out of sheer itchy curiosity.
Not for advancent, but just to indulge himself.
After all, it *was* the Golden-Winged Great Roc.
And since the egg was already in front of them, why not hatch it?
The two settled down in Fiery Fla Canyon, almost as if they were hiding away from the world.
The Golden-Winged Great Roc’s egg required little care. Occasionally, they used the Water-Fire Mirror to adjust the temperature, but beyond that, there wasn’t much to do.
Selah Ellison Fairy spent her days imrsed in the Primitive Pill Scripture, alternating between reading it and ditating to comprehend its principles, though she never actually began practicing alchemy herself.
“Fairy, you’ve been reading the pill scripture all this while. Aren’t you going to try making so pills?”
“There’s no proper environnt for alchemy here. So instead, I focus on understanding and theorizing. When the ti cos to start, it’ll all feel much simpler.”
Carson blinked in surprise, utterly amazed.
Simulating alchemy in her mind?
Was that even possible?
That was pure genius.
In comparison, his own talent seed embarrassingly subpar.
It was downright demoralizing!
