Now reading: Chapter 786 - 786 Gordons Younger Generation Six Moon from The Golem Mage, a Action novel by mystic dark.

786: Gordons Younger Generation Six Moon.

786: Gordons Younger Generation Six Moon.

They were hunting down lots of Tier 4 zombies all the way to Tier 5 Mutated zombies at an astonishing rate, among them, Arthur stood out, not just for his efficiency but for his flair, as he was fully clad in silver armour ford by his golem, he embodied flashiness to the fullest as he looked like a silver knight from dieval ti.

He was surfing through the battlefield with twin silver blades conjured from his tal abilities, while riding on the earth wave spell that had been casted on what looked like an earth glide board, he then displayed a swordsmanship style that was both unorthodox and newly refined.

It was the result of two gruelling weeks of training under Alec, though calling it training was generous, as Alec had simply forced Arthur to fight him repeatedly with weapons, delivering crushing defeats to Arthur until the weapon mastery took root.

Unlike traditional swordsn, Arthur’s style was uniquely his own, sothing Alec suspected was influenced by the system itself.

The system likely analysed his fighting patterns, gathering data on how he wielded both his sword and his fists, then, upon levelling up the mastery, it infused him with deeper insights tailored to his evolving combat style.

Alec theorized that system-driven mastery wasn’t just a sudden gain, it required the user’s body to be pushed to its limits first, which is why he had Arthur repeatedly beaten down and forcing his body to adapt to the weapons, and he was certainly progressing, even if he couldn’t fully grasp it in the mont.

But with the system tracking his every improvent, Alec could see his growth as clearly as if it were laid out before him, even if its little by little.

The progress Arthur made wasn’t just in technique, it was in his body itself.

His muscles adapted as he grew more attuned to the sword or the way of the fist with gauntlet, the muscles refined themselves to handle the demands of combat that Alec put Arthur under.

This was why the system only imparted specialized sword techniques once a user levelled up properly, as by then, their body had already developed the necessary strength and control, ensuring they could execute the new moves naturally without risk of injury.

If these techniques were given too early, before the user had built the proper muscle foundation, the consequences could be fatal.

As the mage attempting an advanced sword move without the required physical conditioning wouldn’t just fail; they might end up dead in battle, unable to match their mind’s intent with their body’s execution.

Arthur, now wielding his abilities like a living weapon, tore through zombies with ruthless efficiency, and with his secondary elent being tal, it made him even deadlier, as his blade slashed effortlessly through throats as he dashed between Tier 4 enemies and even encountered a few Tier 5 threats.

Whenever he found himself in a tight spot, Endrick was there, either pulling him out with his branches or finishing off enemies from a distance with wood enchanted arrows.

At the heart of the mid-rank battlefield, Endrick had summoned a towering tree with deep roots anchoring it to the ground.

Unlike a normal tree, this one lacked branches or leaves, it was a single, massive wooden pillar, and at its peak stood Endrick, with bow in hand, scanning the battlefield with unwavering focus.

From this vantage point, he provided cover for the Gordons mages, his sharp gaze ensuring that no ally within a hundred ters would go unassisted.

String!

Thang!

The steady rhythm of his bowstring echoed through the battlefield as he loosed mana-infused arrows with plant affinity.

The thrill of precise shots coursed through him, and soon, he began experinting, embedding plant spells into his arrows, to his surprise, they carried even more power, and yet, this was not the only thing he could do.

Though it seed like Endrick had created the towering tree log just to gain a higher vantage point for attacking, but that wasn’t true, its true purpose ran much deeper, the roots that extended into the ground didn’t just stay in place, they stretched out across a fifty-ter radius, forming an underground web of entanglent.

Every ti Endrick cast his Entanglent spell, these roots would burst from the ground, ensnaring Tier 4 zombies and making it easier for the Gordons mages to cut them down.

He deliberately avoided targeting Tier 5 mutated zombies, knowing that restraining them would require an overwhelming number of root vines.

Instead, his focus was on reducing the Tier 4 zombie numbers, allowing the Tier 4 Gordons mages to free up and support the Tier 5 mages who have a shorter number in gaining an upper hand.

Beyond his entangling roots, Endrick also provided long-range assistance with his arrows, since there were only about twenty Tier 5 mages, and most of them stayed in one place, he had a clear line of sight on them.

Whenever they faced serious trouble, a light green arrow infused with an enchanted plant spell would zip through the battlefield, arriving just in ti to turn the tide.

Among the five who had been given nicknas, Arthur embodied a pure attack-class mage, while Endrick was the very definition of a support-class, but he wasn’t the only one reinforcing the Gordons mages as a support , there was soone even more destructive.

Agnes.

She was like a force of nature, demonstrating exactly why, in large-scale battles, magic-path mages had to be eliminated first, as if left unchecked, they could decimate entire sections of an opposing weak army, and that was precisely what she was doing while levitating slightly above the Gordons mages.

With relentless efficiency, she unleashed devastating combinations of mid-rank water and earth spells, her water shields wrapped around the Gordons mages, coating their armour with an extra, sleek layer of protection against the zombie virus.

Agnes didn’t just overwhelm the battlefield with raw power, she controlled it, she created patches of muddied ground near the charging zombies behind, slowing large sections of the horde.

When they finally realized they were at a disadvantage of being targeted by long range earth spells they attempted to take to the air, but she was already a step ahead.

A massive, specially prepared water bomb rune that had been camouflage detonated in the sky, right where she had anticipated they would retreat to, the explosion sent shockwaves through the air, tearing apart weaker zombies and leaving the survivors montarily disoriented.

But even those who managed to endure the blast had no chance of escape, because they were falling straight into the outstretched earth spears of the Gordons mages, who had been waiting for the perfect mont to strike.

Caught mid-air with no way to maneuver for a few seconds due to the explosion, they were swiftly impaled and eliminated.

As the zombies fell one by one at the Gordons’ rcy, elsewhere, Knight was slipping through the battlefield’s shadows, systematically assassinating Tier 5 zombies every fifteen seconds, and he wasn’t alone, Sophia moved with him.

The only reason there was a fifteen-second interval between each of his strikes was the cool down ti on his shadow travel spell, normally, it only took ten seconds to reset, but carrying another person along increased both his mana consumption and the cool down slightly.

It was a small price to pay for the efficiency they achieved together.
