We had no other choice but to play tug of war with them.
For this ti I followed Michelle's suggestion, we ran in opposite directions and made the lizards chase us separately. We ran quickly, they were as fast as us and several tis they almost even bit my back but I managed to dodge it. "Ahhhhhh……" after I jumped I stabbed my sword into the ground so I was hanging now in the valley which was of course very deep. I stuck the sword very firmly so I would not fall even though there was a very fearful feeling when I looked down. The valley was very deep. Terrifying was the one word that crossed my mind. When I moved closer and more cracks in the ground were felt so I imdiately moved slowly, the cliff that I was about to reach was going to crack.

"My lord I will imdiately help you," he said in a stamring voice because he was pulling my body up.
"Hah… hah… hah…" the sound of breathing was very clear because he was having difficulty pulling my body.
As much as possible I held his hand tightly.
After he pulled my body he imdiately sat down with heavy breathing.
"Thank you!" I said while looking around and I also rembered the other lizard where it went. I did not see the other lizard. "Where is the other lizard?" I asked Alrich and he shook his head.
"In that case I will look for Michelle first," I said to him and he nodded because now I had to find the three lizards again.
"You hide first," I said to Alrich and he imdiately nodded.
My sight scanned and my ear touched the ground to make sure where they were now when I felt the ground getting closer toward it seed Mishael also realized that there was a valley so she would also make the lizard fall into the valley.
Her movent beca faster then I looked for roots or sothing strong to help Michelle because it seed she did not bring a sharp weapon like a sword or any sharp object that could be used.
When I had found a root strong enough to hold Michelle's weight I imdiately approached and it turned out she really jumped down without caring about her life and the two lizards followed her. When she had fallen I threw the root rope toward her and she might have been shocked when the rope suddenly swung freely toward her.
"Michelle hold my rope!" I said and Michelle imdiately accepted my root rope and she held it tightly.
The sound of the lizards was very clear from below and most likely both of them were already dead while I pulled the root rope and pulled Michelle up.
After I pulled her body to the surface she looked very frightened not because she was afraid of dying but she seed to be hiding sothing but I did not understand what she felt so I remained silent and looked at her while breathing heavily.
"Luckily you are safe," I said while looking at her but she kept turning her face to the other side it seed she really had sothing she was hiding from .
I gently patted her shoulder and she was startled then looked at with a normal expression but the fear on her face was still visible in my eyes.
"What actually happened?" I asked because the topic we talked about was only that and kept going in circles.
"We have to hurry out of here I saw earlier so many eggs that are about to hatch if they hatch and see us then we will be considered their mother," she said in a low voice and looked around.
"Where is Alrich?" she asked and I turned to the back and did not find Alrich anywhere.
"Alrich… where are you?" I asked loudly but he did not co out from his hiding place and inevitably I imdiately looked for him.
"Alrich… where are you?" I shouted calling his na but I also did not see him even he did not answer my call.
"Where did he go?" I shook my head because just now I told him to hide then why did he suddenly disappear so quickly.
"Damn… we have to hurry to find a way out," Michelle cursed but when my foot stepped suddenly my necklace pulsed emitting a red color and I and Michelle looked at each other because it could be a demon or sothing that might be the way out of this labyrinth.
"Let's walk forward," I said and she nodded because the labyrinth was quite dark so we had to hurry to get out.
"Alrich… where are you?" I was still trying to call his na but he still did not co out and I looked down when I saw footprints these were not my footprints nor Mishael's so I made sure these were Alrich's footprints.
"Wait this is not our footprints," I asked Mishael. Michelle shook her head because it was indeed not hers.
"Let's follow the footprints first." And when I was about to step to follow the footprints my necklace suddenly did not glow red again.
"What is actually happening?" Michelle said but I also could not explain because I also just knew about this necklace even for the first ti I felt the necklace glow but I did not feel any demon or soone threatening .
"Let's just follow this," I said hesitantly but sohow there was an uneasy feeling when I was about to follow those footprints.
"Wait!" I crouched and looked at the footprints because the size was bigger than our feet.
"Is there sothing else?" Mishael said but I ignored her and crouched while looking at the wider footprints.
"This is not a foot like Alrich. But this foot is quite big is there soone who has been here?" Mishael also followed crouching and looking at the footprints and the footprints led deeper into the forest again. Because we were near the edge of the valley we decided to enter the forest again where there were many lizard eggs.
"Are you sure we will go inside?" Hearing Michelle's question I had no other choice but to enter the forest again even though the necklace was not glowing red but I had no other choice but to find Alrich so I could find him.
We decided to follow the footprints even though we were not really sure what was happening but we had no other choice but to find where Alrich was.
My feet stepped but suddenly a shadow briefly appeared in front of my eyes but I could not be sure whether it was my hallucination or I was mistaken but I kept staring forward then suddenly from behind I felt soone pass quickly. Michelle realized sothing and she looked back but found nothing and did not say anything to . The shadow kept moving with speed as if it was playing with us.
"You feel it?" Michelle asked and I nodded slowly because she seed to feel the sa as but we could not be fooled.
"Let's catch him!" After that I imdiately prepared myself to catch soone who was playing with us because we also could not be careless considering he had extraordinary speed and did not have a shadow.
Her hand went into her pocket and she began to prepare while looking around to make sure she could catch that person.
"It seems this was already planned." I kept looking around and making sure that there was indeed soone here besides the three of us. Waiting for the right mont was the best way to reveal who was behind all of this.
