Now reading: Chapter 486: Dramatic Changes in the World (Part 7)1 from The First Immortal of Destiny, a Eastern novel by Walking alone in loneliness.

Without delay, Shen Mo acted on a thought, taking several Healing Pills from his Universe Bag.

Under the imnse pressure of the sea, the pill bottles shattered instantly.

At this point, he could hardly even form a water-repelling seal. He could only let it be, opening his mouth to suck in the shattered bottle fragnts along with the elixirs, chewed them up, and swallowed them down!

After all, he possessed the Spirit Devouring Skill. So, not to ntion pill bottles made of jade, in desperate circumstances, he could even swallow magma and draw nature’s spiritual energy from it.

As the elixirs entered his stomach, Shen Mo began to silently operate the Three-Heads Six-Arms True Immortal Technique, gradually repairing his broken Dao Body from the inside out!

The extra head and arms on his left side were withdrawn back into his Dao Body. At this mont, every bit of his blood essence primality was precious; there was no need to maintain a multiple-headed and multi-ard state!

The crushed bone fragnts were gradually expelled from his body. Where the bones had originally been, new bones generated from his blood essence primality, supporting his body, which resembled soft mud. The missing right side of his Dao Body showed even more direct and obvious changes.

The blood essence primality, like fetal blood during infancy, continuously proliferated. Bone marrow grew bit by bit, and before long, a skeleton, white and jade-like in texture, appeared on his right side. As bones of various sizes took shape, Flesh and Blood, skin, nerves, fascia, and other tissues began to regrow and cover them.

The sight was so shocking it would probably scare any mortal to death. Even cultivators with a high Realm would be stunned upon witnessing this scene.

Generally speaking, with such injuries, it would be extraordinarily fortunate to rely survive; one would expect to live the rest of their life in such a crippled state. Never before had anyone heard of an entire half of a body being destroyed and then regenerated... This was naturally thanks to the True Immortal Magic. In the Red Fla Zone, there was likely no other cultivation thod that could surpass it for repairing the Dao Body!

After his Dao Body was rebuilt into a humanoid form, Shen Mo started to reorganize his internal Chakra while healing most of his organs, many of which had already begun to decay.

Days later, the injuries on Shen Mo’s Dao Body were generally no longer a hindrance.

Imdiately, he did not linger in the magma. With a thought, he summoned the Demon Slaying Sword, cut an exit, and rode his escaping light out from the volcano’s depths.

I’ve only just reached the Near Sea, yet I encountered the Heaven Patrolling Boat and the Four-eyed Giant—two unfortunate events.

I wonder if similar situations occurred elsewhere?

As soon as Shen Mo burst out of the sea, he took out a Sound Transmission Talisman and glanced at it. Previously, to protect his Identity Token, Sound Transmission Talisman, and other items from destruction, Shen Mo had stowed them in his Universe Bag.

In the undersea volcano, separated by thick layers of magma and seawater, the talisman’s transmission ability seed to be affected.

But now, though he had clearly left the deep sea and erged on the water’s surface, he found the Sound Transmission Talisman still wouldn’t work properly!

That’s strange. Could it have been affected by this recent upheaval?

After his injuries had mostly healed, Shen Mo noticed subtle changes in nature’s spiritual energy. It seed to carry an extra rotten sll and an indescribable, murky Demonic Qi.

His five senses and spiritual sense also detected anomalies.

It seed as if many indescribable and inexplicable things had been stuffed into this world, making it more vibrant, or perhaps, more accurately, increasingly multifaceted and complex! A gut feeling told him this was not purely a bad thing; it was as if the heavens and earth had suddenly beco broader. For any creature, the path of cultivation now held many more possibilities! However, it wasn’t purely a blessing. His feeling was akin to leaving a safe mountain path and venturing into a wilderness teeming with beasts and traps!

When his Sound Transmission Talisman failed, Shen Mo took out a conch. This item was also a sound transmission magic treasure; the other one was in the hands of Clam Girl Ming Yu.

