675: Infernal Mantle.

675: Infernal Mantle.

“Bring them out!” Alec commanded, and as he spoke, the void began to crack open, as one of the branches of the primordial tree, which he had left free for such occasions, erged from the fissured space behind his back.

It dragged along with it the body of five dead demonic beasts through the rift and widening the opening as they were transported from the amulet world, which seed to have fused with the space around Alec.

Since the amulet world was a separate dinsion linked to him, it was understandable that its space could be connected to any environnt nearby him as long as he reached out.

Three of the demonic beasts were Golden Horned Drakes, while the remaining two clearly were demonic beasts that wield the elents of fire and earth, respectively when they were alive.

Alec was trying to craft a new spirit equipnt set that would not only enhance his stats but also elevate his elental affinities to the next level.

However, despite the presence of five Tier 5 Peak beasts, the materials he needed were still insufficient.

He quickly opened the system store and purchased the necessary beast power crystals he needed using the system points he had been saving.

He held nothing back, ensuring he went all in to acquire everything he needed, once he was finished, he also bought a selection of top-grade Tier 5 materials that would prove useful.

Alec understood that acquiring a mid-rank spirit equipnt set was not as straightforward as when he obtained the Red Salamander armour set.

This realization prompted him to seek assistance from the system spirit so ti ago, which in turn helped him identify the necessary components for crafting armour suited to him.

It turned out to be quite simple: the system spirit required a certain amount of his system points to perform a compatibility scan.

Following this, various spirit equipnt sets nas appeared, complete with the materials needed for their creation.

From the list, Alec selected a particular Tier 5 spirit equipnt set that he felt matched him perfectly.

The Infernal Mantle set, that was the na of the equipnt set Alec had chosen, although there was no image to show how it would look or any detailed explanation of how much it would enhance his stats, but Alec felt an imdiate connection to the na the mont he saw it.

And he jotted down the materials he needed to craft it, and now that he had everything, he was ready to proceed.

He sent his mana toward the materials laid out before him, triggering the system.

[> Ding!]

[Detected materials required for forging a Tier 5 equipnt set]

[Begin forging for 1,000,000 system points (Y/N)?]

The enormous amount he would need to pay nearly choked Alec, but he felt it was worth it and pressed ‘Y.’

At that mont, another notification appeared:

[Detected a free spirit equipnt forging coupon]

[Price reduced by 25% due to the coupon.]

[750,000 system points have been deducted; forging and crafting process will begin soon.]

The new notifications reminded Alec that he had received a free spirit equipnt set as one of the rewards when Titan had last evolved.

His only regret was that the coupon was only valid for one piece of equipnt.

If it had applied to the entire set, he wouldn’t have had to pay any amount from the one million fee he was charged, still, he felt pleased about the 25% discount.

As the crafting process began, the four corners of Alec’s room beca enveloped by a reinforced mana array.

He looked around in awe, as it was the first ti he had witnessed such a technique.

He had seen others create arrays using brushes or engraved objects before, but this was the first ti he observed mana being woven to form arrays.

The intricate patterns were so beautiful and ancient-looking that Alec found himself montarily lost in their srizing design.

Alec felt he understood the main reason behind the array arrangent, because even though the room was soundproof and it seed that ntal energy couldn’t breach through, it didn’t an it was impenetrable to the system.

Considering that the creation of a Tier 5 equipnt would generate a lot of disturbance, it was understandable why the system would take such asures to protect its privacy.

After these precautions were put in place, a bright light flashed above the materials Alec had provided, however, unlike previous tis, he didn’t react or raise his hand to shield his eyes.

He had grown accustod to the ways of the system and had prepared himself; he had effectively covered his eyes with a small ntal energy shield, which helped him withstand the intense white light while his eyes glimred with a light blue hue.

This enabled him to peer through the light and see the outlines of two individuals moving around the materials he had supplied.

Alec, who believed he wouldn’t be surprised by the system’s forging process anymore, was taken aback.

He never imagined that, despite all his experience, he would witness the system manifesting the images of two master craftspeople working in perfect sync.

Even though they were both focused on different parts of the equipnt, Alec felt an intuitive sense that everything would co together seamlessly.

He watched with rapt attention as they diligently carried out their work in his room, as their work equipnt were recreated by the system using the system points he had paid.

anwhile, outside the room, the Dean returned, eager to speak with Alec.

At that mont, he didn’t care whether the War God Academy’s “little star” wanted to be undisturbed; he needed to clarify a few matters.

However, as his hand grasped the doorknob, a surge of electricity shocked him, causing his body to tremble.

He quickly withdrew his hand, looking at the door in surprise.

The new Dean’s eyes turned a light blue as he attempted to peer into the secrets of the lock while reinforcing his hand with mana in an effort to open the door again.

He felt that the last incident had occurred because he hadn’t been careful enough; after all, how could he have anticipated that a first-year student would be capable of enchanting his door?

When he grabbed the doorknob a second ti, the electricity that surged through his hand this ti was double the intensity of the first shock, and he was still unable to open the door.

This left the Dean standing there in an increasingly embarrassing situation, as those watching from the main room must have thought he was hesitating to enter.

There was no way they would believe that the Dean was unable to open a simple door.

Not wanting to make things any more awkward, the Dean slowly stepped away, now more surprised and curious about Alec’s origins.

anwhile, Alec, engrossed in the process of creating his new equipnt set, was unaware of the scene that just happened outside his room.

When the runes had appeared on the walls, he had assud they were only intended to contain the noise of the forging and crafting within the room.

He would never have guessed that they were also designed to prevent anyone from entering, even if he had known, he would have been delighted by the thoughtful execution of the array as he won’t be able to explain what anyone might see when they ca in without exposing the system.
