Chapter 1486: Chapter 1486: What Good Stuff Is There?
Selah Ellison Fairy floated into the air, clutching her clothes tightly around herself. Golden light surged from her body once more, shielding those dangerously alluring long legs that could lead anyone astray.
Carson Flores tactfully turned his body away.
It wasn’t his first ti seeing Selah Ellison Fairy without clothes, but he had to admit—it got bloodier and sadder every ti. Her entire body was soaked in blood; the scene was anything but pleasant.
Sure, she was a breathtaking beauty, but the wounds that left her flesh tattered and raw, combined with the rivers of blood—there was nothing beautiful about it.
If it weren’t for the Immortal Realm’s miraculous salves or healing thods, even that one incident might have scarred this beauty into a hideous figure full of defects.
In short, these two potentially “beautiful” scenarios hadn’t left even slightly enchanting or romantic mories.
Selah Ellison Fairy even felt a bit resentful deep in her heart; twice now, a man had seen everything—but both tis it had been under such tragic circumstances.
Even though she had no particular feelings about it, two thoughts of bitterness still lingered silently within her.
Selah Ellison Fairy never expected that, given her strength, such situations—where Carson Flores would see her entirely and even provide close-up treatnts—would only arise when faced with extrely powerful enemies and severe injuries.
Selah Ellison Fairy returned to her Cave Mansion. When she next appeared before Carson Flores, she had restored her usual stunning appearance, though her complexion carried an unnatural pallor.
It was evident that her injuries were severe.
Though Carson Flores had used the Life Essence Pearl to heal her external wounds, the damage done internally was beyond its ability to completely heal.
“Fairy, are you okay?”
Selah Ellison Fairy nodded, her gaze sowhat peculiar: “I hadn’t expected that the Fla Dragon Ghost Bat’s greatest strength wasn’t its formidable body nor the Dragonfla carried by its Fla Dragon bloodline, but the sonic attacks stemming from its bat bloodline. I was caught off guard and suffered a major loss. Thankfully, you ca to my aid and eased the situation—otherwise, taking two consecutive hits would’ve likely ended right here.”
Carson Flores chuckled: “It was nothing. On such a battlefield, I couldn’t make much of a difference anyway. Whether it’s its Dragonfla, sonic waves, or even its physical strength, just touching any of those would likely reduce to ashes in an instant…”
Selah Ellison Fairy glanced at Carson Flores and soared into the air, landing in front of the Fla Dragon Ghost Bat’s mountain-like body. She casually summoned the Purple Jade Gourd, and as its sword-like energy surged forth like a raging river, she fiercely stabbed into the beast’s body.
Even though the Fla Dragon Ghost Bat was dead, its body remained incredibly tough, enduring sword after sword before finally being blasted open with a large hole.
Selah Ellison Fairy stretched out her hand, aiming at the massive hole from a distance.
The blood and flesh stirred, and a soft jade-like inner core the size of an ostrich egg erged from the opening, suspending itself in her palm.
“Let’s go.”
Carson Flores looked at the massive corpse on the ground: “Is there really nothing else useful here?”
Selah Ellison Fairy shook her head: “Of course it’s valuable, but not very useful to . This inner core is the most valuable thing here.”
“If you don’t mind the trouble, you could extract all its teeth—they’re ideal materials for Artifact Refining. Its blood, thanks to the Fla Dragon lineage, can be used to refine elixirs as well as assist in Artifact Refining. As for other parts like its bones, once pulverized, they’re not worth much.”
“If there was an incredibly skilled Artifact Refiner, they might use its two wings as main materials to forge a pair of flight-capable magical treasures. Unfortunately, I’m not that skilled, nor do I know anyone of such caliber.”
“Oh, and its flesh—you should preserve as much of it as possible. The Golden-Winged Great Roc eats at, and such premium blood-infused flesh from a Demonic Beast with Fla Dragon bloodline could serve as the ideal nourishnt for its growth.”
Carson Flores nodded: “Alright. At the very least, it’s a top-tier Demonic Beast, so it would be a waste to leave it unattended. I’ll strip it down—might as well trade so of the remains for Immortal Spirit Stones later. Oh, and what purpose does this inner core serve?”
Selah Ellison Fairy replied casually: “It’s pure energy—good for cultivation and healing injuries.”
Carson Flores grinned: “Perfect timing since you’re injured—you can use it.”
Selah Ellison Fairy acknowledged with a hum but said no more.
Carson Flores returned to the Cave Mansion and re-arranged the Golden-Winged Great Roc’s egg within the incubation room. While Selah Ellison Fairy focused on recovery, he went to gather the spoils of the battle.
The Fla Dragon Ghost Bat’s teeth were incredibly tough—far harder than steel—and indeed pri materials for forging magical treasures.
Selah Ellison Fairy was undeniably an elite figure; such premium materials didn’t even catch her interest!
Carson Flores spent considerable effort pulling out every one of the Fla Dragon Ghost Bat’s teeth. He also collected a massive quantity of its blood. Possibly due to the Fla Dragon bloodline, its blood ran incredibly hot, sizzling loudly wherever it poured onto the ground.
In addition, Carson Flores gathered ample portions of the Fla Dragon Ghost Bat’s flesh, intending to use them later as food for the Golden-Winged Great Roc.
Ten days later, Selah Ellison Fairy appeared before Carson Flores again. Her complexion had returned to normal, her skin fair with a faint blush of healthy blood flow.
“Recovered?”
Selah Ellison Fairy responded with a hum and casually tossed sothing over: “Take it.”
Carson Flores caught it effortlessly, realizing it was the Fla Dragon Ghost Bat’s inner core. However, its size was noticeably smaller than when it was first extracted, and its luster had dimd slightly.
“This is what remains of the inner core. Your strength is lacking, so you should absorb the energy within for cultivation—it should help you improve…”
