This Eunuch Shui is actually Eunuch Ping’s adopted son, considered the Emperor’s second confidant.

The civil and military officials were roughly divided into three camps: those who agreed, those who disagreed, and those who were neutral.

When Yang Ruxin arrived at the entrance of the main hall, the debates inside, for and against, were so intense that it could be heard clearly from outside.

No one noticed that the Emperor on the dragon throne suddenly closed his eyes and turned his head to one side, as if unable to bear witnessing such a lantable scene.
Among the Court Officials, so closed their eyes, while others laughed gleefully.
