Cause the differencs of mid rank mages battling and low rank battling was really two different distinction but still yet Alec just saw it as a huge platform to level up all his golem's to the next Tier

There seems to be a secret about the clan that only the second generation knew, as for Draco he was a third generation descendant based on the new family tree along with Zack, while Alec was part of the fourth generation descendant.
