“I’m going to use the restroom,” Yao Yu said lazily as she got up from Liu Hun’s side, straightening her clothes and flashing him a slight smile.

After Yao Yu left the private room, Liu Hun picked up a bottle of liquor and downed it in one go. Looking at the empty room, the scene from just now seed as illusory as a reflection on the water.

“Yao Yu, I heard you are an orphan, don’t be ungrateful. If you followed our Brother Dong, you wouldn’t have to worry about food and drink for the rest of your life,” the young n by the side chid in.
“Get out of my way!” Yao Yu’s brows furrowed slightly as she spoke coldly.
If it had been an hour earlier, maybe Yao Yu would have given it so thought. Unfortunately for them, she had now beco Liu Hun’s lover.
Although Yao Yu had appeared sowhat promiscuous before, she wasn’t a girl who just went with anyone. Since she had agreed to be with Liu Hun, she wouldn’t betray him until he said otherwise.
“What are you doing?” Just as Liu Hun was about to step forward, a familiar figure slowly entered his line of sight.
A man in his late twenties, wearing rimd glasses, approached, glaring angrily at the group and shouted.
“Teacher Qian…” Yao Yu, startled by the young man’s arrival, blurted out instinctively.
Seeing the newcor, Liu Hun narrowed his eyes slightly, restraining his steps and carefully sizing up the man.
Liu Hun had previously had Little Five and others investigate Qian Zhongshu, so he had seen Qian Zhongshu’s photo; yet, Liu Hun had not expected Qian Zhongshu to be even more handso than in his photos.
If one were to associate Qian Zhongshu’s scholarly appearance with the Poisonous Insect, they likely wouldn’t have imagined the connection.
“Ah, it seems like you must be a teacher from Southeast University. Ready to stand up for your student, are you? I just don’t know if you have the strength for it!” The man called Brother Dong looked at Qian Zhongshu disdainfully.
“What do you want to do? If you co any closer, I’m calling the police!” Seeing the n slowly approaching him, a trace of wariness appeared in Qian Zhongshu’s eyes as he spoke softly.
“Hahaha, Brother Dong, he’s actually talking about calling the police.” One of the young n laughed out loud and then teasingly looked at Qian Zhongshu: “Do you know who Brother Dong’s father is? He’s the police chief of the South District. You’re talking about calling the police, that’s hilarious!”
“Teacher Qian…” Seeing Qian Zhongshu getting into trouble because of her, worry peeked through Yao Yu’s eyes.
“Yao student, you don’t have to be afraid. As a teacher, I absolutely won’t allow them to bully our students!” Qian Zhongshu clenched his teeth, reassuring Yao Yu.
Faced with this situation, Liu Hun still didn’t choose to intervene. Although today’s surprise eting was unexpected, now that it had happened, he didn’t mind seeing what Qian Zhongshu would do next.
“Trying to be a hero, saving the beauty? You’d need the power to back it up!” Brother Dong said coldly, then gestured to the n beside him.
Imdiately, the n dragged Qian Zhongshu into the restroom and beat him with fists and kicks; Qian Zhongshu could only clasp his head with his hands, unable to fight back.

