Now reading: Chapter 127: Ava from The Forbidden Heiress At The All Male Alpha Academy, a Fantasy novel by Aniverse.

Ava stood up, her brown eyes glowing powerfully. The air vibrated with sothing new, sothing Theo had never witnessed before. Whatever was happening to Ava, the walls trembled along with it. So books fell off the shelf.

The bullies backed away, their eyes wide with terror.

Theo watched, fascinated.

Ava looked so much different from the girl on the floor just a mont ago.

But just like that, that powerful burst of sothing new suddenly disappeared. Ava’s eyes stopped glowing, and the air cald again.

Huh? What the hell?

Ava slumped back down to the ground again, groaning while clutching her head.

"What the hell was that?" The brunette cursed, then boldly kicked Ava’s leg to check and see whether she would suddenly ignite again.

Not happened.

"I think we should leave,"

"No," Expensive boots stepped forward, "Whatever happened to her vanished. She’s still the sa stupid, helpless brat we know,"

Before she could touch Ava’s hair, a hand smacked hers away.

She heaved in anger, then looked up and saw a red-haired, short boy standing between her and Ava. He looked familiar. Was he...?

"Aren’t you...,"

Theo cut her off, "Libraries are supposed to be quiet. Didn’t your teachers teach you that?"

The girl’s expression shifted from smug to wary, "Mind your own business, shorty!" Lipstick scoffed.

Theo’s eyes glowed faintly in the dimlight, with Seraphina ready to break through from inside. No other words were needed to be exchanged.

They all felt the power difference between them, but expensive boots wasn’t going to have it, "How dare you walk in here and act like you own the place? Protecting your little girlfriend? Co on, we all know you’re disgusted by her. I an look at her, she’s always grovelling on the floor...,"

There was a sharp sound cutting through, and gasps followed imdiately. Theo’s hand had raised on their own, courtesy of Seraphina, and they had slapped the girl so hard her fingerprints instantly ca up.

*Oh my God. SERA!* Theodora cried.

*What? She was being annoying and all full of herself. It reminded of Harrison and Caspian and I lost control for a second*

*Boys aren’t supposed to hit girls!*

*Yeah? Well, tell that to your brothers and the werewolf world! Moreover, you’re not a boy!*

*They don’t know that*

*It doesn’t change the fact that she deserves it*

Expensive boots snapped her head back up at Theo, her eyes swirling with rage, "How dare you lay your hand on ? Do you know who my brother is?"

"Let guess? A cocky, smug face bastard with a god complex, too?"

They all snarled at her, but one glare from her was enough to make them think of their actions again.

They started to walk away, but expensive boots kept glaring back every two seconds, letting her know this was far from over.

Once they were gone, Theo was left to face Ava. After ignoring her all this ti, she wasn’t sure how the girl would react.

"Let help you," She extended an arm out.

Surprisingly, Ava took it and Theo pulled her back up to her feet.

"How does your head feel? Should I take you to the clinic?"

"You’re not Thaddeus Douglas,"

Well, that went south real quick.

Ava looked straight at her, into her eyes, without doubt. But as she stared, Theo felt like sothing was off about the way Ava looked at her.

Very off.

"What happened to Thad? Why do you look like him and why is a girl pretending to be him?"

Now, that part caught Theo off guard. How the hell did Ava find out she was a girl?!

"I’m not a girl,"

Ava gave her a firm once over, "I know you’re. I felt it from the mont I hugged you. It just took a little longer to put it together. Your voice is different from Thad’s, your Aura is, you’re shorter and smaller, and I can sll you better than the others can. I know you’re a girl,"

Sll her better than the others? Does she have so kind of extraordinary sense of sll, enough to sniff Theo’s Jasmine scent strongly? Is that how she was able to tell she was a girl?

Ava groaned again, clutching her head.

"What you think of doesn’t matter, let’s get you to the clinic, first,"

She shoved lightly against Theo, "There’s no need for that. It’d be weird if I went complaining of a headache when I didn’t get super drunk, and it’s not a full moon tonight. The headache cos and goes, don’t bother yourself about it,"

Cos and goes.

Like that terrifying change that happened to her for a few seconds? Maybe she was also a special case like Theo?

"Fine, but let’s get out of here. If soone sees us here, they’d think...," Well, they’d think of a lot of things. But the first assumption would be that they were either fucking, or making out.

"You can just leave. You don’t have to force yourself to help because you feel bad for ,"

Theo shook her head, "Is that what you think? I don’t feel bad for you, I just really hate bullies, and I also wanted to apologise for how I acted that day in the courtyard. When you kissed , I panicked,"

"Yeah, because you’re not my boyfriend," Their eyes t again, and that strange feeling coursed through Theo’s veins.

The way Ava looked at her could easily fool anyone that she was actually... looking. But there was sothing really odd about how she stared. Almost like she was looking... but wasn’t looking at the sa ti.

Weird. Theodora didn’t know how to explain it.

"Can we please just get out of here first?"

"Fine,"

They walked back to the regular parts of the library, and Theo stopped and picked out the combat book again.

"Are you leaving?" Theo inquired.

"I was actually reading that when Heather and her friends stord in on ,"

"Oh!" Theo extended it to her, "Here, you can continue. I can’t really read at the mont, I look at the pages once and my mind goes sowhere else after,"

Ava looked down at the book, staring for a second. Then, she raised a hand to take the book from Theo.

Theo stared more closely. Ava was staring at the book, but not directly. She grabbed the book, and pulled... but Theo wasn’t letting go.

She was too curious at this point.

"Hey!" Ava looked up at her, "Let go. You said you were gonna let continue reading,"

"But...," Theo said softly and cautiously, taking a step closer to Ava. She leaned down a bit, her eyes deeply assessing the blonde’s eyes, "How are you supposed to read this when...you’re blind?"
