All the adventurers in the air hadn’t had ti to understand the surroundings before they were shocked out of their wits by the roar, falling to the ground like dumplings.
The eel-like demonic beast soared into the sky, opening its giant mouth as it lunged toward the falling adventurers.
Seeing this scene left Carson in shock. What was that roar?
The demonic beast’s bloodline divine ability?
Directly forbidding Immortals from using spiritual power, turning them back into ordinary people?
In just the blink of an eye, the eel-like demonic beast had already closed in on several adventurers closest to it, opening its mouth wide, ready to bite at them.
The adventurers’ bodies suddenly erupted with light. Although they couldn’t use spiritual power temporarily, who wasn’t wearing a magic robe or carrying a defense talisman? Many had defense treasures that would automatically activate a defense barrier.

The teeth broke through the defense barrier and continued to clamp down, penetrating the Immortals’ bodies, which were impervious to blades and flas, deeply piercing into them.

The Immortals who fell into the beast’s mouth were instantly ground into small pieces of flesh, swallowed directly into its stomach.
Seeing this, all the adventurers were terrified out of their minds, scrambling to save themselves, brandishing magical treasures or ripping open talismans, desperately trying to distance themselves from the terrifying beast.
Carson and his four companions had entered the Light Gate together and ended up almost in the sa position, so they were close to each other.
The five of them were all falling downward, but though Carson was shocked, he wasn’t panicked.
The Ethereal Pagoda was still there.
The beast’s divine skill might render them unable to use spiritual power, but Carson didn’t believe it could seal the Tower World or Delarosa!
Using their montum from falling, the group descended from the sky, quickly distancing themselves from the beast.
Their position was relatively far from the others. The eel-like demonic beast was frenziedly biting and swallowing the falling adventurers. So adventurers managed to quickly escape using talismans or other thods, but many were caught off guard and t their end in the beast’s mouth.
Who could have expected their spiritual power to suddenly beco unusable?
While Immortals had powerful bodies capable of splitting mountains with a punch, they were of no use against such a beast.
How could the massive strength of that beast be comparable to a cultivator who had lost spiritual power?
Carson and his group fell like teors, and just as they were about to hit the ground, Carson was preparing to summon the Ethereal Pagoda when the frozen spiritual power in his body suddenly loosened.

Carson’s body suddenly slowed and then began to hover in mid-air.

The adventurer who was calling out to kill the beast saw no response from others, and with reddened eyes, he quickly fled too.
Angry as he was, who wants to die?
Carson weaved through the dense forest, glancing back at the distant sky, watching as the beast leisurely swam back into the mountains after finishing its attack.
The attack thus drew to a close, yet at least a third of the adventurers teleported here had t their end in the beast’s mouth.
It seems that the roar that forbids spiritual power isn’t usable without limit; otherwise, far more than just this many would have died.
