Pointing to one of the books, he said, "This book is the one I wrote."
He then continued, "And then, I heard a rumor about a tavern dancer, a refugee from the border wars, who also had an amazing ability in astrology. However, while her other predictions were not very accurate, she was never wrong when predicting the amount of Mining Coins in a guest’s wallet; she could instantly tell who was wealthy. Later on, she could even accurately predict hidden mines deep underground, and her fa rose rapidly. So I paid her a special visit and beca her disciple—however, I truly couldn’t learn anything from her. In my view, I may not possess three conditions: First, a unique talent. Second, not being a female. Third, not being a dancer. Especially since being a dancer itself is a mysterious ritual of so Primitive Witchcraft."
Michael was stunned: "You an, it must be a female dancer?"
Michael imdiately thought back to the first day of the server, when Chun went to the Astrology Shop, then stole from the Count’s Mansion dressed in a dancer’s dress and escaped. After his banishnt back to the city, his main activities focused on finding dancers! So it’s possible he had already learned astrology by then! So being female isn’t necessary, being a dancer is the key?
The Star Realm Mage gave a helpless smile: "It’s also possible that my astrology talent actually limited my learning. In fact, I still learned the most valuable thing from her."
Michael asked in surprise: "And what is that?"
With a sigh, the Star Realm Mage said, "It’s humility! I was quite arrogant when I was young. After eting her, I was humbled."
Michael asked again: "And where is this Celia?"
The Star Realm Mage smiled: "She is a special talent of the Empire, also at the Golden Divine Throne, managing the Starlight Tavern in the civilian business district."
Michael was stunned; he thought he knew most of the NPC information at the Golden Divine Throne, so when did a ntor-level character suddenly appear?
Michael questioned in astonishnt: "If she’s so famous, why don’t I know anything about her deeds?"
The Star Realm Mage sighed: "Because it was decades ago, and so adventurer guilds even fought large-scale battles over her. To protect talents, the Empire moved her to the Golden Divine Throne and toned down her fa unless they really needed her."
Michael’s eyebrows twitched wildly, realizing that this must have triggered so event, a system-loaded NPC background story!
Michael asked again: "Can I visit her now?"
The Star Realm Mage replied: "She’s practically a hermit now. You can have drinks with her, but for astrological matters, you must also have a high enough level of astrology."
Michael decided to learn! This is the textbook of a top Astrologer’s ntor, if Chun can learn it, why can’t I?
"Sir, can I learn astrology from you?"
The Star Realm Mage laughed: "But I can’t teach directly; there are six textbooks here, you can choose one to study, but it’s a loan!"
Michael pointed directly to the sa kind of textbook Chun had: "This one, the Astrological Dancer."
The Star Realm Mage hesitated: "Sir, you... alright. If you don’t understand it, you can co to to exchange for another textbook."
"Thank you, sir! Until we et again."
The Star Realm Mage added: "One thing to inform you, the door to the Void Entropy Demon is about to open, be prepared."
"Understood."
The so-called Void Entropy Demons are essentially file mountains. Especially when artificial intelligence started to erge, the system would accompany even more file mountains, and the resolution thod placed in the ga was to turn these things into monsters for regular cleanup.
And so, Michael needed to et this ntor. Michael believed that his privileged status could surpass her reclusive settings.
Civilian Comrcial Street.
Michael arrived at an apparently ordinary Starlight Tavern. It appeared ordinary because most industries at the Golden Divine Throne belonged to the nobles, while this tavern belonged to the civilians, who could not surpass or be more luxurious than the nobles.
Actually, Michael didn’t quite agree with this setting, but it was a result of the intelligent system’s self-evolution of social developnt outcos.
Ruling the world is a science, but it seems more like an art. After entering the industrial era, perhaps thousands of years of agrarian history can’t be used as a basis for the developnt of a 300-year industrial society. So one of the ga’s initial goals was to use the intelligent system to evolve various social developntal outcos. This is more efficient than using mice to simulate human society, or using so small e-sports nation as human social test points.
Michael sat down at the bar: "Miss Celia, a signature Starlight cocktail, please."
The shopkeeper was surprised: "It is indeed an honor for the First Sage to visit our humble shop!"
Michael gave a faint smile: "Miss Celia is too modest, as the Empire’s greatest Astrologer, you are the pride of the Golden Divine Throne."
Celia was taken aback, and with an awkward smile: "What are you talking about, sir."
Michael got straight to the point: "Master Hubble ntioned you were her ntor, so I borrowed the book you once wrote and I ask for your guidance."
Looking at the book Michael took out, Celia’s expression was wooden: "I’m sorry, although you are the respected First Sage, however, there are things as elusive as the nebulae in the void. I couldn’t teach Master Hubble, nor can I teach you. Please go back."
Michael was anxious: "It must be to beco a dancer?"
Celia was stunned: "Why do you think so?"
"Because Master Hubble thinks so too."
Celia said solemnly: "Becoming a dancer is not that simple! And, honorable Sage, have you thought about how the entire city would view you if you donned a dance dress and danced?"
