Having witnessed firsthand how the Ball God System had helped and improved him over the past year, Wang Shuo’s goal was now crystal clear.

He wanted to beco the best football player in the world!

...

What’s that old saying?

With fa cos controversy.

While Wang Shuo was burying himself in training at Strobelaler, several German dia outlets were breaking a story that was just hitting the presses.

The previous night, during the post-match press conference at Westfalen Stadium, Danish Landes head coach John Jensen accused Wang Shuo of lacking respect for his opponents in an interview with the dia.

"Without a doubt, he’s the most talented young player in Germany right now, perhaps even in the entire European Football Scene."

"But I believe he needs to learn how to respect his opponents. Otherwise, he won’t go far on his path in professional football!"

The young Danish coach, who had played for Hamburg and Arsenal and served as an assistant to Michael Laudrup during his career, expressed his dissatisfaction. He was unhappy with Wang Shuo repeatedly "toying with" the Danish players during the ga.

Yes, in his accusation, he used the exact word "toying with."

It was mainly about that one instance where Wang Shuo was continuously juggling the ball.

There was also an instance in the match where Wang Shuo nutgged an opponent.

John Jensen believed that Wang Shuo was using his superior footwork to humiliate his opponents on the pitch.

"That’s very unprofessional!"

The German dia’s reaction to John Jensen’s accusations was generally lukewarm.

This was because Dortmund had won the match.

More importantly, many German fans found Wang Shuo’s style of footwork to be a rare and exciting sight.

Besides, he wasn’t known as a player who was keen on showboating.

Many dia outlets, including the Süddeutsche Zeitung, the West German Newspaper, and the Frankfurt Allgeine Zeitung, widely believed that John Jensen’s post-match comnts were an attempt to divert attention and cover up for his team’s early elimination.

But quite a few German tabloids jumped on the bandwagon to stir the pot.

It couldn’t be helped; Wang Shuo was a hot topic right now.

He was "Mr. 20 Million," scoring in consecutive matches and in great form for the new season. The spotlight was entirely on him.

Major newspapers like Bild didn’t bother, but the tabloids needed to grab eyeballs.

And so, the next morning’s papers were filled with stories hyping up how Wang Shuo held the ball for too long and loved to toy with his opponents.

"Shaless!"

As everyone in the locker room changed their clothes and shoes to get ready for the training ground, Reus furiously threw down the newspaper he was holding.

"These dia outlets will report absolutely anything just to grab eyeballs and get clicks."

"It was just one nutg and one normal bit of dribbling, but they’ve hyped it up to make it seem like everyone hates Wang Shuo’s style of play."

"Do they really think Wang Shuo is Denilson or sothing?"

Everyone was startled by his sudden outburst.

’Isn’t that a bit of an overreaction?’

’Wang Shuo is the one at the center of it, and he hasn’t said a thing. Why are you getting so agitated?’

"Calm down, Marco. The major papers like Bild and the Süddeutsche Zeitung aren’t following the trend, right? It’s just so tabloids making things up. Just read it and treat it like a joke."

"Yeah, and a while back, wasn’t there that report where so starlet popped out of nowhere claiming she had a one-night stand with Wang Shuo? Turns out, she didn’t even know he’d transferred to Dortmund and wasn’t at Mainz anymore."

Everyone burst into laughter.

Wang Shuo himself couldn’t help but smile.

’That really was a bizarre one.’

’If I respond, doesn’t that just drive more traffic their way?’

’But if I don’t, it’s still kind of irritating.’

"If you’ve done nothing wrong, you have nothing to fear. Don’t take it to heart!"

Wang Shuo patted Reus on the shoulder. "We’re players; we have to let our performance on the pitch do the talking."

"Well said!"

Captain Kael praised Wang Shuo. "Forget having a one-night stand with one starlet. Even if you sleep with ten of them, as long as you can help the team win a championship, it won’t be a problem at all."

"Wait a minute, Captain. Ten? Would he even be able to walk after that?"

"Hmm, looking at his build, that does sound a little dangerous..."

"Wang, just give a call when the ti cos. I’ll co pick you up!"

"Hey, what’s with you guys? You looking down on my boy like that? Who do you think you’re talking to?" Subotic shot up, slapping a bench.

"Wang, once this two-ga week is over, I’ll take you to a club in Dusseldorf and find you ten girls. We’ll shut them up for good!" Foyelner chid in with a laugh.

His teammates all chid in, but Wang Shuo wasn’t bothered in the slightest.

’Sotis, it’s good to joke around like this.’

’It’s all for promoting locker room harmony!’

But no one noticed that after changing his clothes and shoes, Reus slipped out of the locker room and headed straight for Klopp’s office.

That afternoon, after training ended, Reus didn’t stay behind for extra practice with Wang Shuo as usual. Instead, he showed up in the press conference hall at Westfalen Stadium.

Several invited local dia outlets, including Ruhr News, the West German Newspaper, and the state radio station, had all gathered there.

Dortmund’s press officer, Joseph Schneck, accompanied the young, hogrown player to his interview with the local dia.

"I want to clarify sothing."

Reus spoke seriously, facing the crowd of dia microphones and caras.

"Actually, before the match against Landes, I asked Wang Shuo for a favor."

Then, Reus recounted, in great detail, the conversation he had with Wang Shuo in the locker room before the match.

He explained that he had hoped to help Dortmund score a goal in what was his first official match at Westfalen Stadium.
