"This must not be taken lightly," insisted Madam Cui.
Upon returning to the Duke Residence, the doctor was already waiting. After taking the pulse, he found nothing serious, just a cold, and so excessive worrying. He advised plenty of rest and prescribed three doses of dicine...
Madam Cui watched Cui Fangfang drink the dicine and fall asleep before she left Tingfang Academy.
However, when the room was empty, the supposedly sleeping Cui Fangfang suddenly opened her eyes. Yang Dani, why are you everywhere? I’ve barely escaped the quagmire of the Yang Family and beco a high-ranking lady of the Duke Residence. I won’t allow anyone to ruin this!
If anyone were to co over at this mont, they might be startled by Cui Fangfang’s expression. So young, yet her gaze was terrifyingly fierce, her entire face twisted, looking extrely nacing.
Yet, despite her hatred, Cui Fangfang knew she was no match for Yang Dani. How could she ensure her own position and make sure Yang Ruxin couldn’t do anything to her?
She needed a strong ally, soone more powerful than Yang Ruxin and Gu Qingheng.
But who could be more powerful than them?
The first person the young girl thought of was the Emperor, but she had no way of eting him. She wasn’t even qualified to attend the upcoming palace banquet, so gaining the Emperor’s favor as her ally was unlikely.
Next were the various Princes.
But she had no ans to et them either, and more importantly, she didn’t know which Prince held a grudge against Yang Ruxin.
Thinking it over, Cui Fangfang couldn’t co up with a reliable ally and felt rather discouraged.
Suddenly, she rembered an incident at the Lake Heart Pavilion. It seed that Zuo Qingqing didn’t like Yang Ruxin because Fangfang had noticed her glaring at Yang Ruxin several tis. Then there was Peng Jing, whose attitude seed quite strange as well, so could she start with them?
With this thought, Cui Fangfang suddenly smiled. Yang Ruxin, Yang Dani, dear cousin, it was you who ca to obstruct first. So, whatever I do to you in the future, it’s your own fault.
Yang Ruxin had just returned to Hengxin Pavilion and hadn’t even settled in when she sneezed twice in a row.
"Madam, have you caught a cold?" Lun Yi quickly asked.
"No," Yang Ruxin sniffed, "It must be soone cursing ."
Lun Yi’s mouth twitched: "How can you be sure of that?"
"Why wouldn’t I be sure? It’s very accurate," Yang Ruxin replied seriously, widening her eyes. "Anyway, my instincts are always spot on."
"Haha," Lun Yi couldn’t help but laugh.
That evening, Yang Ruxin originally intended to tell Gu Qingheng about Daya’s matters, but she waited late into the night and still didn’t see him return.
Yang Ruxin felt her eyelid twitch, as if sothing might happen. She hurried to find Shadow Three: "Did the General send any ssage back?"
Gu Di shook her head: "I just sent soone to inquire, madam don’t worry, maybe he’s tied up with sothing..."
Yang Ruxin said nothing more, instead, she closed her eyes to carefully sense things. Because the two of them shared a Heart Poisonous Insect, their hearts were connected. But soon she opened her eyes, her expression had softened: "There’s no danger, but there’s trouble." She stood up, "Let’s go and see."
Gu Di’s eyes flickered, madam was becoming more and more miraculous, no, she was becoming more and more in tune with the General.
