Though both Carson and Lucas White knew they would be separated randomly upon entering the Secret Realm, Carson didn’t invite Lucas to enter the pagoda, and Lucas didn’t bring it up either.
In this matter, both of them had an unspoken understanding, or rather, they were both keeping their boundaries.
Unless absolutely undeniable, who would entrust their life into the hands of another?
The two of them continued on their journey, soon returning to the mountain gate of Green Bird City.
Lucas White walked confidently forward, and the disciple guarding the gate smiled when he saw Lucas White, "Back so soon?"
Lucas White replied in Gabriel Lozano’s voice, "Luckily, I found two good items. It went smoothly, so I returned quickly."
Lucas White chatted calmly with the gatekeeping disciple for a few monts, then reached the barrier. He pulled out a token representing a disciple of Green Bird City, which released a gleaming light, sketching the outline of a door on the gate screen. The light within the door quickly faded, turning nearly transparent.
Lucas White stepped forward, walking through the nearly transparent Light Gate, entering the mountain gate.
Carson followed behind Lucas, mimicking his actions, and also smoothly passed through the mountain gate.
The two walked side by side, naturally heading toward Gabriel Lozano’s Cave Mansion.
Being at the Great Perfection of Hollow Void, Gabriel Lozano had already secured his own independent Cave Mansion in the Outer Sect, and it was situated in a relatively pri location.
Along the way, they frequently encountered Sect’s Disciples, many of whom greeted them proactively. Lucas White handled each encounter with ease, as if he weren’t an imposter at all, but the genuine Gabriel Lozano.
Carson followed behind Lucas, watching him greet and converse with everyone. Inside, he was quite nervous, knowing full well that Lucas was entering for the first ti and didn’t know anyone. All the conversations relied on guesswork and quick thinking.
After a few close calls, they arrived safely at the Cave Mansion’s entrance. Lucas was already familiar with the formation that Gabriel Lozano had set up and easily disard the protective formation before entering.
After inspecting the Cave Mansion to ensure there were no hidden dangers, Lucas White sat down on a stone stool and said with a smile, "Alright, now we just wait here until we depart."
Both of them sat cross-legged for ditation and contemplation.
In the evening, a woman’s voice suddenly ca from outside the Cave Mansion: "Senior Brother Gabriel, are you there?"
Lucas White opened his eyes and signaled Carson not to respond.
The woman called out twice more, receiving no response from either of them. However, in the next mont, the protective formation suddenly opened, and the woman’s figure appeared at the east entrance, walking toward the house.
