"Erm... I succeeded?" Shen Mo paused for a mont when he saw the notification.
When he first entered the Jade Pool Dungeon, to achieve better cultivation results, he had used all 260 Destiny Points accumulated previously to upgrade his Talent.
The process hadn’t been smooth; it took nearly 200 Destiny Points to raise [Genius (Blue)] to [The Chosen (Purple)].
During cultivation, the Spiritual Qi felt more vibrant and familiar, and the speed of refining Mana had also increased significantly.
Practicing magic, his understanding and mastery beca even more profound than before.
Shen Mo experienced similar sensations each ti he upgraded his Talent.
The feeling of progressing from a diocre talent to one of The Chosen was truly intoxicating.
However, upgrading his Basic Talent to the Orange level in the future wouldn’t be so easy... Each attempt would cost 100 Destiny Points!
Therefore, Shen Mo used the remaining points to upgrade his other Basic Destinies.
This ti, he successfully raised his Basic Destiny, Appearance, from [Dignified (Green)] to [Handso (Blue)].
His facial features hadn’t changed drastically. The changes were nowhere near as significant as when Shen Mo used the Three-Heads Six-Arms True Immortal Technique to alter his appearance!
The corners of his eyes tilted upwards by a re hair’s breadth, his nasal bridge beca slightly more prominent, and his posture subtly improved... These nurous, minute changes harmonized perfectly together.
This elevated his entire aura to a higher level!
This was different from how the True Immortal Technique altered one’s appearance and soul.
This transformation, much like an Innate Divine Ability, was an enhancent engraved into his very bloodline and soul.
Thus, Shen Mo no longer had to worry that his descendants would only inherit his previously unremarkable appearance.
After entering the Jade Pool Dungeon, Shen Mo could only rely on cultivation, Martial Performance, Alchemy, and making talismans to obtain Destiny Points, which were relatively difficult to acquire.
Fortunately, his period of seclusion had been long enough for him to accumulate another 150 Destiny Points.
Subsequently, he used these newly gained points on Vitality, Luck, Appearance, and Wisdom—these four Basic Destinies.
The results were clear: Shen Mo had most wanted to upgrade his Vitality, which remained [Dragonlike Body (Blue)]; instead, it was his Luck that had successfully advanced.

The points are all used up for now. When I save up more, I’ll first upgrade Wisdom to Blue quality.
A long ti ago, Shen Mo had already made this plan.
I should try not to let any Basic Destiny beco too prominent or lag too far behind, to avoid unexpected complications.
There had been many such examples in the cultivation world.
For instance, soone with excellent Talent but diocre Wisdom might be treated as cannon fodder and sched against until their death.
Soone blessed with great Luck but average Talent might only enjoy worldly riches like a mundane emperor, unable to progress in cultivation.
Or soone with an exceptionally refined appearance, yet ordinary in all other aspects, might end up as a re plaything for so powerful figure in the cultivation world...
In addition, I can also try upgrading the Special Destinies that I use quite often!
In the past year, the Special Destinies Shen Mo had used most were undoubtedly [Martial Performance (Blue)], [Examine (Purple)] (Monster Identify), [Bright Vision (Blue)], [Danger Perception (Green)], and [Adventure (Green)].
The Special Destinies he had originally drawn, such as [Courage (White)] and [Bull’s Mighty (Green)], weren’t used much.
Perhaps upgrading them one by one would yield much better effects, but the panel only has two equippable slots!

I can only choose which Special Destiny to equip based on the situation... It feels like I’d be spreading myself too thin if I acquired too many. If their potential is average, investing a lot of Destiny Points into them isn’t very useful at the mont.
Take [Bull’s Mighty (Green)], for example. It had been a great help to Shen Mo when he was still weak, making his vitality surpass that of sa-rank cultivators. However, with the advancent of his Realm and the increasing profundity of his external cultivation thod, the boost from this Green Special Destiny had beco almost imperceptible.
It’s foreseeable that even if I upgrade it to Blue, the boost it gives will be far less than improving [Danger Perception (Green)]. As for [Courage (White)], I reckon that, aside from the great terror between life and death, nothing else can shake my Path Heart or make feel fear now. Of course, I’m judging the potential of these Special Destinies with my current perspective and experience. Who can say for sure what will happen in a hundred or a thousand years? Perhaps when I cultivate to the Golden Core Realm, or even build the Divine Bridge, things far more terrifying than life and death will erge. By then, [Courage (White)] will have its use! Then again, in a few hundred or a thousand years, I might have tens of thousands of Destiny Points to spare; it wouldn’t be too late to upgrade it then. With the marvels of the Destiny Panel, it surely wouldn’t offer an utterly useless Special Destiny in the Destiny Pool! If I have any points left over, I could try the Destiny Pool a few more tis. It would be good to draw a suitable Special Destiny, even if just as a backup. Moreover, if I could draw an Orange or Gold Special Destiny, it would be a huge boost to my strength! Looking at the array of powerful Special Destinies in the Destiny Pool, I’m quite expectant. However, I’ve drawn from the Destiny Pool so many tis that I’ve figured out its patterns. If I’m lucky enough to draw an Orange or Gold Special Destiny, the cost for subsequent draws will no longer be a fixed 10 Destiny Points but will skyrocket to 100. So, I’m in a dilemma. I don’t know if it’s better to draw an Orange or Gold Special Destiny sooner, or if it’s better to keep drawing more Special Destinies at the 10-Destiny Point cost for a while longer! It’s no use mulling over it now; I only have 7 Destiny Points left anyway. Besides, the quality of the Special Destiny I draw isn’t up to .
