There was an unconscious politeness and closeness in the tone of Selah Ellison Immortal Lord. Her aloofness was an external shell of protection, while her inner being was quite soft.
If it weren’t so, how could she claim to be Carson Flores’ woman?
Samantha Tate’s heartfelt enthusiasm made her unable to maintain her aloofness.

Samantha Tate generously introduced herself, "Samantha Tate, Carson Flores’ little wife!"
Selah Ellison Immortal Lord blinked, "Little wife?"
Samantha Tate laughed, "Yeah, my brother’s original wife is my sister. I joined later, so I call myself the little wife. Of course, that’s just my way of putting it. Actually, my brother is good to everyone, there’s no real difference."
A husband for both sisters?
Selah Ellison Immortal Lord couldn’t help but glance at Carson Flores, her gaze carrying a subtle aning.
Carson Flores couldn’t help but explain, "Cousin! Cousin sister!"
The corners of Selah Ellison Immortal Lord’s mouth turned upward in an amused smile, "I didn’t say anything."
Carson Flores was at a loss for words; she hadn’t spoken, but everything she wanted to say was in that glance.
"Are you done healing?"
"Yes, I was just about to go out for a walk and ran into you. Where are you headed?"
Carson Flores replied, "I’m planning to et with the captured mbers of the Heavenly Alliance, I want to let her rest in my room for a while."
"Co to my room, then, I’m bored by myself. It’s a good chance to get to know Sister Tate. Can I call you Sister Tate?"
Samantha Tate’s eyes sparkled as she nodded with a smile, "Of course, we’re all friends, no need to stand on ceremony."
Selah Ellison Immortal Lord’s mood brightened, even though as a strong practitioner, she was rather tense a mont ago.
Even though she hadn’t considered possessing Carson Flores, she did have her guard up against the usual reaction of a wife. Now she realized she was worrying unnecessarily.
Samantha Tate’s joy and admiration were evident in her eyes. It was clear that she wasn’t hostile to the idea of Selah Ellison becoming Carson Flores’ woman; in fact, she was quite delighted.
Selah Ellison Immortal Lord found it a bit hard to understand, but she let her guard down and prepared to converse with Samantha Tate.
Seeing this, Carson Flores let Samantha Tate go to Selah Ellison Immortal Lord’s room and turned to leave.
Reuniting with Alfred Weaver, both beca more comfortable, as there was no third party around.
Alfred Weaver spoke softly, "Don’t think too much about what my father said earlier, it’s not related to him..."
"How can it not be related?"
Carson Flores laughed, "I took away his most beloved daughter, and I’m like this. With his status and strength, the fact that he didn’t beat up or kick out shows how much he truly loves you and cares about your feelings. He’s probably holding in a bellyful of fire. You should comfort him; otherwise, who knows how long it’ll take for him to feel better again."
Alfred Weaver looked at Carson Flores and smiled, a content expression appearing on his face, "Okay!"
Carson Flores could understand the father, and the father could understand Carson Flores. How great is that!
The two entered the room where the mbers of the Heavenly Alliance were detained. Upon seeing Carson Flores and Alfred Weaver entering, the many guards saluted and looked at Carson Flores with anings they hadn’t before.
Even though they didn’t know the exact nature of the relationship between Carson Flores and Alfred Weaver, they were more impressed by Carson Flores’ recent actions.
Ascending on-site, breaking open the tribulation cloud, representing the Celestial Palace, and reprimanding the Heavenly Alliance, he indeed displayed a great presence.
The captured mbers of the Heavenly Alliance looked at Carson Flores with quite a different gaze.
Among the captives were also high-ranking mbers of the Heavenly Alliance, including the White Cloth Blood Envoy Immortal Monarch of the Four Seas, the Wine-Crazed Independent Practitioner, the Sky-Split Independent Practitioner, and the Black-Faced Lion King, four high-level mbers.
This martial discussion of the Heavenly Profound Continent mainly involved forces from the Heavenly Alliance on the continent; other continents were not involved. Capturing four high-ranking mbers was indeed a significant loss.
If it hadn’t been for Ethereal Pagoda’s final strike, which knocked the bracelet askew, Aydin Hatfield might have rescued everyone.

The Wine-Crazed Independent Practitioner grinned, "Kid, you sure are lucky. We ant to kill you, but you still escaped unscathed, your luck is truly sothing."
Carson Flores smiled, "My luck has always been good."
The Wine-Crazed Independent Practitioner asked, "I don’t want to ask about anything else, but I’m curious; what is your relationship with this suddenly appearing Immortal Monarch?"
Carson Flores smiled, "You sure are curious."
The Wine-Crazed Independent Practitioner nodded, "Yes, I’m usually quite curious. Can you satisfy my curiosity?"
Carson Flores smiled, "Friend."
The Wine-Crazed Independent Practitioner looked skeptical but didn’t say more, just pouted, "Doesn’t seem like it, never mind, forget I asked."
Carson Flores smiled, "Shouldn’t you be more concerned about your own life or death right now? Why worry about things that don’t concern you at all?"
The Wine-Crazed Independent Practitioner laughed heartily, "Being inferior in skills, what is there to say? Since we dare to oppose the Celestial Palace, we are prepared to die. Do you think I should kneel and beg for my life?"
Carson Flores chuckled, "You certainly have backbone, but I’m curious, are all of you so fearless about life and death?"
