The n were catching up, so Yang Ruxin didn’t get involved, and in the end, she and Yu Qingge went shopping together.
Gu Qingheng wasn’t worried about his wife at all. After all, if they really encountered trouble, it wasn’t certain who’d end up unlucky. Nonetheless, he still had Gu Qiao and Gu Can accompany them.

"The three delicacies of Taian: cabbage, tofu water, and pancakes," Yang Ruxin chuckled, "but those are from later tis. I’m not sure about the current specialties, but being near the mountain, it’s probably rare stone and mountain produce."
Yu Qingge didn’t ask any more questions; she had rely asked out of curiosity and wasn’t genuinely interested in buying anything.
Nevertheless, they did see a stall selling Mount Tai pancakes, available in sweet and savory varieties—crispy pancakes, in fact.
Since they spotted it, they naturally couldn’t miss out, so Yu Qingge bought one for each person, munching as they walked.

However, they couldn’t refuse nor throw it away, so they reluctantly took a bite. To their surprise, it tasted quite good.

Gu Qiao and Gu Can instantly shielded Yang Ruxin and the others, while Xuxu and Chai Qin adopted defensive stances.
Yang Ruxin looked up; it was Tang Kun, and she couldn’t help but frown: "Sect Leader Tang, long ti no see."
Yu Qingge quickly lowered her head, hiding behind Xuxu. She hadn’t expected to encounter Tang Kun on this trip, or rather, she had long forgotten about him, never expecting to et here, especially without her mask.

But Tang Kun stepped sideways to block their path.
"Tang Kun, what exactly do you want?" Yang Ruxin’s expression turned cold.
"Madam Gu, if you don’t mind, I’d like to see this young lady’s face," Tang Kun’s eyes flashed with nace.
"And what if I refuse?" Yang Ruxin slightly raised an eyebrow.
"Then don’t bla for being rude." Tang Kun snorted coldly.
"Fine." Yang Ruxin nodded, handed Yu Qingge to Xuxu, then stepped forward, "Let’s see just how rude you, Sect Leader Tang, can be. Besides, I have so scores to settle about your last attempt on my life. So people really don’t know when to quit."
Tang Kun’s brow furrowed deeply, "You’re courting death!" As he spoke, he suddenly raised his hand to strike Yang Ruxin’s head. This place wasn’t Beijing, nor was it the General Residence; it wasn’t a place where Yang Ruxin could act recklessly.
Yu Qingge couldn’t help but cry out in alarm.
But just as Tang Kun struck, Gu Qiao dashed forward, clashing palms with him. There was a loud bang as both were pushed back. Tang Kun was forced back four steps, while Gu Qiao only retreated three.
