The ball was about to cross the midfield line when Gunkel made a fierce but decisive sliding tackle, successfully intercepting it in their half.

Left-back Lővér moved up and passed the ball to Foyelner ahead of him.

After controlling the ball, Foyelner tried to cut into the channel.

Wang Shuo imdiately made a lateral run to the right, creating space for Foyelner by drawing away a defender.

Having played so many matches together, Wang Shuo and his teammates had developed a strong on-field chemistry.

Hainauer was in position to support the play.

The right center-back, Kuchera, held his position, ready to provide cover at any mont, but the left center-back, Herzog, followed Wang Shuo’s lateral run.

This was exactly what Wang Shuo had anticipated.

His run exposed a gap in the defense.

The rest was up to Foyelner and Hainauer.

Foyelner’s attempt to cut inside was thwarted, but he managed to pass the ball back to Hainauer just in ti.

Almost before Hainauer even received the ball, Wang Shuo had already raised his hand.

"Here!"

The Hungarian midfielder didn’t take a touch, playing a first-ti pass directly toward Wang Shuo.

The Bielefeld defenders didn’t even have ti to react before the ball was at Wang Shuo’s feet.

Fully aware of his surroundings, Wang Shuo turned and, with his right foot, guided his first touch into the space behind Bielefeld’s two center-backs.

The next mont, Wang Shuo burst into motion.

He exploded off the mark like a shot!!

In that instant of acceleration, Wang Shuo left Nico Herzog in his dust.

As he caught up to the ball at the Arc Top District, he used the inside of his left foot to push it to his right, evading the recovering Kuchera.

Kuchera had sensed the danger the mont Hainauer made the pass and imdiately turned to sprint back.

When he caught up, he was on Wang Shuo’s left, but Wang Shuo had shifted the ball to his right, perfectly setting himself up for a right-footed shot.

This left Kuchera with absolutely no way to get to the ball.

’What a cunning little brat!’

Kuchera gritted his teeth, reached out, and grabbed Wang Shuo’s left shoulder, yanking him back with all his might.

’At a ti like this, I have to commit the foul, even if it ans a red card!’

But to his utter astonishnt, it was as if Wang Shuo had anticipated his move. The mont Kuchera’s right hand clamped onto his shoulder, Wang Shuo raised his left arm and shrugged, preventing him from getting a firm grip.

’My hand slipped!’

’Damn it!’

A chilling sense of dread washed over Kuchera.

After shrugging off the foul, Wang Shuo, though slightly slowed, still caught up to the ball and, just before the goalkeeper could reach him, executed a perfect chip shot.

The ball sailed over the diving goalkeeper and dropped swiftly into the back of the net.

"GOALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!"

"It’s a goal!!!!"

"In the 76th minute, Mainz has finally broken through Bielefeld’s defense!"

"And it’s another goal from the 18-year-old Chinese phenom, Wang Shuo!"

"My God, he’s now scored in five consecutive Bundesliga matches!"

"He is the only forward in the Bundesliga so far this season to have scored in five consecutive gas!"

Just as he completed the chip shot and was pulling his leg back, he was taken down by the onrushing goalkeeper and sent tumbling forward.

But the next mont, he cheerfully scrambled up from the grass, turned, and took off running.

’One goal, 2 Passive Value points!’

’Isn’t this way better than a free throw in basketball?’

...

「Munich, Germany.」

Inside the live broadcast studio of Premiere Television, Germany’s largest pay-TV channel.

In front of CEO Mark Williams was a massive wall of screens, displaying real-ti feeds from multiple caras at Xuge Stadium.

The broadcast director would switch between cara angles as needed.

For example, the shot Mark Williams was currently watching showed Wang Shuo sprinting off the pitch with his Mainz teammates chasing after him.

But the next mont, the experienced director imdiately switched to a tight close-up of Wang Shuo by the side of the pitch.

When Mark Williams saw Wang Shuo on the screen, his first thought was, ’He’s quite handso.’

"A lot of people are saying that since Van der Vaart left, he’s the new face of the Bundesliga in terms of looks."

Mark Williams chuckled.

Having worked in television for so long, he was used to seeing attractive people and didn’t think much of it.

"Scored in five consecutive matches?"

"That’s right. The only one in the entire Bundesliga."

After hearing this, Mark Williams stroked his bearded chin, mulling it over for a mont before looking to the person beside him.

"Thomas, what’s the buzz around him right now?"

"It’s decent. He’s very young, and it’s his first season in the Bundesliga."

"Young is good. First season in the Bundesliga is also good. He’s fresh."

"You an..."

"I want to try promoting him," Mark Williams said.

"Promote him?" Thomas was surprised.

But he quickly understood the implication.

After the German dia giant, the Kirch Group, went bankrupt, global dia magnate Murdoch of News Group seized the opportunity to enter Germany. He invested in Premiere Television, quickly establishing it as the nation’s largest pay-TV channel.

Naturally, the Bundesliga broadcasting rights fell from the Kirch Group into the hands of Premiere Television.

However, after 2006, Arena Television, a subsidiary of the Deutsche Telekom group, secured the broadcasting rights for both the Bundesliga and the 2nd Bundesliga.

Later, Deutsche Telekom also acquired the naming rights for the Bundesliga.

If Premiere Television wanted to broadcast the Bundesliga and 2nd Bundesliga, they had to get a sublicense from Arena Television.

Initially, backed by the financial might of the Deutsche Telekom group, Arena Television had no intention of cooperating with Premiere Television and refused to sublicense the rights.

The situation escalated to the point where it even drew the attention of the European Union’s antitrust authorities, forcing Arena Television to eventually compromise.
