841: Chapter 841: Not Very Old, But Quite Crafty!
The Emperor Seal, to the naked eye, was rely an ordinary Dark Seal.
After Carson Flores obtained the Emperor Seal, he played with it nurous tis, but the Seal showed no reaction.
He even once tried to cut it with his Flying Sword to test its material and ended up hurt by its murderous aura, nearly dying on the spot.
Later, during the Defense of White Wave City, it was with the Seal that Carson managed a miraculous counterkill and narrowly escaped death.
Because of its terrifying backlash, Carson dared not test it vigorously, fearing that a slight mishap might end up costing him his life.
Carson sat quietly, cross-legged, the words of the Emperor’s Sutra Human Scroll echoing in his mind, sounding grand and resonant, reverberating through heaven and earth.
At the sa ti, a majestic and inviolable aura gradually enveloped him, as if bearing divine authority.
Carson gritted his teeth and cast a spell on the Emperor Seal.
To his delight, he felt the presence of the Emperor Seal for the first ti!
He had actually established a spiritual connection with the Emperor Seal!
The Emperor’s Sutra truly was effective!
Until now, most Cultivation Techniques practiced by people were derived from the Emperor Sovereign Scripture, yet distinct from it.
Could this be why they were unable to activate the Emperor Seal or gain its recognition?
Could it be that only by using the Emperor Sovereign Scripture can one operate the Emperor Seal?
Carson continued to experint but was disappointed to find that while he could establish a connection and control the Emperor Seal as freely as one would control a flying sword, that was all he could do.
He was unable to truly control the Emperor Seal.
Since he could establish a connection, did that an he was on the right path?
Was his inability to truly control it because he was only using the Emperor’s Sutra Human Scroll and had not yet unified the three scrolls of Heaven, Earth, and Human?
Carson studied the Emperor’s Sutra Earth Scroll and gained so insight.
However, upon looking at the Emperor’s Sutra Heaven Scroll, he was utterly confused.
rely pondering over this, Carson spent a month with little progress.
Carson eventually gave up temporarily.
In a month’s ti, he had cultivated a batch of Spiritual dicine.
Carson harvested all the Spiritual dicine, leaving so for his mother to aid her cultivation and left her Ten Million Spirit Stones.
Later, Carson visited Delaney Hunter once more.
Although the Tomb of the Demon Emperor turned out to be a trap, the information she provided about Blissful Bird Blood being resistant to poison was indeed true.
Carson promised to help her with her revenge; even his senior brother had promised that he would kill the Fox Wolf as long as there was information on him.
As the leader of the Blood Shadow Assassins, Fox Wolf’s true identity was a mystery, and his whereabouts were elusive.
Delaney Hunter couldn’t locate him for the ti being, so the matter had to be set aside temporarily.
Carson told Delaney Hunter to focus on her cultivation peacefully.
Even if they could not find Fox Wolf now, there would always be an opportunity.
No matter how long it took, he would help her achieve her goal.
Carson was grateful to Delaney Hunter.
Without her, he wouldn’t have been able to pick Enlightennt Fruits, sell spring water for Spirit Stones, et his father, or obtain the Emperor’s Sutra Heaven Scroll.
Having made a promise, Carson would definitely fulfill it.
Finally, Carson went to see Delaney Hunter.
“Senior sister, I’m getting ready to leave.
Before I go, I wanted to ask about Sword Bone Tempering—that is, how should I proceed to enhance myself afterward?”
Delaney Hunter handed a Jade Slip to Carson.
“This slip contains detailed knowledge about Sword Bone Tempering.
Once you’ve read it, you’ll understand.
If… I an, if you encounter True Dragon Blood in the True Dragon Secret Realm, rember not to forget to use it to temper your entire body’s Sword Bones.
The boost will be trendous.”
“Okay!”
Delaney Hunter adjusted Carson’s collar with both hands, advising him softly, “Be careful out there.
Don’t take unnecessary risks.
Safety cos first.
Don’t worry about your mother; I will make sure she is well taken care of.”
Carson stepped forward and embraced Delaney Hunter.
“Thank you, senior sister.
You are so virtuous.
I don’t know which man will benefit from that in the future.”
Delaney Hunter slapped Carson on the back, laughing scoldingly, “You’re always hugging randomly, taking advantage of your senior sister.
What if your future wife saw this?
She’d flip out!”
Carson grinned, “She’d have to call you sister too.”
Delaney Hunter huffed, pushing Carson away and poking him on the forehead.
“You young rascal, you’ve quite the cunning mind for your age!”
Carson chuckled and went to the doorway, turning his head, “I left so clothes in the room.
Try them out and see if you like them.”
“Clothes?”
Before Delaney Hunter could react, Carson had already run off, his face bearing a mischievous grin.
Intuition told Delaney Hunter this was no simple matter.
She returned to the room and saw a pile of paper bags containing clothes.
So bags held beautiful dresses, but others contained various styles of lingerie and nightgowns.
Delaney Hunter’s face flushed red instantly.
This youngster!
Sending a dress was one thing, but to dare give her personal wear too, no wonder he had that sly smile.
Is his skin itching for a beating?
She had to give him a good thrashing the next ti, but still, the clothes felt so comfortable and beautiful.
Worn on a woman, they would surely look and feel wonderful…
Forget it.
Since it was well-intentioned, she’d go easier on him next ti.
