Now reading: Chapter 305: Second Trip To The Abyss ( Part 3) from The Golem Mage, a Action novel by mystic dark.

Alec and the newly ford team made their way towards the Orc city’s space passage, as it was the only familiar place the Gordons mages knew in the Abyss Realm.

Despite Jas informing Alec about two more space passages at the academy,

Alec was determined to enter only the Orc passage anyway.

"Ohh, who do we have here?, Isn’t this Terran’s new set of disciples who needed their master’s help last ti?"

one of the two Tier 8 Mages guarding the Orc city’s space passage said, attempting to tease Alec and the team.

However, Alec promptly tossed a badge in the direction of the other guard who had been cold towards them.

The guard caught it, obviously recognizing that it belonged to Terran.

"Hmm, has Terran finally lost his mind, sending his group of Tier 2 mages all the way into the Abyss Realm?, I guess that bastard Igor got to him," the mage muttered, tossing the badge back to Alec.

"Let see your student badges," the mage demanded.

The mont the mage confird that the badge Alec had thrown was Terran’s, he could already understand their intention.

It was clear that they wanted to enter the space passage, and only with their instructor’s permission could they be allowed in.

and what better way to show permission than giving up his personal badge for inspection.

The last ti Igor had brought them, things had been different, but now thay have co on there own free will.

Alec and the rest displayed their badges, and Alec could sense a wave of ntal energy infiltrating the small wooden badge at his waist as he showed it to the guard.

He couldn’t help but marvel at the capabilities of ntal energy whenever he witnessed sothing new.

"You can go in," the mage finally conceded.

After confirming that their badges had not been tampered with and that they were indeed students of the academy, the guard had no choice but to allow them entry.

Despite the guard’s clear reluctance, Alec couldn’t help but smile at the frown on the mage’s face as he jumped into the swirling portal gate that led to the academy’s base city in the second dinsion.

"It’s funny they’re just letting anyone into the Abyss this ti around. I hope one of them dies. Maybe the fear of death would make them realize that the Abyss is not a bed of roses where inexperienced mages can co and go as they please,"

The grumpy mage muttered as he watched the rest of Gordon’s clan and Jas’ group jump into the space passage without looking back.

"Chill, you don’t have to be so worked up, I do like the boy though, and I think he has a good chance of coming back alive,"

the playful mage responded.

"(Snort) , you’re just being sentintal because you see yourself in him," the grumpy mage retorted.

"Let’s make a bet then, If he cos back, we’ll get to drink that exotic wine of yours that you’ve been hoarding for over ten years,"

The playful mage suggested, prompting the grumpy mage to angrily point at him.

"I should have suspected earlier that you’re only interested in my wine!" the grumpy mage exclaid.

"Stop acting so stiff. If even one mage dies, then I’ll owe you a Tier 8 power crystal. I hope you know I still possess one that I’ve been planning to turn into an armor. You can have it if you win,"

The playful mage added, finalizing the details of the bet.

The grumpy mage looked at him in shock, feeling incredibly tempted by the bet details.

"It’s a deal," the grumpy mage and the playful mage shook hands on it.

anwhile, Alec and his new team were unaware of the bet that had been made behind their backs due to their survival.

As they appeared in the Second Dinsion city again, the black-armored city guards led them out of the space passage once more.

"Well, for once I’m glad they didn’t try to check us with their energy. I always feel uncomfortable when they do," Arthur comnted as he shivered at the thought.

"Oh my God, don’t you see? It ans even the gatekeepers were looking down on us. They felt we were just ordinary Tier 2 mages like last ti and that there was no reason to bother," Agnes explained as they continued their way.

Towards the War God Armoury, the short man behind the counter burst out laughing as soon as he saw them.

Alec took his ti to greet the old man, Thanking him for the last ti and asked for advice, which the man willingly shared.

Although the short man was surprised to see them back in the Abyss Realm, he encouraged them to go out and kill great Orcs, just like their master had done.

Alec and the rest of the Gordons clan laughed nervously upon hearing that.

They had learned that their master had caused a lot of trouble, killing many Orcs and becoming a wanted target for several Orc chieftains.

To the extent that If those Orc Chief ever decided to join forces , it would take the whole school High rank mages , including the Dean, to stop them.

This was one of the reasons why Terran didn’t want to enter the Orc space passage.

His entering could potentially trigger a full-blown war, which was not desired by the Academy.

After all, they were not as strong as the Orcs, nor were they as nurous.

Their only advantage was that the Orcs were not united, with each chieftain ruling over different villages and regions, often conflicting with one another.

If it weren’t for the common enemy they shared in humans, the Orcs might have already started fighting amongst themselves.

"So, where do we go now?" Jas asked as they finally left the War God Armoury.

"I was thinking of attacking a small Orc village nearby, one that is close to the human base, That way, we can easily retreat if things go haywire,"

Alec declared, surprising Jas and his group, except for Lucas, who seed to enjoy the prospect of imminent fighting.

"Are you crazy?, You want us to attack a small Orc village with our numbers?, Are we going in for suicide?" Jas exclaid.

"No, believe when I say this, I have a plan. We’re definitely not fighting the whole village or trying to take it over, We’re simply going to utilize all our advantages. I promise you, just trust ," Alec reassured Jas.

"I don’t care as long as we get to see blood, I’ve been getting bored with all those unnecessary sparring at the academy without any real threat to our lives,"

Lucas chid in, but as usual, they all tended to ignore him.

They had finally realized that he was too focused on fighting all the ti.

Agnes, however, couldn’t help but worry about what Lucas might have gone through to shape him into the person he was.

She knew better than to ask, as Every mage had their own secrets.

"I can’t believe this. There are a lot of Tier 2 mages in that team. What are they doing in the Abyss Realm?" one of the people standing nearby remarked, detecting the power level of Kelvin and the others walking at the back.

"Oh, I forgot. You were at the other space gate recently. Those Tier 2 mages are disciples of Instructor Terran, the talented Earth Mage," another person explained.

"They’ve been to the Abyss Realm before, where they enraged one of the roots of the Divine Tree. It’s the reason why no one is going near that region anymore, as the wood lifeforms there have beco more aggressive than ever. They suffered heavy losses when those mages ca last ti and still couldn’t capture the main culprits," the first person continued.

"So, now they’re taking out their anger on any mages who enter their region" the second person answered

"What? Terran’s disciples embracing death? I thought every ti he got a new disciple, they stayed cooped up in their safe zone out of fear of dying," another passerby said, surprised.

"Well, this new set of disciples is different. You can gauge much from the fact that they’re in the Abyss Realm again, especially considering they were just thrown out of here less than a week ago," the passers-by mages continued to discuss.

As the Gordon mages passed by, they couldn’t help but glance at the wares of the traders inside the base.

anwhile, Alec’s group exited the gate once more, and the soldier mages saluted them in their own way.

They always respected brave adventurers who dared to face the enemies of the human race in any way possible.

The Second Dinsion races had been killing humans and invading their realm in their quest to devour it, evolve there own Realm, evolve their own cultivation, and obtain the rumored Lake of Immortality, which they believed existed within the human realm.

This was the only known reason for their attacks on humans, with the other motives remaining unknown.
