Erni frowned and looked at Chun Gui.
Chun Gui was the young widow from the Gui Family who was rescued from the border by Yang Ruxin. Chun Gui poured another cup and handed it over.
Sanni had already realized that her earlier reaction was a bit too intense.
anwhile, Erni had feared that her sister might impulsively say sothing earlier, relieved now that Chun Gui had stopped her sister, she looked at Wei Yao in surprise, “Sister Wei, why are you dressed like this?”
“Xuexue, I need to see Xinxin.” Wei Yao was filled with guilt but couldn’t say anything more.
“My elder sister went to Beijing.” Erni frowned, “It’s the birthday celebration of the Imperial Concubine, my elder sister had to enter the palace with our family to offer congratulations… She’s been gone for more than ten days…”
“Beijing?” Wei Yao’s expression changed slightly, “When will she be back?”
Erni shook her head, “I don’t know, probably at the end of the month or early next month.” She paused, “My brother-in-law got promoted,”
Wei Yao couldn’t help but look at Yu Qingge.

“Then I’ll go to Beijing to find her.” Wei Yao pondered montarily and made her decision.
“Are you crazy?” Erni frowned, “Beijing is so far…”
“Xuexue, I can’t explain the details, but I’m facing a huge problem now, or rather sothing that could cost my life, only Xinxin can help …” Wei Yao sighed, “Actually… never mind, I have to see her, talk about things from back then…”
“Going to Beijing, I’ll go with you.” Upon hearing this, Yu Qingge’s eyes lit up, “I have nothing to do anyway and haven’t been to Beijing…”
“You’re joining the nonsense too?” Erni was distressed.
“Going to Beijing is nonsense?” Yu Qingge laughed, “Besides, Wei Yao ran away from ho, you’d be worried if she went alone, right? If I go with her, at least there are experts around for protection, safety won’t be an issue…”

Ceng Dong was brought back from Hangzhou by Yang Ruxin, and back then she was already with Yu Qingge in Hangzhou, later on, Yang Ruxin straightforwardly assigned her directly to Yu Qingge.
Feeling helpless, Erni could only arrange for Wei Yao and her maid Qiqiao to stay in a guest room.

“Only the people within the family think they’re clever, treating others as fools.” Wei Yao sneered, estimating that their counterattack plan was already devised.
