The air crackled with an eerie energy, swirling in black and purple hues as Carmilla's hand beca engulfed in a vortex of electricity after she snapped her fingers.

"Shit!" Cassandra, who had remained silent since the start of the fight, cursed as she observed the lightning bolts hurtling toward her.
Though they weren't any larger than the previous [Dark Bolt] spell, but the imminent danger sent alarm bells ringing within her, as she knew at that mont she had to avoid getting struck by this attack.
Because the lightning currents that had been coursing around her body, unable to harm her all this while, now surged with increased vigor, seemingly agitated by the new spell directed at her, it was as if every cell in her body scread against making contact with the attack.
These bolts were not rely electrical in nature; they were infused with the essence of darkness itself, making them especially effective against beings with an affinity for light elent.
And Cassandra, whose primary spirit equipnt was made of light elents, knew she would be particularly vulnerable to such an assault.

The spectators were awestruck as a colossal explosion erupted, signalling the mont the Abyssal Lightning struck.
The sheer force of the lightning detonation was so imnse that it seed to ripple through the climate, causing a chilling shift, black lightning bolts began striking the spot where Cassandra had stood, each strike making the fans of the Holy Grail Academy flinch and tremble.
They could only imagine the state in which Cassandra found herself now.
Now, when they looked at Carmilla's maniacal laughter, all they saw was a daunting and terrifying figure.
Her beauty held no allure to them anymore, as they were scared to offend such a lady.
Carmilla had finally grown tired of her amusent and turned her attention to the path of the battle ring, which was obstructed by a dense fog.
But it wasn't just the fog, as streams of lightning currents crackled across the ground, transforming that part of the battle ring into an electrifying field.

Without hesitation, Carmilla extended one of her braided hair into the fog, attempting to retrieve Cassandra's body.
However, after a few seconds, she felt a tug on her hair, as she was being pulled instead, she firmly planted her legs into the ground and extended the remaining tips of her hair into the fog, trying to locate Cassandra through the sensation of the initial hair being drawn.
After a few more seconds, Carmilla sensed that she had completely ensnared sothing with her hair.
And she began to pull back, aiming to drag Cassandra out from the fog she had used as a hiding spot.
Expecting to see Cassandra in a pitiful state after being forcefully pulled from the fog, Carmilla exerted a significant amount of force.
However, as the captured entity drew closer, she started to sense that sothing was amiss, the weight she felt on her hair seed far too heavy for a human, and it didn't decrease even after pulling it at such speeds, this gave rise to a growing sense of suspicion within Carmilla.
But she Put all these thoughts aside, as she had no doubt that Cassandra had been directly hit by her Abyssal Lightning.
The spell acted like a homing projectile, seeking out areas where residual lightning energy lingered and causing explosive damage.
It could be used deceitfully as a chain lightning on a crowd of enemies or as a powerful explosion focused on a single target, just as Carmilla had demonstrated, with this in mind, she believed that Cassandra was no longer a threat.
As the hair pulled closer, Carmilla retrieved her bony black wand from her space ring and twirled it in preparation to cast a spell the mont Cassandra was dragged out of the cloud, she wasn't ready to take any chances.

Both Carmilla and the crowd were left stunned when the hair finally revealed its capture, and instead of Cassandra, it had ensnared a colossal great sword taller than Carmilla herself.
She quickly untangled her hair from the sword and used it to create a defensive barrier against the incoming onslaught of the Great sword coming at fast speed.
Carmilla cursed at Cassandra, unable to comprehend how she had been deceived.
Bang!
The enormous sword struck the hair veil defence, launching Carmilla into the air, but she displayed remarkable acrobatic skills, and gracefully rotated mid-air before landing back on the ground using her hair as a cushion force.
As Carmilla lifted her head, she finally laid eyes on Cassandra, who dashed out of the fog, her once white knight-like uniform was now completely scorched black from the lightning explosion, her hair in tatters from the attack, but despite her charred skin, Cassandra valiantly charged forward.
Lightly jumping as she neared the great sword, Cassandra grasped the enormous weapon and spun in the air before slamming it down with a powerful strike.
The blade in Cassandra's hand radiated a visibly radiant white light, as Carmilla was still bewildered by how her own spell was easily countered, but she still swiftly mobilized her hair to intercept Cassandra's aerial assault.
