634: Onyx Vs War God.
The War God Academy team had finally finished announcing their full nas and realms.
In the VIP section, the other Deans exchanged surprised glances with the Dean of War God Academy.
They all assud he must have sacrificed a considerable amount of wealth to boost his team’s strength.
The War God Academy Dean could only offer a nervous smile outwardly in return , while inwardly, his mind was in turmoil, he knew that he didn’t possess such wealth neither did he have any idea how his students had advanced so quickly.
Although he had seen them just minutes before, but he had been so thrilled to attend a prestigious ceremony inside the Royal Palace that he forgot to question their rapid progress.
Now that he thought about it, the leap in their battle realms was extraordinary.
Even if he doubted they would win, he was proud to see that the War God Academy team hadn’t given up.
Their morale and confidence were still remarkably high, and his gaze couldn’t help stopping at Alec, the secrets that revolved around Alec were so much that he just wanted to cut him open.
“I assu you’re all ready,” the red-haired referee said, his voice booming across the battlefield.
“In one minute, the match between both teams will begin, the rule for this match is quite simple: there are no rules, do whatever you can to eliminate the other academy’s team, the last person standing from either team will determine the winner.”
As he spoke, the referee began to levitate higher into the air, his hands clasped behind his back, exuding an aura of expertise.
The stone pillar that had elevated him slowly sank back into the ground, making a strange sound as it descended, until the entire battlefield was level once more.
Clank!
“Do cover.
Energy shield.
Ergency teleportation.
Pain level—activate,” the red-haired referee declared as he reached a certain height.
In an instant, a shimring do of light enveloped the entire battlefield, as if to protect the audience from the imminent clash that was about to begin.
But that wasn’t all, the crowd watched in awe as both teams were teleported to the far edges of the arena, their backs pressed against the wide tunnel entrances on either side.
The smooth, sandy ground transford before their eyes into a bush-covered battlefield.
Unlike the first round, which took place in a magical forest with towering trees, this terrain had knee-high bushes.
The tallest shrubs barely reached waist height, allowing each team a clear view of their opponents on the other side of the battlefield.
“Begin!” The referee’s voice echoed through the arena giving out the signal the audience had been waiting for all along, which triggered an explosion of cheers from them in return.
Without hesitation, ten mbers of the Onyx Academy sprinted across the bushy terrain, racing toward the War God Academy team.
Their captain lingered behind as his teammates surged forward, dark abilities and shadowy elents swirling around them.
The air grew colder, filled with the chilling, negative energy they brought in their wake.
“Don’t forget the plan, move out!” Alec commanded, the War God Academy team sprang into action, streaks of colourful magic trailing behind them, each hue representing a different elental affinity.
Unlike the Onyx Academy, which boasted only dark and shadow abilities, War God Academy’s mages wielded a dazzling variety of elental powers.

“Why did you attack my team before it was even confird we’d be facing yours?” Selene asked, staring out at the arena battlefield before her.
“Hmmm…” The coordinator of Onyx Academy, sitting beside her, couldn’t help but react to her words.
“You can drop the act, you may have worn a mask the last ti, but I can always recognize an aura I’ve faced before, the dark green fla pulsing deep within you and that sword at your side.
It’s clear you were the skeleton-masked individual who attacked my team on the sa day as the Zero clan enforcers did.”
Selene tilted her head slightly towards him, a smile on her face.
“I never expected Onyx Academy to be so concerned about my team, given how weak we were back then.
Why go through all that stress?, well despite everything it seems you saw ahead in the future, cause we still made it here.”
“You’re interesting, and so is your team, but if you think I attacked with my shadow corps out of concern for your pitiful squad, you’re sorely mistaken,” he replied, his smile widening.
“I was under contract.
However, since your thoughts have drifted elsewhere, what better way to show you that we’re not bothered by your team than by beating your team to a pulp?”
“Let the best team win, then!” Selene declared, refocusing her attention on the battlefield.
“How are you planning to win this one, Alec?
I’m sure you can’t keep hiding your powers for long, show the capital of the Northern Kingdom just how strong the pillar of the War God Academy team truly is,” Selene thought.

Both teams finally clashed in the middle of the battlefield, with each fighter pairing off against an opponent.
In an instant, it beca clear to everyone present that War God Academy was struggling and were the weaker team; only a few mbers, like Lucas, Beatrice, and surprisingly, Arthur—were managing to hold their ground.
anwhile, most supporters in the crowd were eagerly anticipating Alec’s next move, hoping he would rush in to assist his teammates.
Instead, he advanced slowly, taking one deliberate step at a ti.
With each passing second, he summoned his main golems: Titan, Legion, Tempest Butcher, Hive Queen, Magnito, Oni, Sword Saint, and finally, Hunter.
Alec’s gaze remained fixed on Dorian, who had his head down.
And the next second Alec noticed a dark, eerie portal materializing behind Dorian, and he realized that Dorian was summoning his undead army.
And when he does soon, they would swarm the battlefield, making it difficult for his team to maintain their footing, especially since they lacked the limitless stamina of the undead.
Without hesitation, Alec bent his legs and dashed toward the other side of the stage.
If Dorian wasn’t coming to et him, then he would go to Dorian, his mind drifted to this thought as he used his left hand to grip the sheath of his Changdao strapped to his waist.
“Titan, take care of the experts on their team, the rest of you support anyone who seems to be struggling, Hunter, focus on eliminating any mbers of Onyx Academy that shows it’s weak point.”
“Our main opponent has always been the captain of Onyx Academy; the rest are just side characters.
I’ll take the lead,” Alec’s voice rang out confidently, never even glancing back as he advanced.
His team had strategized the day before, and the plan had been quite simple and daring because if it worked out it would cause an uproar according to Pale.
From all that Alec had observed, he knew that although Onyx Academy had a formidable squad, but they were perceived as an insurmountable enemy primarily due to the presence of a single entity: Dorian.
