Chun kept scrolling through Black Iron live streams on his phone, but all he found were videos of himself sprawled out in Bronze City. This is a bit of a ntal overload, isn’t it?
Finally, he found it!
The rmaid made her move, her tail enveloped in a glistening sphere of water, gliding smoothly on land, attracting a crowd of player NPCs—all watching in awe. But holy shit, the Ten Lords and Mary are together!?
It’s understandable that the Ten Lords are there, but why is Mary? Are the Ten Lords trying to cut in on my territory?!
Luckily, the rmaid and Mary were chatting and laughing like old friends, which did ease Chun’s mind a bit.
Then, the group headed straight for Vivian’s Night Rose Tavern.
Ah, they’re that straightforward? Alright then...
That’s the plan, but Chun suddenly felt there was a flaw. If the rmaid hints to the chef in front of the Ten Lords, and then the tavern introduces a new baguette, Zhou Qing might think it’s related to . That would reveal my relationship with the rmaid to Zhou Qing! Although she might keep it secret, it’s still my biggest secret!
Thinking of this, Chun felt all sorts of discomfort!
He watched as the group entered the tavern, and it seed like the Ten Lords used their privilege, as no live-stream players could enter.
Can’t see them anymore.
Whatever, let’s wait until things calm down. Anyway, since I’m awake, I’ll just stroll the streets and take in the sights.
Suddenly, Chun noticed a group of small figures among the NPC crowd waving at him.
Children? The one leading them was clearly the Douding who delivered a cake!
Holy shit, he rembers !
Well, it’s only been a few days. Still, seeing his bright Essence Qi evokes the sa excitent as when he awoke from a dream. Chun felt gratified and waved back in response. However, can’t let the Ten Lords suspect anything is up with them, so he first waved at the other onlookers, then gave a special wave to Douding.
Douding clearly felt imnse satisfaction before leading the other children away.
...
Sariel entered the tavern with the rmaid and Mary, startling the patrons who stood up in surprise. Vivian led a team of staff to personally greet them at the door.
Sariel imdiately used her privilege: "Boss, the Lord of the Divine Throne requires so peace, please ask all adventurers inside to leave."
"Alright!"
In the next mont, the tavern’s players, especially the two permanent sentries from the Divine Team, were all asked to leave, and no players could enter through the door.
The rmaid looked around curiously: "Sage, this is actually my first ti in a tavern."
Sariel replied with a smile: "That’s nothing; Silver City has even more upscale places."
As soon as she said this, Sariel noticed Vivian’s smile freeze. It seed her words weren’t quite appropriate.
The rmaid laughed: "I heard, don’t you need to order from a nu at the tavern?"
Vivian imdiately handed over the nu: "Lord of the Divine Throne, this is our tavern’s specialty dish, and we’re also launching a new baguette bread."
The rmaid laughed: "Can I order everything on the nu?"
"Of course you can!"
The rmaid suddenly spotted a particular dish: "This ’Shark Oil Fried Clams’—did an adventurer provide this nu?"
Vivian awkwardly replied: "Then we won’t serve that dish!"
Sariel suddenly froze; as the Guardian God, the rmaid indeed has the privilege to discern nu copyrights—is it—
The rmaid said instead: "No, I said order everything!"
Sariel imdiately leveraged her privilege to press further: "Is it that imprisoned Chun?"
Vivian answered with so difficulty: "Yes! He provided it before he was imprisoned. Back then, he was a good guy, but he only had basic culinary skills, though the ingredients were quite high-end, so the dish isn’t cheap, and few custors order it."
Sariel, knowing her stuff, acknowledged: "Shark Oil is indeed high-end!"
To capture it is hard; refining it even more so, because sharks have no urinary systems, their urine mixed with sweat is excreted through the skin, making shark at sll horribly like it’s been marinated in a public urinal, making anything but the fins inedible. The process of oil extraction to remove the stench is very troubleso.
In actuality, there should never have been such a bizarre and troubleso process for Shark Oil, but only because the Empire secretly controls the food supply of the Five Great Cities, forcing citizens to find ways to produce oil.
Sariel continued to ask: "A basic culinary apprentice, how could he possibly use Shark Oil? Where did Chun get it from?"
Vivian struggled to answer: "Sage, this, I don’t know either."
Sariel had already figured it out: "From the Pirates maybe?"
Vivian sighed: "This, Bronze City has already judged him to have connections with the Pirates, right."
Sariel asked again: "So, he shared his nu with you, thus becoming a VIP at your tavern?"
Vivian smiled: "That’s part of the reason; of course, mainly because he was still a good person back then."
Sariel chuckled: "Then may I also offer a few dishes to you?"
Vivian was shocked: "Sage, the nu you provide must be very prestigious, I’m afraid our custors can’t afford it?"
Sariel laughed: "Since even the Lord of the Divine Throne has personally co to your tavern, your establishnt is destined to elevate in status. I believe that in the future, all citizens in the city will be proud of this place! But rest assured, the ingredients for my dishes are within Black Iron City’s capability, and so of the slightly upscale ingredients can be ordered as bounties from treasure hunters, it’s no hassle."
Vivian rejoiced: "Thank you so much, Sage!"
Sela watched the chat group live stream anxiously: "Sariel, you’re not poaching Chun’s side at all; you’re clearly poaching mine!"
