745: Good To Be Ho.

745: Good To Be Ho.

This ti, the entire team was eliminated together, one after another.

Alec didn’t know exactly what they had faced, but judging by the terror on their faces when they were teleported back into the amulet space, it had to be sothing truly dreadful.

Fortunately, he was already prepared for their return, as he had dumped a large pile of low rank demonic beast corpses near the mana pool so it could consu them for its growth, considering the low rank corpses unnecessary at the mont given his recent influx of Tier 5 and Tier 6 corpses for refining.

So rather than letting them go to waste, he decided to put them to good use, by feeding the mana pool to push it to a higher level.

This upgrade would not only benefit him but also his new team when they recovered from their hunt, by the ti the corpses had fully dissolved, the mana pool had reached the fifth level, and now even a Tier 6 Mage could now gain so benefits from it, let alone his team, who were still in the Tier 5 realm.

When they were all finally expelled from the Beast Forest, the eleven tallic eggs that had once revolved in the amulet space had disappeared, confirming that Alec had successfully obtained his second Tier 6 golem, sothing none of them were even aware of.

But the most exciting part wasn’t the evolution, it was the sheer amount of system points and experience pouring in by the minute.

Even as he led his clansn toward the mana pool, he could feel the constant ping of notifications in the back of his mind, which ans he still had his golem team in the beast forest hunting for him.

“I take it you all had a great hunt?, But what exactly happened out there for you all to get wiped out at once?” Alec asked as they stepped into the mana pool.

Watching how quickly they were recovering their mana made him slightly proud, he didn’t know how the Royal Palace’s mana pool compared to his, but he was certain it wasn’t capable of accommodating a High-Rank Mage.

That was why only a select few were allowed access to it, unlike his own, which could replenish itself by absorbing the ambient energy of the amulet world or evolving through the remains of dead beasts.

If Alec had to guess, he would say the mana pool under the Royal Clan’s control was only at Level 6.

And he was confident that his own would eventually surpass that one day, so he wasn’t particularly upset about the king stripping him of his rewards as the winner and his rights.

What truly bothered him was the blatant injustice done to him and his team, and the worst part?

He had no way to fight back against it.

“It was a kangaroo, Mid-Tier 6, but it had control over three elents.

It had a long scar running down its left eye and was incredibly vicious.

It felt like so sort of alpha among other kangaroos, hunting us down with a whole group under its command,” Arthur explained, causing Alec to fall into deep thought.

Sothing about this beast sounded familiar, but no matter how hard he tried, he couldn’t place where he had encountered it before.

What really caught his attention, however, was its intelligence.

A beast capable of hunting human mages in a pack while commanding others like it?

And with three elental affinities?

That was unheard of.

He had encountered creatures with two elental affinities or one elent and a unique ability, but never had he co across one wielding three distinct elents in the beast forest, just hearing Arthur describe it made his blood race with excitent.

A part of him wanted to dive straight into the Beast Forest and hunt it down himself, but reality hit him, as he rembered that ti was running out, and soon, he and his entire group would be ejected from the amulet space.

With that in mind, he decided to put this kangaroo on his hit list for his next visit.

About fifteen minutes later, Alec and his team were booted out of the amulet space.

When they woke up back in Alec’s ho, exhaustion weighed heavy on them, the mana pool had helped ease their muscle strain and replenish their energy(Mana), but fatigue still lingered.

Arthur, wasting no ti, was the first to call it a night, barely uttering a word before collapsing into a deep sleep.

While the rest of the team – Sophia, Emma, Aiden, Kelvin, Endrick, and Ethan, weren’t used to such intense experiences, they had lost count of how many tis Arthur and Brandon, their supposed leaders, had thrown them into danger.

More often than not, as they found themselves running from hordes of demonic beast when their planned attacks didn’t go as expected.

Despite the stress and near-death encounters in the Beast Forest, they couldn’t deny the results.

Endrick, who had felt his cultivation stagnate ever since reaching the Tier 5 Mage Realm, finally sensed progress, not only that, but after repeatedly using his spells in battle, he felt his understanding of them deepening.

Though his breakthrough wasn’t significant, but Sophia and Knight had gained the most from this round, both advancing to the Mid-Tier 5 Mage Realm, their progress had taken the entire team’s power to another level.

Kelvin and the others had also made steady advancents, pushing themselves into the High-Tier 4 Mage Realm.

Their rapid growth was due to the nature of their battles, they had consistently taken on large groups of demonic beasts, many of which included Tier 5 threats, this ant that those in the lower realms had plenty of experience to absorb and build upon.

With Arthur already sprawled out on Alec’s bed, the rest of the team followed suit, looking for places to sleep.

Fortunately, thanks to Arthur and Brandon’s habit of crashing in Alec’s house, they had brought two beds over in different rooms, making it easier to settle in.

As they left one of the beds for the three ladies, while the remaining two were shared among the guys.

With everyone settled in, Alec stepped outside into the cool night air, he lifted his gaze, taking in the serene beauty of the moonlit sky.

Despite his exhaustion, sleep eluded him.

Instead, he made his way to the shade of the lone tree in his courtyard, resting his back against its trunk as he admired the small pond before him.

Taking a deep breath, he closed his eyes, settling into a cultivation stance beneath the tree’s shade.

“It’s always good to be ho,” he murmured, as he looked forward to a sunny day in a few hours.
