However, custom dictated that unmarried won and pregnant people could not participate in tomb-sweeping, so in the end, it was Yang Baixiang along with Dong Wenxiu bringing Erni, Gu Yao, and Xiaofeng to the graves.
Additionally, Du Chengxiu and his wife accompanied them, so Yang Ruxin wasn’t worried about anything happening.
