All good things must co to an end and today is no exception. The main series of The Genesis Saga is now complete. Books 1–4 form a full, finished narrative. A prequel will continue to be released in the coming weeks.
To everybody who made it this far, thank you. Thank you for your years of support as I posted my story.
The Genesis Saga began with a simple question about what might truly happen to a human experint abducted by aliens. If there was a reason behind it, what would it be? What would those experints actually look like? I wanted to explore those questions seriously rather than have them fade into background details.
The story grew into sothing much larger than I ever expected. Over five years, it beca a five-book series spanning nearly 2,500 pages. It was originally written as a novel before later being adapted into a serialized format.
At its core, this story was about imperfect people trying to move forward after impossible choices. We all have flaws, and I wanted to write characters whose flaws could be understood, even if they weren’t always liked. Most importantly, I wanted my characters to grow.
The Genesis Saga is not a perfect story, but I love it for its imperfection. I love it because I discovered a passion I never thought I’d have and because it’s mine. It’s been an imnse pleasure working on it. Ti sure flew by, especially after I decided to publish the first volu and then the whole story online.
Naturally, this wouldn’t be an Author’s Note without dedications, and I certainly have a few. I’d like to thank my family for their support during my decision to write and publish The Genesis Saga. I would especially like to extend my thanks to my father, who offered an imnse amount of ti and dedication to helping publish my first novel and reading the story from beginning to end.
If you’ve made it this far, I would love to hear your thoughts on the story as a whole.
I have a new series I’ll be working on, and I’ll post an update when it launches once the prequel is done posting.
Thank you for seeing this story through to its end.
