Chapter 1083: Chapter 691: New Beginnings

Seeing that Cheng Feng didn’t want to dwell too much on this matter, Liu Hun didn’t say much either. After pondering for a mont, he took out a card and handed it to Cheng Feng, saying: “This card contains about one billion yuan. Next, I want you to help forcibly acquire two hospitals. I want to reorganize Tianhe Restaurant. We don’t have much ti, so so things must be done. Otherwise, by the ti Liu Dehai realizes what’s happening, our situation might be troubleso.”

“Why acquire hospitals?” Cheng Feng asked Liu Hun with so surprise. Cheng Feng thought Liu Hun had called him for sothing else, but didn’t expect it to be this matter.

“The crisis at Tianhe Restaurant served as a wake-up call for . I originally planned to expand my influence massively this ti, with Tianhe Restaurant as the mainstay. It has been said since ancient tis that whoever wins the people’s hearts wins the world. The masses may seem insignificant, but at tis they can play a crucial role. And if we want to firmly root our forces in Huaihai Province, these are essential. That’s why I initially planned to work on Tianhe Restaurant; but this crisis made realize that even with top-notch confidentiality, we can’t avoid issues like what happened with Tianhe Chain Restaurant. To completely eliminate this kind of issue, I must co up with a plan, and that plan involves hospitals,” Liu Hun openly explained to Cheng Feng.

“Boss, do you want to tie Tianhe Restaurant and hospitals together?” Cheng Feng, having grown up in a prestigious family, quickly grasped the idea.

“That’s right, and in these two hospitals, future dical care will be free, of course, only for our restaurant’s VIP custors.” Liu Hun nodded.

“Isn’t this approach too costly?” Cheng Feng frowned. Having a VIP system didn’t surprise him, but providing lifelong dical care for guests without the hospitals earning a penny seed terrifyingly costly.

After all, their identity now is as businessn; if a business doesn’t make money but just spends outwardly, it holds little aning.

Cheng Feng understood that what he could think of, Liu Hun could too, so he wasn’t overly worried.

“The VIP system is only granted to those who have dined at Tianhe Restaurant for over a month. Moreover, don’t forget what fueled Tianhe Restaurant’s growth—those dicinal als are my exclusive creation. With long-term consumption, one’s health will naturally improve. Minor ailnts can be ignored. Thus, long-term consumption ans that, in theory, few VIP custors will actually visit the hospital. Of course, exceptions can’t be ruled out, but these are considered a good deed; with this VIP sche, Tianhe Restaurant will surely reach its peak, and the profits will cover any minor losses. Most importantly, it will gain everyone’s approval. Why not do it?” Liu Hun patiently explained to Cheng Feng.

“I understand. Boss, you want to use this opportunity to gain everyone’s recognition, right?” Cheng Feng took a deep breath, then looked at Liu Hun and asked.

“Feng, sotis we shouldn’t focus solely on imdiate profits. We should take a longer-term view. We are indeed businessn, but as long as the premise guarantees profitability, earning a little less is okay. After all, no one in this world can make all the money; besides, we don’t lack money now. Profits should be spent; otherwise, they hold no aning,” Liu Hun remarked.

“Then I’ll go handle it right away. It shouldn’t take more than a week to complete.” This ti, Cheng Feng had nothing to say. Liu Hun made sense: no matter how much money they earned, it was aningless as just a pile of numbers in the bank.

“A week’s too long. If we had excess ti, I wouldn’t be thinking of acquiring hospitals. The reason for acquiring them is to save ti, as only three or four days remain for and Liu Dehai; I’ll hold a press conference tomorrow morning to announce this VIP sche, so it must be completed by the day after. As for doctors, hire so internationally renowned ones; don’t worry about the cost. If funds run short, ask .” Liu Hun shook his head and gravely said to Cheng Feng.

Finishing the acquisition in two days was indeed tight, but Cheng Feng understood that if it weren’t difficult, Liu Hun wouldn’t have approached him.

“Then I’ll go back and think this through.” Cheng Feng didn’t say much, waved goodbye to Liu Hun, and left.

