Lu Jia’er shook her head. “No. I find myself lucky to have met you. I fell in love with you and you, me. But this fortunate love makes me feel conflicted. I have bee your soft spot. While I am enjoying the happiness of being protected by you, I am worried that you can be in danger because of me.”

“Courage of love?” Lu Jia’er mumbled the words.

I cannot think of anything but having you in my life. Therefore, no matter what is ing for us, I will have the courage to face it with you.” Jin Xiangdong added.
Lu Jia’er’s heart was filled with warmth. The corners of her mouth were raised. “Ace, right now you are so full of honeyed words.”
“Do you not like it?” Jin Xiangdong frowned.
“No woman would hate the honeyed words. Besides, those sweet words can serve as the catalyst in bettering the relationship between a couple.” Lu Jia’er replied.
Jin Xiangdong grinned at her answer. “Then how is the catalyst I produced working for us now?”
“It is like a boulder is thrown into the lake of my heart. There are ripples in the lake now!” Lu Jia’er laughed.
Jin Xiangdong’s smile widened. He stroked her hair gently.
Looking at Jin Xiangdong’s gentle smile and feeling his touch, Lu Jia’er remembered some words a writer once wrote: if I loved you and you happened to love me, when your hair was straggly, I would smile and stroke it for you.