Its effect was much stronger than the talisman’s, allowing contact even when Ming Yu was within The Smallest Space...

However, Shen Mo had miscalculated this ti!

Even after activating the power of the Sound Transmission Conch, he still couldn’t contact Ming Yu.

After a mont of thought, he imdiately executed the Ascending Cloud Immortal thod, transforming into a faint golden rainbow and flying towards Dingbo City in Sea State!

When passing the Near Sea Demon Cave, he used his Flawless Dharma Eye and sense to observe the tragic state of the demon heads, both large and small. Half of the Demon Cave had been stomped deep into the seabed. Countless Heavenly Demons were reduced to pulp, and demonic blood, resembling a thick, oily substance, had dyed hundreds of miles of the sea region black, continuously emanating Demonic Qi.

Shen Mo was unaware that the "leaf" this world resided on had separated from its contact with the "leaf" of the Heavenly Demon Realm.

Therefore, he was puzzled. The Demon Cave was directly connected to the Heavenly Demon Realm, so why wouldn’t the Heavenly Demons inside retreat to the Outer Zone to avoid the Four-eyed Giant, instead choosing to linger in the Red Fla Zone?

Little did he know that these Heavenly Demons, including a Big Heavenly Demon of Class IV, had discovered early on that the passage between the two realms had been severed. They couldn’t return to the Outer Zone. Hence, they had no choice but to desperately defend the Near Sea Demon Cave, resulting in even a Class IV Big Heavenly Demon being squashed into pulp by the Four-eyed Giant!

That Demon-corrupted mber of the Marine Race hadn’t possessed Shen Mo’s life-preserving cultivation thods or Skills and thus perished on the spot.

Then again, if Shen Mo had been trampled instead of being kicked away and turned into a pile of rotten at, his [Rebirth from the Residual Body] Skill might not necessarily have worked.

Furthermore, the world where the Heavenly Demon Realm existed, due to its deep entanglent with this world, had also drifted down from the Universe Tree.

Perhaps, one day, powerful demon heads would still descend from the Outer Zone.

After investigating the current situation of the Near Sea Demon Cave, Shen Mo’s escaping light continued unabated as he journeyed towards Dingbo City.

At this ti, a large number of low-class Heavenly Demons in the Sea State region were still in chaos, buzzing around like countless headless flies!

However, Shen Mo didn’t see any evidence of the Four-eyed Giant rampaging. It had supposedly co from the west and headed east but hadn’t trampled Sea State. It was unclear where it had erged from.

Upon entering Dingbo City, Shen Mo learned that not only had Sound Transmission Talismans failed, but the Teleportation Arrays in various locations were also unusable.

They could still be operated, but they failed to teleport to their intended destinations. As for where the cultivators within those arrays had been sent, no one currently knew.

In any case, the Spirit Sea Realm experts within Dingbo City had personally visited many strongholds but hadn’t found any of the teleported cultivators!

"Have all the Golden Core Realm patriarchs in the city, including Patriarch Zhou, left?" Shen Mo asked, his eyebrows slightly furrowing as he questioned the Riverside Sect Elder who welcod him.

"Reporting to Peak Master Shen," the Elder replied, "not long after you went to the Immortal Burial Sea, Patriarch Zhou and the patriarchs of the other four sects all returned to their respective sects. I am unclear about the specific circumstances!"

"Alright. I understand!"

With all the Teleportation Arrays failing and all Golden Core Realm patriarchs having departed Dingbo City, the situation was dire. If the Heavenly Demons were to launch a Demon Tide now, all strongholds would likely be breached, and the entire Sea State would fall in no ti! Fortunately, the Near Sea Demon Cave had also suffered heavy losses and couldn’t recover anyti soon, so there wasn’t an imdiate need to worry excessively.

With these thoughts, Shen Mo quickly bid farewell to the sect Elder and imdiately headed towards the Riverside Sect’s main gate.
