As Arthur went to place the bet on Michael, he encountered a couple of people who were placing their bets on Connor after witnessing his powerful strike, when they realized Arthur's choice, they burst into laughter, mocking his decision.

Connor gazed at Michael, still uncertain about how he had managed to evade his attack.
He wasn't scared of him, per se, but he desperately needed to know the spell Michael had cast, this knowledge would enable him to formulate a counter if Michael attempted a similar move again.
As he felt if all he did was unleash powerful strikes while Michael evaded everything, then he would be bound to lose.
His mind raced with various thoughts, contemplating whether Michael would engage in close-quarter combat after witnessing the destructive capabilities he possessed.
However, while Connor was lost in his deliberations, Michael grew bored and swiftly dashed towards him, catching Connor completely off guard.
In less than a second, Michael's smiling face appeared right before him, despite his surprise, Connor promptly swung his right hand, transforming it into a mass of fur with large claws.
Although Michael possessed his own tricks, Connor still felt confident that he could overpower him, thanks to his superior strength.
Michael, however, didn't retreat or make any move to draw his sword, instead, he simply extended two fingers and nonchalantly said, "This move is getting boring, show sothing else."
