Knowing that they wouldn't lose out on the Guild Skills when he was gone and establishing a new Branch House in the Immortal World was a huge weight off Karl's mind.
With everything else that had happened today, it was nice to get so good
news.
Everyone sat silently, letting Lotus' area healing recover any lingering injuries as they ate.
"Well, we actually can't stay here too long. We've got a dungeon run this afternoon, but it's been a pleasure to co out and have a proper fight," the Supre with the white wings sighed.
"Oh, add us to your friend list! We can co out and play later. None of these guys is any fun. I think they still see as a little sister to protect and not a serious group mber," the Elf added.
Karl laughed. "I'm a bit under ranked to run Dungeons with you. But definitely add to your friends list. I don't know if we will be able to communicate across worlds, but at the very least I'll be able to use it to find you so I can open a portal."
"You can do interplanetary portals without a device? That is handy. Can you do between planes as well? I want to go to the Fae Realm and chase pixies!"
Karl laughed, and the other Supres groaned at the mory of the last ti she did that.
"Actually, I can. But I also have a Forest Trickster right here if you would like to play tag"
The Elf giggled. "I was mostly joking. But I will rember that promise. Trying to catch them is delightfully difficult, it keeps the mind sharp."
{Friend Added] Allie Treefriend
{Friend Added} Joseph Lightbringer
{Friend Added} Douggic420
{Friend Added} Maribel
Karl nodded, and accepted that the other six were simply tagging along with these more influential branch leaders, or not outgoing enough that they wanted people to contact them.
"Oh, before you go, let make you a little sothing. I can't let you help for free. Actually, I think that I have sothing that might suffice already in my inventory."
Karl took out a handful of Villa Stones, and passed them out among the group. "Oh, this is nice. Even better than my old tent, and it's got an energy gathering array built in, plus a self stocking kitchen?
You know, you might have co from a Mortal World, but you really did inherit the spirit of the Darklight Host right from the start. You probably don't know yet, but the Guild is sowhat notorious for coming up with strange and unique magical items and spells.
We've got so of the only Spellcrafter Class Immortals you'll find anywhere, you know." Allie bragged.
"You know, I have the [Skill rger] ability, and I really should make better use of it. There are so many options here in the Immortal World that I definitely do need to find an opportunity to stock up hundreds of them, just to make fun new things." Karl agreed.
"That's the spirit. Teach it to your Dana Mage as well. She's likely the smarter half of your pairing."
Dana laughed as the guys in the Supre group rolled their eyes.
"Hey, us lovely young ladies need to stick together. If we let the boys do all the thinking, they'd split the task between both heads and never get anything done."
Karl winked and swatted her on the bottom, just to prove her point.
The Elf giggled and ran over to give Dana a hug. "Oh, we are totally coming back to visit this place. It shouldn't take long, and you'll both be Ascended Immortals, then we can start dragging you along on Supre Ranked dungeon trips to build experience.
Trust , it works great, and you learn so much about what it takes to surpass the peak of Immortality simply by fighting against monsters who have done it." If any of the Elders could hear that, they would be spitting blood in rage.
Was surpassing Peak Immortal so easy?
Not even one in a hundred Peak Immortals ever beca Supre. If you could do it just by fighting over your Rank, would they still be stuck?
But Karl had faith in the Darklight Host. If they said that it would work, then it would work.
It was likely that the difference lay in the group that went with you and the guidance that they offered. If they hadn't chanced upon the thod, and had been taught it in more detail than simply what was necessary for their own personal bottleneck, it wouldn't be any harder than an Immortal teaching a Totem about the Fundantal Rules so that they could advance more smoothly.
"You seem quite familiar with my Class progression. How is that?" Karl asked, before they could leave.
"Oh, it's a Guild thing. If you bring up the Guild Log, you can see the Rank and Class advancents of mbers. Most of the ti it's only the ones from your branch, as well as other branch leaders. However, if you're looking at them, you can see their history since they entered the Guild.
For so, that's a lifeti of information, for others, it's just a few entries." Joseph, the white winged Supre, noted.
"Oh, I hadn't noticed that entry before. I see now. It looks like most of you entered the Guild when you were already stronger Immortals, but Lady Allie entered at System Awakening"
"Ooh, he calls Lady. See, that's the kind of respect you used to have for ," the Elf complained to Maribel, the white dragon's Avatar, according to the
System.
"That's because you've looked the sa since we t at age twelve. Do you know how hard it is to take soone seriously when they look like a child
forever?"
"Hey! I'm getting there. It's just that I co from the High Elven bloodline, and we mature more slowly than usual."
Joseph sighed and patted the Elf on her head. "You two have been at that for fifty years. You even advanced on the sa day, just so that neither of you got to have the first party."
Allie and Mirabel shrugged in unison. As much as they bickered, they really had been best friends since they were children.
Doug, the quiet one of the four who had added Karl to his friend list, cleared his
throat.
"Since you've all forgotten, I will remind the young Pet Sitter. You have a skill nad Pet Sitter in your skill tree, and it's the first one that you should get. I see that you didn't use it in the battle, so you must not have it yet.
If you did, you'd have had them active.
Dominion is also a useful one, as it extends skills to max sensory range, which includes your bonded beasts. So you could use skills from an absolutely insane distance. Pet Sitters are absolutely broken when it cos to ambushes and
playing dirty tricks.
It's just a sha that you're not from the Ancient species. You would have so many innate abilities that complint your Class.
But they're pretty rare.
Now, we really do need to get going, and you need to go back out into the Clan
to give back the loot, and to make sure that the survivors of the Clans you
disbanded don't take all the good stuff from their compounds before they
leave.
The New Ho rchant Clan is entitled to a fifth of it, but so of the victories were attributed to the Darklight Host, so the locals might try to argue with the distribution if you're not with them."
