Chapter 1022: The Next Day 2.
Alec waited inside his room, clad in all black, when he spread his ntal senses outward, he imdiately realized that another ntal presence had already enveloped the edges of his room.
A faint smile appeared on his lips as he clearly recognized who it belonged to.
But that changed nothing for him, he wasn’t scared in the slightest. On the contrary, it only made him more confident that he could escape without causing any commotion, he had already considered how to evade the Grand Elder if he ended up being the one to keep watch over him, but clearly, Alec had underestimated the power of appearances.
The Grand Dean didn’t want to miss such an occasion since he was at the capital, he still wanted to maintain a strong front even though the War God Mage Academy had been cut off by the Northern kingdom king, to show the world that they were not to be taken lightly.
Once he finished his preparations, Alec used his ntal energy to create a clone of his ntal presence.
It was a skill he had purchased from the system shop at a ridiculously high price, it was expensive, but his golem army had slaughtered countless Tier 7 demonic beasts, so spending that much was sothing he could afford.
That was why he had gone to the system shop to buy two ntal skills to aid his escape plan.
The first was the ntal Presence Clone. Normally, no one would buy such a skill because of how costly it was, and how unhelpful it seems, but for Alec, who needed the perfect decoy, it was as though it had been placed directly in his hands from an angel in heaven.
The second was Presence Disguise.
With these two ntal abilities, Alec could not only leave behind a flawless decoy, but also slip away before anyone realized he was gone.
After creating the ntal presence clone, he swiftly activated Presence Disguise, as his entire aura vanished as if it had never existed.
However, because the ntal presence clone had already been established, it beca far harder for Terran outside to imdiately realize that sothing was wrong.
After the first set of his plan was done he tapped into the power of the Eclipse Fenwolf, the mont he did his left hand tattoo started to glow, while he walked into the shaded corner of his room near the window, this was what he had been calculating earlier in the morning when Agnes had co to call him , he activated the Shadow Slip skill, in the next instant, he vanished into the shadow.
All the while, Terran was outside brewing tea, fully convinced that Alec was still inside, the funny part was that Terran hadn’t covered the entire room with his ntal senses.
He had only layered them around the edges, just enough to feel the aura of whoever was inside, not to observe what that person was actually doing, he didn’t want to fill the whole room with his ntal perception, as he didn’t want Alec accusing him of intrusion.
But it was the only way he would have known what Alec was doing, and since Alec had carefully avoided the corners where his ntal senses were he couldn’t even pick a clue because as much as he was concerned Alec was still inside the room..
_ _ _
Alec hadn’t gone far, he reappeared from a shadow just outside the compound, from where he stood, he could already hear the capital arena growing rowdy, the battle was about to begin.
But he had a mission of his own, he was heading back to Estonia City.
Before, he hadn’t truly believed he could change anything, especially when it ca to the High-Rank battles, but now, he was completely certain, not only could he change the tide, he believed he could win it for his clan.
Because he was no longer the sa Alec who had gone to bed the night before.
Right now, Alec possessed three golems that had entered the Tier 7 realm.
Even he found it unbelievable, as he had only hoped to raise two to the Tier 7 realm before going to bed, yet he had managed to push three into the high ranks.
But that wasn’t the real reason for his confidence, it was because each of those three golems ca with an army of mid-rank fighters.
They had ten Captain-rank summons each, and each of those Captain-rank golems could in turn summon ten more Rare-rank golems, at the mont, only Legion’s captains had all reached the Tier 6 realm, with Number One, Two and Three being the only one the system spirit had pushed all the way to the Peak of Tier 6.
As for the rest, they were all hovering at different stages of Tier 6, from low to high, but at the very least, every one of them had beco a Tier 6 realm, Captain-rank golem.
This was because when the experience was pushed toward Oni, he required far more than expected to enter the Tier 7 realm, so when it reached a critical point, Alec had no choice but to abandon his original plan of pushing all of the Captains of Legion to the Peak of Tier 6 and instead divert the remaining experience to ensure Oni successfully entered the high ranks.
Thankfully, everything went smoothly.
Alec had asked Legion and his team of ten captains to escort Oni into the Dark Region to help push his evolution, as he believed Oni would enter the high rank smoothly with Legion and his army of Cybernetic golems acting as his guard team.
At the sa ti, he sent all of his remaining main golems, except Titan—along with them.
Titan, on the other hand, was tasked with leading his newly ford group of Captain-ranked golems on a hunt of their own, and all the experience they gathered would be used to strengthen their realm.
That was how another culling began.
They searched for monsters near the gate, and with Titan leading them through such a harsh, cold environnt, they wasted no ti, they quickly killed their first Tier 7 opponents, then moved on to the next.
This relentless advance eventually pushed the shield-wielding juggernaut captain under Legion to the Peak of Tier 6 as well.
Once he reached the Peak Tier 6 realm, Titan imdiately asked Alec to help split all subsequent experience among his other nine captains, as he wanted to push all of them fully into the Tier 6 realm, and Alec agreed without hesitation.
He could tell that Titan’s decision ca from his renewed rivalry with Legion, and Alec didn’t bla him for it at all. In fact, he liked that they pushed each other forward.
This continued until Alec’s ti finally ran out and he was forced out of the Beast Forest.
It was the first ti Alec had not died inside the beast forest ever since he had chosen to start hunting inside the Third level of the Beast Forest, but instead returned to his body simply because his allowed ti had expired.