“How about it, Yao Yu, have you reconsidered now?” Wang Dong didn’t pay attention to Qian Zhongshu being beaten in the restroom and kept smiling at Yao Yu.
Wang Dong was studying at Southeast Normal University. Previously, when Yao Yu visited Southeast Normal University to see Zhou Jing, she happened to co across Wang Dong, which led to the current situation.
“You better release Mr. Qian…” Yao Yu said anxiously.
“As long as you agree to keep company tonight, I’ll let your dear teacher go. How about that?” Wang Dong said, his eyes greedily scanning Yao Yu’s entire body.
“Don’t even think about it!” Yao Yu clenched her teeth tightly and glared at Wang Dong with red-rimd eyes.
“If that’s the case, then there’s no helping it. I’ll just call a few cops over here and say you guys hit . By then, I’m afraid both of you would have to take a trip to the police station,” Wang Dong said without urgency, believing that Yao Yu, a girl from a poor family and particularly an orphan, would eventually agree to his terms.
“Shaless, despicable!” Yao Yu spat angrily.
“Don’t hurt Yao, co at if you have an issue!” Qian Zhongshu yelled from the restroom to Wang Dong outside.
Hearing this, Wang Dong turned his head and glared at his subordinates, “Are you guys using all your strength on won tonight, damn it!”
Wang Dong’s roar made his n hit Qian even harder, and in no ti at all, Qian Zhongshu’s body was covered in injuries.
Seeing this situation, Liu Hun knew that there was little chance Qian Zhongshu would take action today; moreover, if things continued, Yao Yu might just be taken advantage of by Wang Dong.
Even though Liu Hun’s involvent with Yao Yu was purely transactional, the won he had been involved with had not been touched by others.
“Stop,” Liu Hun said as he made his way to the center of the scene.
“Who the hell are you?” Wang Dong was already annoyed by Qian Zhongshu’s interference, and now another daredevil had appeared, prompting an unfriendly look from him toward Liu Hun.
“Mr. Lin…” Seeing Liu Hun, Yao Yu quickly hid behind him.
Hearing Yao Yu’s words, Wang Dong couldn’t help but laugh and said, “Well, well, another teacher turns up. Seems like the teachers from Southeast University are all the sa, fond of poking their noses into others’ business. Since that’s the case, let’s include you in the cleanup as well.”
With that, Wang Dong gestured to his subordinates, who erged from the restroom, smiling gleefully at Liu Hun.
“Stay behind and be careful,” Liu Hun instructed Yao Yu after patting her hand.
Upon hearing his words, Yao Yu obediently stepped back. As the n approached Liu Hun, he grabbed one of their arms, exerted a little force, and with a crack, dislocated the man’s arm before kicking him in the abdon.
The few unfortunate n were quickly beaten to the ground by Liu Hun.
Observing this scene, Wang Dong’s face was filled with shock. He had not expected Liu Hun to be so frighteningly skilled.
Even though Liu Hun had beco quite notorious now, many in Southeast Province didn’t follow the news, and Wang Dong, a spoiled rich kid, certainly wasn’t one for news, so naturally, he did not recognize Liu Hun.
“You… don’t co any closer, my dad is the police chief, and my mom is the secretary of the provincial party committee, offend and you won’t even know how you died… ah…” Before Wang Dong could finish his threat, Liu Hun viciously kicked him in the abdon, sending him flying and crashing heavily to the ground, his whole body feeling as if it were falling apart as he wailed miserably.
“If I catch you harassing female students from our school again, it won’t be so simple,” Liu Hun glanced at Wang Dong and then walked toward the restroom.
Helping Qian Zhongshu off the ground, he said, “Mr. Qian, are you alright? I’m a new teacher at the school, nice to et you under such circumstances.”
“I’m fine, you must be Mr. Lin from the dical departnt, right? I’ve heard a lot about you, your joining our school is an honor,” Qian Zhongshu adjusted his glasses and said with a swollen face and a slight smile to Liu Hun.
“You flatter , Mr. Qian, I just happen to know a bit of dicine, nothing more,” Liu Hun replied modestly.
Yet his eyes continuously examined Qian Zhongshu, as if trying to discover sothing about him.
But throughout it all, Qian Zhongshu didn’t leave any trace for Liu Hun to pick up on. Had it not been for the information Liu Hun had gotten from Wang Xiaofei, it would have been hard for him to imagine that such a gentle, righteous teacher could be connected to that power.
“By the way, Mr. Qian, what brings you here?” asked Liu Hun, assisting Qian Zhongshu out of the restroom, curious.
“It’s my girlfriend’s birthday today, so I brought her here to celebrate. I didn’t expect to run into you and Yao,” Qian Zhongshu replied truthfully.
“What a coincidence. Since we’ve t, let’s go and offer our congratulations. Is that alright with you, Mr. Qian?” Liu Hun nodded.
“There’s nothing inconvenient about it, it’s just the two of us anyway. It’s just them…” Qian Zhongshu said, worriedly glancing at Wang Dong and his companions lying on the ground.
“Don’t worry, I know when to stop. They’ll be able to get up after a while, they won’t be in any serious trouble,” Liu Hun said with a smile.
“That’s good then,” Qian Zhongshu let go of his worries and, supported by Liu Hun, limped forward.
After the three of them had left, Wang Dong lay on the ground, his eyes filled with fury. He pulled out his phone and swiftly made a call, “Dad, I’ve been beaten up, right next to Southeast University at the Starlight KTV…”
