With his task accomplished, and his apology gift in hand, Karl returned himself to the Tiny World the mont that he was back in his apartnt.

He could have done it from in the middle of the city, but that would risk revealing the presence and location of the separate space to others. With so many resources, and most or the residents still mortals, that was not a good idea.

So things were universal, and the need to have the strength to defend any resources that you claid was just as true here as it was in the Zilaz region with their dungeons.

The Elder's talk of finding resources and hidden spaces out in the wilderness around the city did intrigue Karl, though.

Once he had everyone settled, and knew that Tessa's eggs were going to be fine, he would see if the others wanted to co out for an adventure with him. Small groups often wandered the wilderness, unlike the larger groups that went to visit known trial grounds and hidden resources.

Alone, they would have a good chance of finding sothing necessary, given their level of luck bonus from the System.

That alone would make it worth the trip.

But it also ca with a chance to explore the region and gather local plants. The magical plants of the Immortal World were necessary to the developnt of new alchemy recipes, and the growth of their beasts.

Getting Immortal Rank food was the fastest way to push the beasts' power higher.

Once he could finally start on the road of ascendance, when the true power of an Immortal began to stack, instead of working through the smaller power increases of the first few foundational steps, then Karl would be confident that he could protect his people.

His first stop inside the space was Tessa's room, where he could hear her and Thor chatting with soone.

She didn't sound murderous, so Karl ca in with his peace offering in hand. "For you, congratulations on five happy healthy eggs." He explained.

Tessa laughed and shook her head when she saw the label on the case.

"You really brought back a whole case of high-end chocolates from the Immortal Realm?"

Karl smiled at her confused expression. "I asked what would be appropriate, and this is what the green dragon at the counter ca up with."

Tessa rolled her eyes. "Of course, the green dragon saw sweets as the appropriate answer to everything. She wasn't wrong though, these sll absolutely delicious.

Is that what had you away half the morning?"

Karl shook his head. "No, I had to help an Elder for a bit. She had a daughter that wanted to awaken a special class to bond with a Divine Cat type beast that she had acquired.

She already knew that I had the skill for it, based on the class that I have, so she ca and found at the warehouse while I was getting chocolates."

"Understandable. You have so very useful skills for helping children advance. It is a bit concerning that soone actually knew that you had the ability, though.

Isn't that the sort of thing that should be private?"

Karl shrugged. "She knew what was in the Skill Tree. So, presumably she has either t one before, or she had done significant research.

The skill trees of most classes are known if you know where to look."

"That is true. Fortunately for , I have a few more weeks before I have to worry about what classes my little ones are going to want. Though, if they mature at a normal rate, and not a beast space enhanced rate, I might have years."

Karl nodded. "It would be a sha to steal the joy of a new mother from them." Thor smiled. "Yep, hatchlings are too adorable to want them to grow up. Look how cute Tian is, and he's already started to grow up."

Of course, even fully grown, Tian's species was not large. At best, he would get a bit larger than Cara was, but more slender with longer legs. Not a huge and imposing species, even when they were incredibly powerful.

None of Tessa's offspring from this clutch would be smol and fluffy.

"Hey Fee, can you have Lotus bring up so snacks? Actually, we should go downstairs. We can eat at the table like civilized people, and I can lock the room to keep troublemakers out."

Karl considered telling her that it wouldn't help.

Cara and Remi both knew the trick to entering wherever in the Tiny World that they wanted. So, they could bounce into the locked room, cause chaos, and then retreat to their space.

They might have to wait until Thor was asleep, though. He would catch them imdiately if they tried to ss with his herd.

Soone knocking at the door to their apartnt caught Karl's attention. Rather, it caught the attention of the Gargoyles in the apartnt, and they notified him that soone was at the door.

"I will be right back, soone is knocking at the apartnt door. I should go greet the guests, or tell them to go away."

"You're popular. We understand. We will save you sothing from lunch." Tessa advised him.

"Find my Dana Mage, I'm sure that she's hungry by now."

Karl left the Tiny World and straightened his clothes to greet whoever their

guest was as the badger Gargoyles opened the door for their guest.

The Elder from earlier in the day entered with a scowl on her face and a smug looking cat in her hands.

"Ah, Elder. Good day, what brings you here? I assu it's sothing to do with Shade, as you brought him along"

"The cat has abducted my children."

The absolute smugness on the cat's face said that she was telling the absolute

truth, and that he regretted nothing.

"And you want to get them back out of the Villa Stone?" Karl asked, verifying

the situation.

"If it wouldn't cause a backlash, I would get rid of this brat and have Anilla bond a better behaved Moor Cat," she grumbled.

"You've done it now. She's ready to turn you into wolf chow on day one. Is there so reason that everyone is in the Villa when they're supposed to be studying?" Karl asked the cat.
