As soon as Carson Flores stepped into the passage, he felt a blur before his eyes and his heart skipped a beat, thinking he had stepped onto a dead end.
After the dizziness in the blink of an eye, Carson’s vision cleared, and he found himself standing on the ground, with no attacks around him, in utter silence.
What’s going on?
Carson instinctively reached out to touch himself, confirming that he seed to be okay.
He turned his head and imdiately showed a look of astonishnt.
Behind him was a rather short stone passage, with the end visible at a glance. At the end of the passage, Brodie Fleming was watching him gravely.
Carson was startled and quickly waved at Brodie Fleming: "Elder, I’m fine, I chose correctly, this is the way out. Co quickly!"

Carson nodded: "If the tomb’s owner really intended this, and wasn’t testing our patience, then that’s likely how it is."

The tomb owner was long gone, what patience was there to test?
