“I got that one!” Titan said as he extended both arms, forming small spiked mace heads connected by icy chains to the handles he gripped.

Though Titan was in his humanoid form, however, even though he was shorter than his usual golem size—he still towered over Griz.

“I guess that leaves with you,” Legion’s chanical voice echoed while talking to Fizzle as he swung his left arm, materializing a series of magazine clips for the Fragnt gun.

The idea of being casually picked out like prey by two golems felt downright insulting to Griz and Fizzle, and they were already imagining how they’d tear the Golem constructs apart, until Alec’s next words nearly made them cough up blood in disbelief at how lightly they were being taken.

“Just take it easy on them, you know we’re not supposed to kill them. Don’t want that old man breathing down my neck.” Alec said.

With that, Titan and Legion advanced, drawing Griz and Fizzle away from Red.

“You look down on us too much,” Griz growled, swinging his spiked club horizontally as a wave of flas surged toward Titan.

But Titan swung one of his maces in response, as the chain wrapped around the flaming club restraining Griz from pushing forward.

“Ice Burst,” Titan commanded.

The mace exploded into ice particles which got stuck on the weapon after the explosion, and suddenly Griz’s weapon felt significantly heavier.

Still, he didn’t back down, he lashed out with a kick, but Titan t it with a raised elbow, forcing Griz to pull back with a grunt of pain, but it wasn’t over, as Titan followed up with a clean swing from his second chained mace, striking Griz’s face just as he reeled.

“Ice Burst.”

This ti, the mace exploded against the right side of Griz’s face, encasing it in frost that clung tightly to his skin, blocking his vision there and leaving him disoriented.

“You sucker, you better pray I don’t catch you, or you’ll wish you were dead!” Griz snarled, barely able to control his rage as he felt mocked by Titan standing calmly before him, but Titan only shrugged and replied coldly,

“You loser, you better hope I’m not given the order to kill—because if I were, your brains would be splattered in less than five moves.”

Because his mission was to restrain Griz and not kill him, Titan was forced to fight non-lethally, and it was clearly wearing on him, ever since Alec had created him, Titan’s fighting style had focused on ending battles quickly—lethal, cold, and devastatingly efficient. Trying to hold back now felt unnatural, and it irritated him deeply.

While Titan struggled with restraint, Legion seed to be handling things with ease, keeping Fizzle completely in check.

With his jetpack and booster-equipped boots, his aerial maneuverability was unmatched, as he weaved through the air, launching precise volleys of bullets to suppress Fizzle’s movents.

Initially, Fizzle had underestimated Legion, thinking his strange weapon looked more like a toy than a threat, but he paid for that mistake, as Legion raised his fragnt gun and opened fire when they were close to clashing.

Fizzle responded by conjuring another wind veil with a swipe of his left hand, but this ti, not only was the veil torn apart in under a second, it had nearly cost him his left hand, as Legion emptied his entire magazine on Fizzle, with bullets shredding through the air with relentless force.

Now, the deafening echoes of the fragnt gun had beco a waking nightmare for Fizzle, instead of countering the bullets, he was forced to flee after his leg hand got riddled with bullets, but Legion gave him no reprieve—he was always just a step behind.

Targeting non-lethal areas while inflicting maximum pain, Legion moved with chanical precision.

And once his ammo ran out, he would retreat, spinning the fragnt gun with his index finger through the trigger guard, the spin was swift—almost fluid—and during that brief motion, his other hand would be working on reloading the next magazine.

Alec didn’t know how he does it, but that was how efficient he was, and once reloaded, he returned imdiately to tornting Fizzle.

Thanks to the relentless actions of Alec’s golems, the ignorant Tier 7 goblins finally realized their mistake, that these weren’t just ordinary Tier 6 creations, as their battle prowess was so high that I gave them the impression that the golems could give 90% of Tier 7 lifeforms a serious challenge in a one-on-one fight.

With both golems holding their own, Alec finally got a clear path toward Red, who was trying his best to appear composed and unbothered despite his injuries.

“Don’t think I’ll go down that easily,” Red said, attempting to distract Alec, but even Alec wasn’t interested in taking his eyes off him, as in a fluid motion, he drew his blade, reversed the grip, and drove the blood Changdao backward, piercing through the gaps of his left armpit with both hands clenched tightly around the Changdao hilt.

Puchi.

A painful groan rang out—as another Tier 7 goblin who had attempted to sneak up behind Alec while he was busy with Red got attacked instead, all this had happened without Alec even turning around, he had struck the Tier 7 goblin while still having his back facing the Goblin.
