The opponent for the second ga was the long-ti rival Seattle SuperSonics; Winkie arranged this, considering the proximity of Vancouver and Seattle.
But no matter how close the distance, an away back-to-back is a significant test for the team; players don’t get any rest or adjustnt ti before going into the next ga.
This is exactly what’s tough about the NBA. In terms of ga frequency, only MLB can compare, but in confrontation and physical exertion, baseball doesn’t asure up to basketball.
