"Whoosh!" This golden light shot toward the sky and quickly disappeared. Nonetheless, the octopus creature was slightly startled. However, the next mont, when it realized that the golden light had vanished, it beca even more excited, thinking that Liu Hun was rely making a last-ditch effort.
Yet, before the octopus could even react, the golden light that had just disappeared suddenly descended, arriving instantly before the creature.
Upon closer inspection, the golden light was actually enveloping a long knife!
The long knife appeared before the octopus in an instant, and before it could react, the knife had already pierced deeply into the creature’s head.
"Oooo..." When the long knife stabbed into its head, the octopus couldn’t help but let out a series of strange cries, even its tentacles relaxed.
Upon noticing this, the group didn’t hesitate for a mont, quickly breaking free from the octopus’s grasp, with Liu Hun leading the way.
Using the octopus’s tentacles as leverage, Liu Hun propelled himself like a cannonball, landing on top of the creature’s head. He gripped the knife tightly with both hands, channeling all his internal power into it.
"Break for !" Liu Hun shouted, and the next mont, the whole knife was driven into the octopus’s head. The group, having just escaped the creature’s control, couldn’t help but tremble slightly at the sight.
They knew how significant the octopus’s head was, and now Liu Hun had penetrated it entirely with the knife, one could only imagine the creature’s imnse pain.
Liu Hun, however, paid no mind to this. As the knife entered the octopus’s head, his peripheral vision caught the binding on the Ti-Space Gate gradually dissipating.
"Hurry up and go!" Liu Hun, his face pale with urgency, shouted to the group.
His words snapped them back to reality. Although the binding on the Ti-Space Gate was disappearing, so was the gate itself. If they lingered any longer, it could vanish completely in just a few seconds.
If that happened, Liu Hun and the others would have to wait until tomorrow to leave. But no one could predict if the sa opportunity would present itself tomorrow; thus, it was the perfect mont to escape.
Once Liu Hun finished speaking, the group didn’t hesitate, quickly using all their strength to dash toward the Ti-Space Gate.
anwhile, the octopus had descended into madness, its eight tentacles flailing wildly in mid-air, with a chilling glint in Liu Hun’s eyes.
"Break for !" Liu Hun muttered so spells, and the next mont, a blinding golden light burst within the octopus’s head. The long knife then shot out from its head, returning to Liu Hun’s hand.
As soon as the long knife returned to Liu Hun’s hand, the Blood Phoenix transford back into a small bird, landing on his shoulder, while Liu Hun gently pushed off the ground, rushing toward the Ti-Space Gate.
Just as Liu Hun dashed through the Ti-Space Gate, several of the octopus’s tentacles slapped against it, but at that mont, the gate conveniently disappeared.
As for what happened next, Liu Hun didn’t know. Once he and everyone else entered the gate, the next mont, it felt like he was on a roller coaster, racing forward through endless darkness, unable to see anything else.
"Whoosh!" About a few seconds later, Liu Hun felt the ground give way, and his body started to fall from mid-air. Fortunately, their exit point was not far from the ground.
Once Liu Hun landed, seeing the group looking disheveled, he couldn’t help but breathe a sigh of relief.
They had finally made it out of Silent Hill. Although their exact location was unknown, seeing the snowy surroundings, Liu Hun confird that they were no longer in Silent Hill’s domain.
"Boss, are you okay?" As Liu Hun surveyed the area, an old ghost brushed off the snow from his body, asking Liu Hun with lingering fear.
With the old ghost’s words, everyone else also looked toward Liu Hun. If not for Liu Hun gravely injuring the octopus at the crucial mont just now, they wouldn’t have been able to leave that cursed place today.
"Do you know where we are?" Liu Hun took a deep breath, shook his head at the old ghost, and asked.
Since they had successfully escaped, Liu Hun didn’t want to dwell on the matters of Silent Hill for now.
"Of course I know. Back then, when I got out, I also dropped into this damned place. If we head north for several dozen kiloters, we’ll reach Sin City. But boss, shouldn’t we..." The old ghost didn’t finish his sentence, but Liu Hun understood his implication.
