Sariel imdiately teleported to Black Iron City to invite the Astrology Old Lady. However, upon arrival, the atmosphere suddenly felt off.
The players on the streets were no longer as reverent as before, instead they were mocking and gossiping: "Yo, the Ten Lords are here!"
There was even a small fly blocking the way in the street: "Ten Lords, what’s your opinion on losing to Moore?"
Sariel’s heart twinged, clearly it was tatron’s negligence, what’s it got to do with ? But just a glance at the small fly would be a loss of face, so Sariel ignored it and continued forward.
The players on the street continued to jeer: "Speechless from anger!"
"It’s fine, it’s definitely just another case of negligence, hahaha."
"Why say ’another’?"
Sariel was furious, teeth aching! Apparently, it was due to previously losing to Chun. Perhaps that was considered an accident by ordinary players, but tatron’s consecutive failures were not, directly lowering the deterrence of the Ten Lords!
What’s more infuriating is that Black Iron City is full of low-level players with poor quality. Unlike Silver City, which is full of high-level players in teams, many rely on these teams for a living, who would dare to mock openly?
Ultimately, as one of the Ten Lords, there’s a need to find an opportunity to kill and make a statent!
Sariel arrived at Dark Alley Street, with the Old Lady’s fa increasing, more NPCs queued outside, even so nobles arrogantly cutting the line to enter the house.
Sariel sneered, activating privileges to eject the line-cutting nobles. After all, that’s also making a statent.
The Old Lady, seeing Sariel arrive, imdiately stood to greet with a flattering smile: "Welco, Sage Lord!"
Sariel asked, "With such notoriety, you’re still free?"
The Old Lady smiled: "It’s my business credibility."
Sariel frowned: "But free isn’t normal market behavior, it causes street congestion, unemploynt among peers, makes you exhausted, using the greatest good to create the greatest evil."
The Old Lady was stunned: "Sage Lord, your guidance is correct, I will resu charging imdiately."
Sariel was pleased with her compliance, and decided to give her so prep ti by posing a question: "I’m here this ti to have you predict Silver City’s fortunes."
The Old Lady smiled: "Why predict? With Sage Lord’s brilliance and wisdom, along with the rmaid Divine Throne’s intelligence, Silver City will certainly improve more and more!"
It turned out to be completely opposite of Master Hubble’s predictions?
Sariel was taken aback: "I don’t want impotent and nation-endangering flattery, I want astrology predictions that can provide city’s developnt! Are you sure Silver City’s fortune will be excellent?"
"Of course, it’s not flattery! It’s undoubtedly certain!"
Saying this, the Old Lady waved her hand over the Crystal Ball, which imdiately displayed a scene of Silver City’s fireworks and revelry.
Sariel laughed: "So, it’s the disaster plague that allows the rmaid’s developed cigarettes to sell well, yet it’s still fortunate? This astrology is interesting!"
Michael also laughed: "That’s good, one predicts disaster, the other fortune, different angles and styles complent each other, can avoid the awkwardness of PKing for superiority."
Sariel then took out an invitation: "Divine Throne Helen formally invites you, right now, imdiately!"
The Old Lady was shaking with excitent: "Such an honor, I will depart imdiately..."
...
anwhile, at the observatory of the Golden Divine Throne, the teleported rmaid ssenger, Priest Paul, also arrived.
Even facing the Empire’s Master, Paul’s temper showed no restraint: "This is the invitation from Silver City’s Guardian God, depart imdiately."
Sariel laughed: "Boss, this priest is always temperantal yet heavily utilized by the rmaid, not sure of the situation, how about letting the Empire’s Master calculate a bit first?"
Michael smiled: "Quite interesting."
Master Hubble was apparently dissatisfied with his rudeness, thus asked: "May I inquire what position Mr. Paul holds in the Silver Church?"
Paul irritably replied: "Aren’t you an astrology master? You figure it out."
Hubble calmly stated: "No need for astrology, you’re wearing an executive outfit."
Paul beca impatient: "You see it yet still ask? Wasting ti, huh!"
Hubble, however, smirked: "But your ability actually qualifies you for the Cardinal Court, did you offend soone? If calculated correctly, it should be Cardinal Bishop Sherlock you offended."
Paul snorted coldly: "The Church knows this, it’s nothing impressive. Then calculate why the Divine Throne singled out to run errands?"
Hubble waved his hand: "I don’t have that skill, won’t calculate, I’ll depart imdiately."
Paul irritably said: "Need to carry you, huh?"
Hubble laughed: "No need, I’ll probably arrive before you."
After speaking, vanished with an instant teleportation.
Michael pondered, and asked: "Sariel, who’s this Sherlock?"
Sariel felt sothing amiss: "He’s the Empire’s Cardinal Bishop stationed at Silver City’s Church, on equal footing with Remia in terms of position, but actually a governor monitoring the Five Cities Church, wielding considerable real power."
Raphael solemnly stated: "In that case, he’s on par with Marquis Guyado, nominally Guyado is just a Black Iron City marquis, but actually the Empire’s grain agent, controlling grain for the Five Great Cities. This flood incident held accountable, also backed by this marquis, seems we sages aren’t entirely transcendent in status."
Sariel was shocked: "I finally understand! That night, my darling suddenly penned a letter for this priest to perform a hasty wedding street-side. When I asked darling how she knew this guy, she said the priest was isolated yet fun, perfect for loyal subordinates, now seems far more complicated — Sherlock opposes the rmaid’s succession, my darling utilizing this priest who offended Sherlock to express dissatisfaction with opposition!"
Raphael heard, stunned: "It could also be a declaration of war!"
Gabriel was astounded: "Such a major matter, Sariel realized it now?"
Sariel panicked: "My darling has always been play-minded, I’m clueless about this small executive’s detail, didn’t realize the severity!"
Michael said: "Regardless, sooner or later, the opposition must be confronted. Better focus on current matters. For the materials needed for the rmaid’s cigarettes, let Remia and Tifa advertise; for the dicinal materials needed by the rmaid’s drug factory, run the production line at full capacity. Then, Uriel, when the ti is right, direct the siege army to abandon siege and concentrate on surrounding Silverlight Village."
Uriel understood: "To prevent the Chinese teams from returning to Silverlight Village?"
Michael said: "Yes, this way the Chinese teams will bring the Plague Box back to Silver City, then the plague can be detonated directly, and the Chinese teams will be accused of the felony of spreading the plague, all imprisoned."
Sariel was overjoyed: "Truly the boss, both allowing the rmaid to profit and imprisoning the Chinese team, truly a fortunate fortune!"
Michael lanted: "But the premise is, the box must certainly contain the plague."
