After everyone had left, Liu Hun walked toward Yang Yi’s office.
Standing outside the office door, Liu Hun watched Yang Yi busy at work. He didn’t interrupt but waited patiently until she finished all her tasks before stepping into the office.
Yang Yi had noticed Liu Hun outside the office long ago, but she hadn’t spoken up, as she still had many pressing matters to attend to.
"You’ve been waiting a long ti, haven’t you?" As Liu Hun walked into the office, Yang Yi spoke gently to him.
Hearing her words, Liu Hun’s lips curled into a slight smile, and he softly replied, "No matter how long I wait for you, it’s worth it."
"Tell , is there anything you need to do? I’ve been holding back a lot of frustration lately, so if there’s sothing I can do, it would be great." Yang Yi cast Liu Hun a playful glance, her deanor quite alluring.
Liu Hun was taken aback by this; he had never seen Yang Yi look like that before. After a mont of surprise, he said earnestly, "Next, I need you to help contact the Death Tribe and the Ghost Doctor Clan. Tell them Liu Hun is back and needs them to return!"
"Okay, I just need to notify them later. They’ve been lying low for the past year, waiting for your return. Now that you’re back, everything will be much easier." Yang Yi nodded to Liu Hun.
But when she said this, Yang Yi paused slightly, then continued, "Oh yes, Liu Hun, there’s sothing I’ve been aning to tell you. While you were gone, my father visited Huaihai Province and told he wanted to co to the secular world. If you need his help, he can co anyti."
Hearing this, Liu Hun was montarily surprised. He hadn’t expected Yang Yi’s father was planning to erge, and his words clearly indicated he intended to ally himself with Liu Hun.
The secular world differs from Sin City; Yang Yi’s father can do whatever he wants in Sin City, but not in the secular world, as the governnt keeps a close watch, which is uncomfortable for soone powerful.
But with Liu Hun back, his reputation in the secular world is unquestioned, and few would cause him trouble.
Yang Yi’s father understood this well, which is why he spoke these words to Yang Yi now.
This aligns with Liu Hun’s current thoughts as he wants to consolidate control over Huaihai Province and Southeast Province without any threat from the governnt. He needs a strong support system.
Although Liu Hun’s individual power is formidable, even to the point of being unrestrained, there are many considerations. Relying solely on the Death Tribe and Ghost Doctor Clan is insufficient.
If Yang Yi’s father joined, it would be different; he’s a significant figure in Sin City with many experts under his command.
"You can explain the situation to your father. If he wants to enter the secular world, I need him to stay in Southeast Province or Huaihai Province." Liu Hun said seriously to Yang Yi.
Although logically, Yang Yi’s father could be considered Liu Hun’s father-in-law, Liu Hun understood the real significance of Yang Yi’s father’s ergence: both sides simply need each other. So things must be clarified beforehand.
If issues arise later and cause disputes, Yang Yi would find herself in a tough spot.
"I understand. I’ll explain the situation to my father. Whether he decides to co or not is up to him." Yang Yi was aware of both her father’s and Liu Hun’s intentions, seeing the situation as a bystander, and understanding Liu Hun’s current state.
If her father refused after knowing everything, she believed Liu Hun wouldn’t bla her.
"Thank you, Yi’er." Liu Hun pursed his lips, words left unspoken, but his eyes were filled with growing affection.
Feeling the love in Liu Hun’s gaze, Yang Yi smiled slightly, shook her head, and said nothing.
For her, sotis a word from Liu Hun or a single glance was enough. Even the grievances she had endured over the year seed entirely worthwhile at this mont.
"Deal with these matters next. I have sothing to attend to." Liu Hun nodded to Yang Yi, leaving so things unsaid, but their mutual understanding was clear.