As soon as Cheng Feng left, Bing’er ca in with two bowls of porridge, asking Liu Hun in surprise, “Brother-in-law, why did Brother Cheng leave in such a hurry?”

“Although Tianhe Restaurant has already forcibly acquired Tianhe Chain Restaurant, our crisis isn’t completely resolved, and there’s a press conference scheduled for tomorrow morning. There’s no ti for pleasantries. How are things on your end?” Liu Hun nodded and casually asked Bing’er.

“I’ve notified the journalists. Initially, they weren’t that interested, but upon hearing that it’s hosted by you, they all agreed to co. Bro-in-law, you’re famous.” Bing’er smiled, giving Liu Hun a subtle complint.

She continued, not forgetting to hand the porridge to Liu Hun, saying: “Brother-in-law, I just made this porridge for you. Try it and see how it tastes.”

Liu Hun intended to refuse, still mulling over the VIP sche, but seeing Bing’er’s expectant gaze, he finally nodded.

After two bites, Liu Hun said to Bing’er: “Bing’er, you should go ho early and rest tonight. I need to sort out the plan since the VIP sche was a sudden idea, and there’s much to refine. Be careful on your way ho.”

“Oh, alright then.” Initially, Liu Hun had agreed to return ho, but suddenly he said he wouldn’t, which made Bing’er’s delicate face reveal slight disappointnt.

Bing’er cleaned up after Liu Hun finished his porridge and didn’t disturb him further as she left.

Liu Hun didn’t dwell on it. To him, Bing’er was just a young girl, though he hadn’t realized that they were of similar age, with only his ntal age being much more mature.

That night, Liu Hun worked late into the night to finalize the plan. Looking at the plan in hand, a faint smile appeared on his lips as he instinctively called out: “Bing’er, help print several more copies of the plan…”

Before finishing his sentence, he looked up at the empty room and realized that Bing’er had long been sent ho to rest.

“Busy and lost track of ti; it’s already passed Liu Chen o’clock. Bing’er should be asleep by now.” He murmured to himself and shook his head, just as he was about to rise to handle the matter, the door suddenly opened.

Bing’er walked in drowsily, yawning, and asked, “Brother-in-law, is there sothing you need?”

“Didn’t I tell you to go ho and rest? Why are you still here?” Liu Hun looked at her tired face, surprised.

“I thought you’d finish quickly, so I planned to wait here until you did,” Bing’er explained.

“You’re such… alright, have a seat.” Liu Hun shook his head, put down the plan, and gestured to the sofa for Bing’er.

“Weren’t you calling for sothing?” Bing’er asked, puzzled, as she sat on the sofa.

“We’ll discuss that later. Let give you a shoulder massage to help relieve your fatigue. Your sister used to ask for this when she was tired.” Liu Hun smiled.

He stepped behind Bing’er and gently massaged her shoulders, while his inner energy subtly flowed into her body.

Initially, Bing’er was sowhat expectant, but as Liu Hun continued his gentle massage, she closed her eyes and softly said, “Brother-in-law, I finally understand why my sister likes you so much. Even this massage would be irresistible for any girl, it feels like floating in the night sky.”

“Alright, stop flattering . Take a deep breath, and completely relax. Soon, you won’t feel as tired,” Liu Hun chuckled, not taking it to heart.

In the past, Liu Hun might have picked up on sothing, but now his thoughts were entirely occupied with matters concerning Liu Dehai, leaving him no room to consider Bing’er’s little thoughts.

Following Liu Hun’s instructions, Bing’er gradually relaxed and fell asleep after a few minutes.

Seeing this, Liu Hun withdrew his hands, looked at Bing’er sleeping soundly on the sofa, and sighed, “Just like your sister, silly; a good night’s sleep will do wonders for tomorrow.” He removed his coat, covered Bing’er, and proceeded to busy himself with the plan.

Early the next morning, Liu Hun changed into a fresh outfit, then headed downstairs to the restaurant entrance. Seeing the large crowd gathered, it reminded him of the opening day.
