Now reading: Chapter 439: War Of Sweden City (7) from The Golem Mage, a Action novel by mystic dark.

Alec had been able to see the nas of the newly summoned undead creatures only because he had used the analyse skill on them.

Otherwise, he would have been just as clueless as the other mages present, but from what he had discovered when he had seen there description with the analyse skill was quite alarming.

The skeletal knight on horseback seed to cause a change in the skeleton army as they no longer attacked and retreated back.

This sudden change caught the Swedish city guards off guard, as it was the first ti they had witnessed such a thing as the skeletons have never retreated before, and seeing the Tier 4 skeletal knight at the back of the horde of skeletons made them concerned.

They knew things were about to beco ugly if the Lich was about to have a Tier 4 deployed against them so early in the war.

Additionally, it was their first encounter with the skeletal knight, leaving them unaware of its powers or weaknesses.

The skeletal knight entered the middle of the skeleton army’s horde, raising its sword high in the sky after unsheathing it.

The blade of his sword was engulfed in blue undead flas, matching the flas on his horse’s hooves, hair, and as well as its eyes.

Striking down with his sword, the undead fla spread across the skeleton soldiers, that have gathered around him causing them to let out howling cries.

Their bones jutted out of their bodies, appearing as if they were attempting to expand, however, instead of rely growing, they transford into bone armor and so detached to form more refined bone weapons.

And now, instead of empty eye sockets looking at them, the Sweden city guards felt that the undead were no longer the sa.

The skeleton soldiers now stared at them with their newly acquired sky blue eyes, burning with the light of the undead fla.

Their aura changed, and the skeletal knight shouted, pointing its sword towards the Sweden city guards.

With newfound energy, the skeleton army dashed towards the city guards, displaying increased strength that caught them off guard.

The elent of surprise allowed the skeletons to break through the first line of defense, overpowering the city guards who had underestimated their capabilities, and in a matter of monts, approximately two hundred city guards lost their lives in the confrontation.

The skeletons, who had previously possessed a simple attack pattern, now fought with enhanced skills. They knew how to dodge and their frustrating armor hindered the city guards’ strikes.

It was at that mont when the Tier 4 captain of the city guards felt he had fully realized the true terror of the skeletal knight.

The fact that it could transform a group of poorly skilled skeletons into formidable warriors was sothing that could not be ignored by as anyone in a war involving that many undead.

Even now, with approximately ten thousand skeletons still attempting to overpower them, the city guards understood that granting control of the skeleton army to the skeletal knight from the beginning would have been a disastrous to them.

After all, the skeletons outnumbered them greatly, and it was clear that they would not have stood a chance if that is what the Lich had commanded at the start.

The city guard captain still believes that the undead army sent these new undead creatures today because they felt threatened by the War God Academy mages.

They had been the one to disrupt the battlefield that the undead army once controlled.

Arthur, Brandon, and the other sergeant, whose na was now known to be Edgar, ran as fast as they can as they witnessed the Sweden city guards, who were all born with innate strength, being pushed back by the frenzied skeletons.

"Remind to always listen to the captain next ti, it was almost like he knew sothing like this was going to happen," Edgar comnted.

"Well, let’s be grateful that we are about to reach them soon and provide support, otherwise if we had moved late by the ti we would have arrived from our starting point, they would have lost far more than just a few hundred soldiers," Brandon pointed out, urging them all to run faster and reach the Sweden city guards.

Unexpectedly, the skeletal knight did sothing else that caught them off guard.

As he raised his left hand, conjuring a massive bluish undead fla fireball.

The Tier 4 captain of the city guards prepared to strike if the skeletal knight threw the fireball in their direction.

However, much to their surprise, the knight directed the fireball towards the dead bodies of their fallen comrades.

Being pushed farther and farther back from the spot where their first line of defense had fallen, the guards found it perplexing that the skeletal mage would attack already deceased mages.

But that thought quickly vanished as they witnessed the lifeless bodies rising, a horde of around a hundred dead mages from the city guards resurrected as zombies.

Their skin decaying and dull, vacant eyes portrayed a sense of emptiness as they mindlessly charged alongside the skeleton army, turning against their forr allies.

"Damn, this guy is even more dangerous than we anticipated!, he turned them into zombies," Arthur exclaid, summoning a massive, long tal spear and launching it directly at the Tier 4 skeletal Mage, hoping to distract him from controlling the army.

The spear made a small bang as it soared with force, speeding towards the skeletal figure, Yet as the spear reached the knight on horseback, he effortlessly drew his sword with one hand while gripping the reins with the other.

With skilful precision, he deflected the golden spear with the blade, causing it to miss him and impale three nearby zombies, silencing their growls as they remained skewered on the ground.

"Beheading is the only way to eliminate a zombie problem, but let’s deal with the skeleton on horseback first," Brandon declared as the team they moved out with finally reached the city guards, providing them with much-needed support.

However, before they could advance towards fighting the skeletal knight, a figure clad in red armor leaped forward, brandishing a raised sword.

As he swung the fiery blade downward in an attempt to sever the knight’s head, the skeletal knight swiftly pulled back the reins of his horse.

The undead mount let out an eerie neigh and reared up on its hind legs, providing the skeletal knight with an opportunity to strike.

With a swift motion, he drew his long sword from its scabbard, capitalizing on the montum created by the horse’s jump.

Though he was slightly delayed in drawing his blade, the power generated from the undead horse’s leap propelled his attack forward.

The bluish flas emanating from his blade clashed with the fiery flas enveloping the blade of Beatrice’s puppet, resulting in a massive burst of fla that sent nearby undead scrambling backwards.
