Several elders within the Beggar Gang greatly opposed He Yichong and the Righteous Martial Army he had ford.
Hearing that the Old Sect Leader intended for the Beggar Gang to also be deed as "traitors" by the Martial World, they firmly resisted.
But the Old Sect Leader’s stance was firm — with Hulu invaders trampling on their doorstep, if the people of the Martial World could not unite to defend the Central Plains, then the Central Plains would indeed be in peril.

Before his passing, he entrusted the New Beggar Gang to He Yichong and his wife.
He Yichong, being the commander of the Righteous Martial Army, had nearly stepped fully into official service and was not suitable to lead any Martial World faction.
Thus, his wife, Tian Dan, beca the new Gang Leader.
While He Yichong built his reputation and his wife followed him, Kang Yimo was not so fortunate.
He continued his adventures in the Itinerant World.
But the Itinerant World is full of dangers, and due to so misunderstandings, he clashed with Wuyou Island, ultimately dying in the island’s Serpent Array, leaving behind only his wife and son.
At the ti, He Yichong was still in Hu Yang’s military; receiving the news, he was unable to leave imdiately, so he asked Tian Dan to make arrangents for his Junior Brother’s orphaned child.
Coincidentally, Tian Dan was pregnant at the ti and couldn’t travel thousands of miles, so she arranged for disciples of the New Beggar Gang to help.
However, in those chaotic tis, Kang Yimo’s wife, being an ordinary woman who knew neither Martial Arts nor the customs of the Itinerant World and only knew that her husband had offended people, feared retaliation and hid with her young son in a small mountain village.
The mother and son truly suffered a lot.
Later, Hu Yang died in battle, the Hu Family Army disbanded, and the disciples of the New Beggar Gang finally located the mother and son.

He Yichong was ridden with guilt, but Tian Dan felt sowhat uneasy.
Originally, she could not personally search for the Kang mother and son due to her pregnancy, but she had still exerted effort, resulting in a premature birth.
