# Few monts ago

Upon witnessing Alec’s Terra Bullet transform into a small array, the elders of the Ancient Blaze Clan initially remained composed.

However, as they closely scrutinized the array to determine its nature, the Grand Elder could be seen gripping the arm of his chair tighter, as his mouth trembled with growing apprehension.

“Examine that array closely and report your findings,” the Grand Elder commanded the two accompanying elders from the Blaze Clan’s inner regions that were with him.

Believing that the Grand Elder sought to test their knowledge of Alec’s fla runes, they eagerly delved into deciphering the runes, but the more they looked their bodies involuntarily started trembling too as they did so.

Witnessing their reaction, the Grand Elder shook his head, confirming his suspicions.

“How is this possible?

That is just like Rae’s flaming array, no one has ever learned any of his self-created spells, and there are no written books containing his created spells, so how is he able to do that?

“ one of the elders exclaid, a tinge of shock present in their voice.

“There are only three possible explanations,” the Grand Elder began to explain.

“The first is that it has been passed down through Rae’s bloodline since it was self created, however, considering that Alec is still in the process of evolving his fla elent and has not even reached the High Rank, we can dismiss that possibility.”

“The second reason could be direct teachings from Rae himself, however, we were all present when Rae sacrificed himself to close the portal, therefore, it is impossible for him to have personally instructed Alec, so scratch that explanation as well.”

“The third reason is that he learned a spell of Rae’s from a spell book, however, we all know that Rae never officially created such a spell book, but now, seeing this boy, I can’t help but think that Rae may have left behind a book of his self-created spells with his forr lover,” the Grand Elder proposed, igniting a sharp glint in the eyes of the two elders beside him.

As their minds wandered far, making them daydream about holding a spell book containing the vast knowledge of Rae.

In their imagination, they already pictured themselves soaring through the skies, attaining unparalleled mastery within the Blaze Clan.

Cause they felt if they were to gain access to the spells once employed by Rae, they could beco so of the most esteed mages in the clan, even if they could never surpass Rae’s unmatched power.

“If Alec truly possesses such a book, it’s no wonder he is so formidable, he must have acquired a wealth of knowledge from Rae’s abundant repertoire.”

“ I suggest we eliminate that little runt while he is still hasn’t spread his wings yet,” the second elder interjected, the conversation now taking place through ntal ssages to avoid alerting those in the VIP section.

After all, not everyone would support their plans, like the Dean of the War God Academy, who would surely oppose any plot involving his star captain.

Or the elders from the Zero Clan, who are always interjecting into the Blaze Clan’s matters, as they relished in provoking the Blaze Clan, even finding joy in using Alec as an insult towards them.

As the younger generation of the Zero Clan now persistently insulted the younger generation of the Blaze Clan, taunting them to defeat Alec first before showcasing their own strength outside, this provocation only served to further aggravate the Blaze Clansn.

However, Alec’s continuous victories over every younger generation blaze clansn he had faced, had brought sha upon the younger generation of the Blaze Clan, causing them to recoil whenever his na was ntioned or used to taunt them.

In fact, the primary reason the Grand Elder of the Zero Clan was present was to convey his profound displeasure with their clan Head Enforcer’s actions in pursuing Alec.

The Zero Clan had beco the staunchest supporters of Alec, foreseeing him as a future thorn in the side of the Blaze Clan’s affairs.

“No!

We cannot kill him now,” the first elder interjected, revealing his greed for a book of spells whose existence had not even been confird.

“First and foremost, we must regain possession of Rae’s book of spells, nothing is more important than that, once we have acquired it, then we can dispose of Alec.”

“Let us not rush into things,” the second elder cautioned, tempering the first elder’s eagerness.

“After the tournant, we shall approach Alec and respectfully request the return of Rae’s book, we shall claim it as our clan’s cherished heirloom, and it is only fitting that we reclaim it.”

“ In the process, we can also implore him to cooperate with us so that we may extract the Hell Fla from him, after all, he was able to awaken it due to his lineage with Rae, and we cannot allow a tainted blood to possess one of the most coveted variant flas.”

The Grand Elder finally spoke with a solemn countenance, shocking the two elders beside him who already believed they were delving into the realm of evil, however, when the Grand Elder unveiled his plan, they realized just how much further their shalessness and villainy lagged behind his own.

“If he refuses to surrender it willingly, we will take it by force, and this ti our actions will not stop at rely killing him, I shall personally make sure the head enforcer assembles a team to eradicate the entire Gordon clan.” The Grand Elder’s declaration sent shockwaves through the two elders beside him.

“eemmr excuse for asking, but didn’t the patriarch previously veto such an action, stating that any attack on the Gordon clan would result in significant losses for us?” The first elder’s voice quivered as he posed the question, his fear of the Grand Elder palpable even as he communicated telepathically after hearing the ruthless plan.

“What does my older brother know?

They are nothing more than a small mid tier clan, the loss we shall incur to take them out is a small price to pay to reclaim my nephew’s knowledge,” the Grand Elder retorted dismissively as they turned their attention back to the ongoing battle.

#Back to present

“Isn’t that one of Rae’s unique Flaming Wheel techniques?” The second elder’s voice trembled with disbelief, his astonishnt at Alec’s prowess growing by the mont.

“No, that’s not quite it while it shares the sa foundation, it’s evident that the spell has been modified, it seems specifically tailored to fit that runt, now I’m even more convinced that there must be a spell book involved!”

The Grand Elder’s gaze bore into Alec with lethal intensity, as his last victory move held the rapt attention of most high-ranking individuals in the VIP section.

For those who had observed Alec’s father in his youth from the side-lines, watching Alec now was giving them a Deja vu feeling, like they were witnessing a new chapter in Rae’s legacy, albeit in a different guise.

“He really takes after Rae, going out with a bang and unintentionally showing off,” remarked the Grand Elder of the Marionette Clan.

Even the Dean of the War God Academy couldn’t suppress his smile, as he believed that Alec’s recent victory had secured their team’s triumph.

However, when the Dean glanced towards the area where the Blaze Clan elders sat, he sensed sothing awry in their aura.

They were the only ones who wore frowns, prompting him to project a small strand of ntal energy in their vicinity.

To his surprise, he discovered ntal fluctuations in the air.

Swiftly comprehending that they were engaging in ntal communication, he attempted to retract his ntal strand.

But before he could do so, he felt a sharp pain as his connection was forcibly severed, causing him to cough involuntarily.

“Hmmp,” a sneer resounded within his mind, and when he shifted his gaze, his eyes locked with the Grand Elder of the Blaze Clan.

Even without anyone telling him, the Dean could already discern who had terminated his ntal strand in such manner to cause him harm.

There were various thods to sever such a ntal connection, yet the Grand Elder had deliberately chosen to crush his own.

However, rather than reacting as the Grand Elder desired, the Dean simply returned a smile, leaving the Grand Elder bewildered.
