The One-Line Sky Gate stands tall and imposing, reaching straight into the clouds.
White mist swirls within the gate, resembling a celestial paradise, yet an ominous aura continuously escapes from within.
This aura is peculiar, not consistently released but rather in waves, like scorching breaths, irregularly brushing against the skin, raising goosebumps, causing discomfort!
Such a terrifying and burning aura escaping—is it the breath of the Ancestor Dragon?
In Carson Flores’ mind, an image ford: behind the giant One-Line Sky Gate, a dragon head so massive its full visage was obscured, lying there, breathing flas terrifyingly through the gate...
The image is rather spine-chilling!
Outside the One-Line Sky Gate, a row of top-level Dragon Clan powerhouses stood. They were the clan leaders of various Dragon branches, teaming up to open the gate.
Then followed nurous teams of fifty, neatly lined up, quietly waiting. In the Azure Dragon Clan’s team were Leighton Matthews, Hugh Matthews, Norah Matthews, and others.
Carson stood among the crowd at the back, watching with other mbers of the Dragon Clan as the clan leaders jointly opened the gate.
The group of clan leaders seed to be discussing sothing, and the atmosphere appeared unpleasant, with an air of tension.
Were these people arguing?
Carson, enjoying the spectacle, secretly speculated whether these Dragon Clan big shots might start fighting.
Unbeknownst to him, the disagreent among the leaders was over his proposal on behalf of the Celestial Palace to the Dragon Clan.
The Azure Dragon King and Black Dragon King agreed, most of the others opposed, unwilling to relinquish the Immortal Fruit from the High Immortal Realm that aids Dragon Clan transformation.
"Let’s just stop the trading if you want to; I’ve managed without those fruits all these years."
"Whether to continue, it’s up to you. Stop arguing; let’s take care of today’s main business first."
"Yes, let’s take care of the main business first."
The Azure Dragon King took out an Array Plate, cast a spell upon it, and golden light burst forth, making it float.
The other clan leaders each took out an Array Plate, performing similarly, and these unorthodox plates soared in the sky, as if magnetically drawn, quickly converging into a giant circular Array Plate.
Each clan leader took out their Clan Leader’s Seal, pressed it onto their palm, and their blood flew from their palm onto the seal. The seal imdiately emitted Blood Light onto the Array Plate.
Blood Light flowed into the Array Plate, which slowly rotated and finally released a massive Blood Light, casting it towards the white mist of the One-Line Sky Gate.
Carson’s eyes glead with excitent at this grand display!
It seed that the clan leaders must each bring out their personally guarded plates, using their Clan Leader’s Seals together to finally activate the plate and open the gate.
This prevented anyone from opening the gate on their own.
With Blood Light casting and mist swirling, the center gradually beca transparent, and the Blood Light gathered together, slowly turning into a shimring surface like a pond.
Blood Light continued to pour in, increasingly thickening, gradually forming a blood-red Light Gate.
"Bang!"
The Blood Light finally stabilized, forming a massive circular area with rippling red light at the center.
The Black Dragon King stabilized the output of Blood Light and shouted, "The One-Line Sky Gate is open, hurry and enter, disciples!"
The disciples of each clan had been waiting in line. Upon hearing the Black Dragon King’s voice, those at the front soared up and swiftly entered the Blood Light, vanishing instantly.
As nurous Dragon Clan disciples rushed into the blood-red Light Gate, the scorching and ominous aura grew more intense and frequent.
The Golden Dragon King stared at the blood-red Light Gate, shouting, "Sothing’s wrong, should we stop?"
The Fire Dragon King snorted, "Your people are in, ours are still waiting to enter."
The Golden Dragon King was at a loss for words, only shouting, "Disciples, hurry up!"
Many disciples accelerated their entry into the Light Gate and the ominous aura suddenly intensified, making everyone feel a cold shiver, as if their hearts couldn’t keep pace.
The blood-red Light Gate began to shake violently, its surface previously shimring like a pond in a gentle breeze, now like a stormy sea with surging waves.
The Azure Dragon King shouted, "Sothing’s wrong; we can’t continue!"
Next to him, the Ice Dragon King shouted, "Just half the team left, hold on!"
As soon as the Ice Dragon King’s voice fell, with a few Ice Dragon disciples rushing into the Light Gate, the fluctuations on the gate peaked.
Blood Light suddenly surged in massive waves, fiercely colliding together, and the entire Light Gate shattered instantly.
The center of the blood-red Light Gate collapsed, and Blood Light swept outward, enveloping everyone at the entrance of the One-Line Sky Gate. A terrifying pull wrapped around each person, dragging them towards the center of the collapsed gate.
