Standing in the vast space, everyone glanced around, unable to make a decision for a mont because the space contained nurous doors that looked exactly the sa.
Each door was a Teleportation Gate, but what lay beyond, no one knew!
All eyes fell once again on the Son of Destiny, Mack Conley, who suddenly felt an enormous pressure.
"I was wrong earlier, leading you all into a dead end where we nearly perished and couldn’t get out. Do you still trust ?"
Carson Flores smiled slightly, "There’s a saying: ’Heaven’s will is hard to defy.’ The fact that we ca out alive from a dead end might just be a stroke of luck. Maybe the path you chose was indeed wrong, but how do you know that choosing wrongly wasn’t a part of destiny?"
Callan Mason laughed, "Right, choosing another path and we still wouldn’t know what kind of situation we’d face. Regardless of what we encounter, the important thing is we’re all safe now, no one was lost, no one was injured. That’s the best outco, so I believe your decision wasn’t wrong."
Ben Singleton laughed, "Even though I joined the team late, I think what they’re saying makes a lot of sense. This is fate, and as the Son of Destiny, you’re the one who controls fate. Following you is definitely the right choice!"
Mack Conley’s heart surged with emotion. Although he could think of these things himself, the fact that no one blad him even in the most desperate monts deeply moved him.
If these people and I were one family, or fellow disciples of the sa Sect, that would be wonderful. No division among us, sharing hardships, without intrigue, supporting each other to advance together—how great would that be!
"Thank you all, I really don’t know what to say..."
"No need to say it, just choose another path!"
Carson Flores interrupted Mack Conley’s words with a smile and pointed forward, "If the previous choice was a fifty-fifty, now it’s a one-in-five. We still trust your luck, go ahead, choose one?"
Mack Conley looked around, at the spacious bluestone hall in front of him, there were five identical doors with a passageway leading deeper into the tomb.
Having experienced that space-folding technique earlier, no one would believe that the road was the true path. Clearly, the doors looked the sa, but the roads behind might be worlds apart.
Mack Conley felt a bit unsure, "Do I really have to choose?"
Callan Mason laughed, "Yes, you see, even the entrance is blocked now. We have no way back and can only move forward. If we had to choose blindly, none of us would have luck better than yours. If your choice fails, then ours definitely wouldn’t have been right."
Carson Flores nodded in agreent, "Yes, a one-in-five chance—if you can’t pick the right one, then it’s even less likely for us to choose correctly. I don’t believe anyone can beat the Son of Destiny. What do you think, Ben Singleton?"
Ben Singleton was watching the scene unfold without expecting Carson Flores to suddenly shift the focus onto him. He paused for a mont, then grinned, "Yes, I think Daoist Flores is right. If you can’t choose correctly, then there’s no hope for us. Choose, and no matter what, we’ll face it together as teammates. Since we trust you, we won’t bla you whether it’s right or wrong."
Carson Flores squinted, eyeing the smiling Ben Singleton with a subtle, complex feeling.
He was already certain there was sothing off about Ben Singleton and also certain that his strength was formidable, which left him puzzled.
Was he really relying on Mack Conley’s luck?
Wasn’t the escape from the secret room earlier found by Ben Singleton?
Was it really Mack Conley’s luck or Ben Singleton’s extraordinary skill?
If it were the forr, then why was the exit found by Ben Singleton? If it were the latter, what kind of power would one need to break open the seal left by Emperor Howard?
After all, Emperor Howard was the Great Land Pri Immortal!
Thinking of this gave Carson Flores a hair-raising feeling.
He originally thought he was the most hidden one among the group, but compared to now, he suddenly felt that Ben Singleton was the truly hidden one!
If not for Ben Singleton having taken the Heavenly Oath and Carson’s true form being in the Ethereal Pagoda, he’d have turned and fled to get far away from Ben Singleton!

Mack Conley, under everyone’s gaze, scanned around before finally pointing to the second entrance on the left.
"I choose this one!"
As all eyes converged, Mack Conley panicked a bit, "I just picked randomly, I really don’t know what’s behind it..."
Everyone looked at the second door, their expressions subtle.
They chose to trust Mack Conley, but could it be that the Son of Destiny would never be wrong, or never face death?
Rather than saying they trusted Mack Conley, it might be more accurate to say they distrusted themselves more than him.

They didn’t believe they could pick the one-in-five slot. Given that, they submitted to the Son of Destiny’s choice!
Taking a different path from the Son of Destiny, well, simply making that choice was hard enough.
Defying fate?
"Let’s go!"
With no retreat, the only option was to move forward!
Since they believed Mack Conley was the Son of Destiny, they staked everything on this gamble!
Carson Flores scanned Ben Singleton and saw his calm deanor without a hint of worry.
This calm? Not afraid at all?
