However, as he gazed at the large, brightly coloured ball, he couldn't resist raising it in his hand and giving it a light squeeze, suddenly, the ball broke with a resounding bang.
Alec could only watch as a grey smoke rushed into his nose, ears, and eyes, infiltrating his body.

Without control over the ti elent, Alec considered this knowledge to be sowhat useless for him.
"How the hell is this useful?" Alec muttered in frustration. But he still attempted to follow the flow of the attack, utilizing his earth and fla elents while seeking the sa flow as the Chronomancer.
Despite his half-hearted efforts, Alec's eyes widened in realization that he had made a grave mistake by attempting such a move within his room.
With a deafening bang, a scorching flaming bullet shot forth from his outstretched fingers, effortlessly piercing through the walls and traveling into the adjacent room.
The loud sound quickly caught the attention of Selene and the rest of the team, prompting Selene to spread her ntal energy and investigate the source of the massive destruction.
The bullet had already pierced through five rooms, and it was now on the verge of bursting into Lucas's room, however, just as panic started to grip Lucas , a black crow flew into his room and imdiately spat out a swirling black portal.
Selene materialized through the portal, without uttering a word as she swiftly cast a massive, reinforced water barrier around the room.
Lucas could only watch in astonishnt as Selene intruded upon his space, it was not until the wall on the left collapsed and the flaming bullet threatened to breach the defense that Lucas comprehended the purpose of Selene's sudden appearance, and the cause of his panic.

The water barrier trembled violently but held its ground, withstanding the impact of the flaming bullet until it lost its power and dissipated.
Selene finally released the water barrier, both she and Lucas turning their attention towards the broken walls and six rooms away.
There, they spotted Alec waving nervously with his left hand and a sheepish smile on his face, his right hand still emitting smoke.
